This move is absolute perfection, a timeless classic that never fails to entertain and make you feel all the emotions that come from watching it the first time around. Please make more videos like this!!! There really are some great classic films of the 2000s, another film I thought of was Just My Luck, Lindsay has some amazing roles and films in her repertoire

Jamie Lee been talking about doing a sequel now that she’s done with the new Halloween trilogy. I wouldn’t mind seeing a follow up especially after seeing her do a lot of dark films lately.
In FREAKY FRIDAY 2003, the protagonists (a mother and a daughter who swap bodies) have a lot of scenes together, unlike the 1976 version where they spent the whole movie apart. That generates many funny scenes but also deep family conflicts that don't feel manipulative nor cheesy. The script and the performances are hilarious and the original songs kick ass! 1976 - 4/10 2003 - 9/10 2018 - 7/10
I completely agree! The 2003 version was such an improvement, particularly because of how much Tess and Anna interact throughout the film. I haven’t seen the 2018 version!

I love this movie but I want to shout out three reasons you should also watch the 1970s version. 1. Jodi Foster is amazing! Possibly the coolest and most talented child actor in the history of movies. Also her character is a competitive acrobatic water-skier! It just doesn't get cooler than that! 2. The screwball car chase finale is hilarious! And yes, acrobatic water-skiing is involved! 3. The daughters side of the swap actually works a bit better in the original. In the remake the mother is clearly a very successful woman and her daughter never truly believes what she does is easy or looks down upon her. In the original the mother is a housewife and her daughter believes she just sits around the house all day and does a few easy chores. What she learns is how much work her mother actually does to support the household. This was actually something people were just beginning to examine at the time; how much unpaid work women were doing everyday and never getting credit for.
