I don't know if its fate or what. I have been going through this phase where i am not sure about my future. I have been living in CANADA for 3 years now, till now i haven't found a single reason to settle down here. Day by day my mental health is deteriorating. Earlier i never thought weather to be a reason behind that now that i listened to you made me realize this. The culture and the environment is so different. Being in India we watched all the movies and the TV shows depicting the lifestyle of the west but once you land here and experience it for yourself then you realize that it nothing like that. Back home its so easy to live alone, even if you are not earning huge amount of money you can survive and live happily. The most important point that you talked about is HELP, i have never felt so alone in my life that i have felt living here for 3 years. Coming here made me love my Country more. I am glad my country makes you feel like home and i am very thankful to all those people who made you so welcome and happy in India. To all the youngsters thinking that our country in not worth it believe me there is nothing like our Country. That's me a Indian living in Canada and lots of Foreigners living in India telling you that. Sure go abroad and find whatever it is that you are looking for, but if the youth will not help their country who will. Sorry love i got very emotional there. Thanks for this, I really needed it. Much Love. Jai HIND

One should live for few years abroad just to have an exposure and learning and then one should come back. Thats what i did. As a frmd i would say plz dont waste your time and dont suppress your emotions. We have one life. Better to spend in india.

I am Indian and I live in South Korea. I realise after moving here how much I miss house help. It's difficult for me to cook and clean every day. Also, I love Korean food but I can't have it every day and so I have to cook for myself. Another thing that I realised was the sense of community. In India people talk to each other. You will have a bus friend, a metro friend. I will talk to people on a train and that makes my journey fun. Here I have to stay by myself all the time. It can get lonely sometimes. I miss my home a lot and the weather is good in India.

The entire demeanor and mood of the country 95% of the time is depressing because of the weather and it has a HUGE effect on mental health, especially for me having grown up in a warm climate. The access to conveniences like domestic help in India is something you cannot find anywhere else and definitely improves overall quality of life and happiness.

It is great, Ivana, to hear about quality of life in India in this video. I am also living abroad and I must admit what you have just explained. As far as weather is concerned India is blessed with all kinds of weather. If one likes a mix of warm and cold weather Bangalore is the place. If one likes only cold or chilly weather then Shimla, Ladakh, Nainital, Mussories, Darjeeling, Ooty, etc. is the place to live. If one only wants a hot weather Chennai, Hyderabad, Trivandrum, kochi, etc. are the place to live. If one wants to enjoy all types of weather at one place then Delhi, Kolkata, Jaipur, etc. are the place. Of course food of India is great specially vegetarian food. Simply it has no comparison. But the best part I love about India is, everything is available there at door step including home delivery that too at a very reasonable price. These things we miss a lot outside India, specially during Corona and Lockdown. So in my opinion these mixes form to quality of life. And, it is available in abundance in your country of choice - INDIA.

This is so true ! People working in india are obsessed about settling down abroad … it’s mostly for financial security and quality of life in terms of gov provided benefits which in india is missing.. Indians majorly spends more than 30 yrs of ther life studying hard to get a job abroad & leave india for good.. but these are the small things that people usually fail to appreciate as the focus is always on the bigger picture.. At the end of the day, it all depends on an individual on what does “quality of life” means to him / her..

I am from andhrapradesh and my parents lived in Andaman Islands for a few years after I moved to USA and they are so impressed with the quality of life in Andaman Islands along with calmness and beautiful sights . Quality of life here in US is great as well as I live in a small town with amazing and welcoming neighbors . Again every place can be amazing if we have friends and well wishers along side .

Times are changing with rapid economic progress India still retains its characteristic old world charm. Quality of life is extremely good. Not enough has been said about the entertainment and cultural landscape obviously in this short video. For those who are spiritually and intellectually inclined there can be no better place in the world than India. One life time is not enough to experience everything.

Yes, I am Indian. I agree that you earn lots of money in foreign countries but you never get lots of attachment and love as it will get in India. Here family matters a lot. People are loving, caring and helpful Here there is unity in diversity. You can enjoy different weather, climate, food, peoples, living styles, languages, festivals, places and lots more. I love India very much. Mam, i am very much impressed from you. Foreigners are very much attracted from our country. We welcome everyone. We believe in vasudev kutumbkam i.e. all person living in this world are our family members. With lots of love and respect from bottom of my heart to you and all foreigners living in India 💖💐🙏

I am following Ivana for more than three years. India has great diversity, it has places like Kashmir which is as beautiful as Switzerland, it has lots of exotic beautiful beaches, it has Himalayas, it has desert in Rajasthan, it has majestic wild life forest, it has huge natural wealth, it has world's largest middle class population (450 millions), it has nuclear weapons, it has nuclear submarines, it has aircraft carriers, it is world's third largest economy (in PPP measurements) and fifth largest (in GDP measurements), it has glorious future ❤️

Quality of life depends on the individual and is highly subjective. Talking about QOL is like saying my mom is the best mom in the world. You are right, if one can get a good social life and a pay which satisfies your lifestyle and other personal commitments India is quite a nice country to live in as places like Bangalore, Mumbai, Chennai etc have great services available at the click of the button which are unimaginable in a western developed country for an ordinary middle class salaried person.

After living in London, England since 1977 and my husband since 1965, we have decided to come back to India to have a good life but unfortunately nothing went according to plan and I lost my husband of 44 years. Now, as I am all by myself, I have no option than moving to a senior living place from my own flat. After putting a deposit of about 20000.00 pounds, the monthly expenses are about 400 pounds that include food, cleaning, room service, regular free basic health check up, 24 hours security. I have my own car and full time driver. All these would have cost a lot in England. I still have to get used to someone holding the door for me or pressing the lift button for me. It's like staying in a 5 star hotel. weather at the moment is very pleasant. I stayed in bangalore and it's lot better than some of the other cities specially weather wise. I would have enjoyed my life here so much more with my beloved husband but it's not meant to be. Destiny what they believe in india. 🇮🇳 Wish you a very happy life in india.

Hi, I don't know how to get this message across to the American RU-vidr living in India. The steel container is not for holding the steel glass, instead, it is to cool the tea down. You need to pour the tea into the steel glass from a certain height, which comes with practice and then pour it back into the glass you had it in initially. You need to repeat this process multiple times until you find a suitable temperature of your liking. After which you can pour the tea back into whichever glass you like and then start consuming the tea.

I have met few foreigners when i was living in Goa and most were soldiers from Russia or Israel who were here to decompress and have a good time. Then I met some students from Africa and middle east who are here for studies. Most interesting was a guy from Ghana who studied in Bangalore and does BBM from a college + courses in IT. He was studious and was a great companion for studies and we did party once. This was before COVID and he left for his home country after studies and I will remember fondly his visit as he only had good things to say about India even with some negative stereotype that African students have to face in Bangalore and Goa.

I totally relate to what you said about the cold weather. I'm in England and the disappointingly low temperatures throughout the year is one thing but there are many factors that conspire that make a 10C day in Melbourne Australia feel totally different to 10C day in an English village. There's a 'freezer compartment' chill in the air. It's always windy and that wind is like ice. That icy breeze really changes things. The air feels different and importantly, the sky is an oppressive white for half a year or more. I don't mind wonderful, dramatic, gothic grey cloudy skies but white as a sheet of paper is intensely horrible. Nobody talks about this detail, anywhere, ever! It's amazing how people accept the details in their reality and don't have anything to compare the contrast to, thinking it's all "normal" or more likely, not even noticing. I love watching movies and videos where I can FEEL the warmth of the air, the lush green vegetation. I have a vivid imagination and it's easy to gasp and physically relive the memories of all my happy summer holidays. It's almost astonishing how different 2pm can be all around the world. Stepping out of an aeroplane in a hot humid Asian, Mediterranen or tropical climate is the best feeling ever-- I can almost gulp in the hot, heavy damp air. Wonderful! The smells! The smell of hot steaming soil in a garden after a tropical downpour! Oh, wonderful. I TOTALLY get it.
