as an early bloxburger, i honestly still play bloxburg but the chat is dead, there is no rps and when i join into a rp server/neighborhood, they just say ''no ew sorry''
Another thing is that annoys lots of people is the fainting! You used to be able to have a nice rp and work for a long time, but now u have to keep worrying about getting ur moods up to prevent fainting. Lots of people hate the fainting now.
thewy did that so they could stop afk farming but there are so many better ways to do that. like an example: if your working and you stay still for more than on minute you get teleported to your house. or even something better
Idek why I bought Bloxburg. You need so many game passes for simple things like a basement or advanced placing when there’s games like roville that give it to you for free

I think vc wouldn’t be a good idea one of the issues of bloxburg is no one chats anyway so most probably wouldn’t use it and the people who do would probably be trolls. Definitely should of added a school and a hospital and maybe updated the furniture store and added some other buildings or updated existing ones

The servers are so dead, i join and i see barely activity no roleplays no working just tuts or people building other peoples houses, all the activity is new players. I started playing roblox in 2020 and i started bloxburg in like somewhere between like December 2020 and January 2021 and there was so many roleplays and building and interaction.

i tried to play bloxburg on an alt when it went free, and i was shocked how little money i made, i remember when i started in 2018 making money was way easier, and i was younger so obviously i didn’t have an attention span to work for a long time like i could now, but these younger kids are typically impatient which is reasonable and it’s 10x harder to make money
I remember making 100k was easy, now I have to work a 30 min shift to make 20k and I’m level 30 in my job so imagine how hard it is for players who are level 1 and just started
I think they quit cuz bloxburg is time consuming and super gamepass restricted to be honest cuz you need like high gardening levels n gamepasses to rly make ur house stand out and super beautiful
Maybe Bloxburg was too late for being free (because its been 8 years) but they could have made more revamps first BEFORE making it free and probably would get more positive attention from some of those OG Players if they didn’t have that bad pay check update and I think they should make the game f2p friendly because at the moment its literally a p2w game if you want to make a decent house and they should also make an update of separate servers for roleplaying and building so people won’t quit because of the dead atmosphere
I don’t think it was too late based on the player count at first the issue is there still isn’t enough to do. The appeal of bloxburg was to build and it was a niche small game. So making it free wiped some the appeal of it and doesn’t have enough to keep people who don’t care for building there
This isnt true, i LOVE bloxburg and i alaays play, i feel like the prices for the gamepasses are completely Fair and i only have 4 which are my personal favorites, but you really dont need all of them to play the game, you just need dedication. Id say the only two NECESSARY gamepasses to start are advanced placing and excellent employee which are the first ones i had. And the fainting is because of afk farming, It also takes long to faint so it doesnt brother me at all

@@Emily48503 well basements, two floors or more plot space are not necessary at all, in fact of those you named i only have multiple floors and i dont always use It. And a lot of people that just joined bloxburg do have robux too
I think the main reason why bloxburg is back to low numbers again is because the roleplayers would wrather play something like Brookhaven where they already have houses ready to roplay in the second you join. While in bloxburg you have to build your own which can take weeks for getting all the money and actually making it. While the community being toxic probably did make some leave that was not the main reason.

@xbreezee that's whole point the original commenter was trying to make that people who like role-playing don't like having to build a house that might not even turn out good and the starter home might not fit the aesthetic of their role-playing while in Brookhaven you have so many free pre-made houses that fit different aesthetics
I honestly don't understand why people we're mad at bloxburg going free- it was a paid BETA, it was always meant to go free at some point- But I do agree it wasn't ready, we need new plots, better map, and more developed jobs/skills they def rushed into this, but people do understand it was MEANT TO BE FREE
Exactly the issue isn’t it went free it’s the fact it wasn’t ready to go free for the reasons u already mentioned that new people have already tied it and either like it or moved on old players left cuase they don’t like it went free causing the decrease. As the game hasn’t got enough to keep the new interested and bloxburg lost its charm for the older players

i agree, but that relates a lot to what i was talking about with finding rps in neighborhoods is how are new players who are typically passive players going to find these neighborhoods to join? i think bloxburg should make a feature where u can categorize your neighborhood and ppl can just click, instead of having to go out their way to find a username

tbh i feel like bloxburg did'nt plan this out enough because they took it to twitter explaining the update and adding more stuff without thinking of their commuity which led to boycott,lower numbers, and people quiting if they kept the game robux for a bit more and dded more things to the games because they said the game was going free after beta and they're still adding stuff so the game isn't finished on top of unbanning people which ll leads to new players being harassed and they're numbers going down they're moving to fst,

Before Bloxburg became free, there was a lot of curiosity from players who couldn't access it, which made the game intriguing. Now, that curiosity is gone. I think Bloxburg should go back to being a paid game, even though it might be embarrassing. They should follow the "Adopt Me" strategy by releasing frequent, exciting updates and advertising them well. Updates could include better job and skill rewards, a map revamp that keeps the Bloxburg vibe, and occasional adding of more building items. As the final update before making it free again, they should introduce fun new skills like programming and sculpting. The programming skill should be immersive, teaching very basic coding and allowing players to create small games on in-game computers, which they can upload for others to play. This will attract creative players and provide new content for RU-vidrs. After building up excitement and a strong community, they can make Bloxburg free again, explaining how removing the pay wall benefits their old players as well as new, like how we need RP-ers in bloxburg. That's what I think, at least. RP-ers and builders are both crucial for the game. Without either, it would be hard for Bloxburg to truly be BLOXBURG.
The whole reason Bloxburg probably fell in numbers is because they thought you only have to pay once to get into the game and there's no game passes, but found out its kind of impossible to build without the game passes and Blockbux (Blockbux needed for plots, game passes needed to move things, scaling and rotating, etc...)
as an old bloxburg player i’m glad it went free!! some people aren’t as fortunate to get robux and have been waiting so long to play this game. it makes me sad that old players could be so rude to new ones..
I'm new, and yes, they can be kind of mean, or nice. There are people who put up signs saying, stay out new players, and also ones that greet me! It's nice to hear other people's opinions and share mine.

I remember I saw a new player and gave her a cake because of all the backlash I wish that the earlier players were a little nicer to the new people. Like with the 25 robux, maybe their parents wouldn’t buy them robux,, or maybe they didn’t want to pay the 25 robux and wanted to save it. I do think that the newer players deserved better.
Yeah I think some of the jokes were funny like needing electric fences I think we needed them before though as I would have people begging. But new players haven’t really done much it’s more the developers making the changes and doing it too soon.
9:49 just for more info, the bloxburg town revamp (this most likely changing up the map a bit, without changing many buildings) was delayed as marhi stated in a discord post. This implys that the game going free was when this change would occur. But they soon realized it needed a bit more tweaking, and they wanted to hit there summer deadline. So that’s when they made it free.
5:53 I feel another way to do it IF they want to have a town in the middle is too have plots around the town (like a couple on top of the mountains and maybe a couple on the each of the sides) just so it feels more lively and uses up the empty space that the map has Edit: I realized that they gonna have bigger servers so its not an empty map (maybe like 20-25?)
I think Bloxburg going free was the worst thing they could ever do... Old players are angry at the community managers because they aren't saying anything to us. The community managers are ignoring the community, like, it's as if they don't exist. They don't care. And tbh, I feel that Bloxburg is more beta now than before.

As a new bloxburger i gave up well not actually like like 2 days ago i started playing again after a month of not playing and i don't play the game often anymore what makes me bored is the lack of communication between others, less people, when i was a little kid i always wanted to play bloxburg only because of roleplaying but in reality It became free a month ago and i have already lost interest.
I feel like Bloxburg is like a "pay to enjoy" kind of game. All other things aside, the gamepasses are one of the most limiting parts of the game. Not only are they expensive, but it's hard to have fun without them. I think new players are just frustrated that they legit can't build as freely as they originally thought. I mean even placing certain items is impossible to do without a gamepass. Don't even get me started on intersecting objects lol. Anyways, I really hope Bloxburg can turn things around because I miss the way it used to be! :) Great Vid Btw!
I honestly love bloxburg, i dont roleplay much anymore because i love being creative & building. the roleplay in chat used to always keep me entertained if building got boring. I think maybe some updates for roleplayers may bring the game a little life back, like removing fainting or adding a school. Just things that may help or improve roleplays
I grew up playing bloxburg. The reason I loved it so much was because you could be creative with everything and also do many fun rps. You worked for ur money, and the servers were really kind and lots of rps happened. The thing that I also liked about it was that it had a really great community, and lots of youtubers made videos playing it. I wish I was grateful for how good bloxburg was then. 2020-2022 were prime years of bloxburg, it went from 550k-900k to 25k. The new owners of bloxburg ruined it and turned it into a basic game, then just left us to pick up the scraps.
The chat being dead in free bloxburg isn't true because whenever you join a random server in a game, it looks like people are starting to finally chat in the chat box but in reality people have already been chatting it's just roblox canceling out the previous live chat on your screen
They are just jealous that their mother won't let them use her money to get robux. Trust me I went through the same exact thing multiple times on that game
I’ve been new to this game for about 2 weeks, an old friend from School told me about it, I haven’t met a single mean player either, everyone is really nice, 1 guy on day 3 of my gameplay even gifted me 10k after we toured our houses

I always had robux but I never wanted to get the game so when it went free I decided to try it so I liked it and started playing someone said they would help me build a house I gave them 20k to help me and they took it and said lol you got scammed so I decided to just quit it cuz there were to many toxic players

Ok ok ok there are some reasons that there are not as much people playing bloxburg So there are a few qualities that a game should have. I feel like a game should update once a month at least but bloxburg has bearly updated the update that they made is kinda useless I was things they could had a big water park for the summer update but no they added like a food place 2. Bloxburg should listen to there players so for example lots of people are saying they want a map revamp they should make a revamp but no they didn’t
When I joined bloxburg and it was in 2019 there were so many roleplays, Helping and driving cars with strangers and these stuff and that was fun! And now there is no roleplays, no helping just pure working and building unless you join an neighborhood and there you can find roleplays which I find kind of good bc I can roleplay with someone but often with these roleplays on these neighborhoods is that there is “no place in the house left” or “sorry we don’t need another kid” when bloxburg became free many new players joined which is good for the game visits but not for in-game experience bc the new players only builds and are in work. And I think if bloxburg should become better they should add like a server with the name “Roleplay server” or something like this for the people to enjoy that game and for now bloxburg is on the border with boring and fun.

i think another reason the new players aren’t sticking around is that most of them are really young and don’t understand how to build or even play the game properly despite the tutorial, and them being young would also explain why they don’t have roblox.
plus, people like me and almost everyone that bought it at first most likely bought better moods to not walk slower and stuff. but the thing im mad about is that the walking and smell lines still work but i feel like better moods should impact fainting even a little bit like slower fainting or just not fainting for better moods. i regret buying it when im fainting all the time now.

I think another reason why new bloxburgers don't like the game as much is because when they join assuming that they are not able to get robucks the game is not as fun as without adavced placement or multiple floors, they don't really like building because with out advanced placement there houses don't look the best compared if they watched bloxburgers on youtube build a house and it looks pretty realistic because they have advanced placement, and fit second floors, lets be fr most people have two or more floors so there going to want two floor but again that cost roblox. I agree with her reasons besides the neighborhoods combined I just think that it looks more realistic but the map of bloxburg is just too spaced out and they amount of space they still have is unbelievable like for example where you put like the ice skating rink and and stuff next to the mountain they could add sooooo much and lots and lots of other places to including up on the hills, they could add more stores like an hospital that could turn into a job. And I also don't agree when the made the jobs equal payment because the level you have does not even matter any more.
I personally feel like the equal payment does make a bit of sense. In the sense that other jobs aren’t played as much or at all due to everyone once working at only the pizza job due to it paying more which made the other jobs kinda just there, useless basically…BUT, I do agree on the fact the developers need to fix it again and make it where if you have a high enough level, it will increase the pay by an good enough percentage. I don’t even know if excellent employee still has a purpose ever since that update, but if it doesn’t then I hope they fix it as well and they also increase the pay level, only with greater benefits since it’s a game pass.
I am a early bloxburg player and no one ever role plays anymore neighborhoods aren’t always full and the player amount dropped. I feel like because of the fainting and bills update it’s been dead. Everyone now just works or builds 🤷♀️.
I had a friend start after it was free and said the tutorial didn't help and they don't know what to do its to complicated and boring, I've been playing science 2021 and I don't mind it being free except they keep begging for cash or begging me to build them a house that cost me 400k and they only have 4k, that's the annoying part...
they need to get rid off all the annoying things from the game: making ur bed, having to actually cook food, having to pick up trash, having to take care of plants. bloxburg used to be so fun but those little things ruined it and made it tedious to play
Everything you said is the reason I quit. So toxic,less updates, and sometimes bad ones. But I recommend berry ave. They do a lot of updates like 2 times of month sometime and a lot of people in there are friendly,funny! And if you like to rp there is a world thing that you click and search what type of rp and then you join a server! so that’s why I switched to berry ave!
i used to love bloxburg, especially because i could read chats like roleplays, fights, or just simply conversations to laugh to myself about. i used to also have an even playtime in working, building and roleplaying but tbh in early 2023 i kinda stopped playing as much because the chats were dry or non-exsistent and tbh i never was the best builder anyways and i had nobody to troll or rp with and even more recently i can't even do anything in the game unless i work, and i have to do the burger job now instead for good money instead of my beloved pizza job that i maxed out 😔i miss the old bloxburg.

Honestly, in my opinion, Bloxburg hasn’t been listening to their community as much when it comes to updates. People are saying they want schools, hospitals, etc. The burger shop was okay, but wasn’t necessarily what most of the players wanted. In a case of inconsistency with good updates.

No, this is crazy. i know some people need breaks sometimes after DOING things, but the devs gave us little to no updates, aqnd said “ we are taking a break” i personally think we need a community to basically have a place to type our update ideas and devs will pick an idea. so that the game could be better. Like, “Renovate the town!” Who thought changing the job payments were a good idea? “ Hey guys, lets piss of our players and make their levels in jobs, pay less!” I know this comes off as ungrateful, or not really bc im just upset. We need better updates, and as the most requested updates happen, we are good. the fact they update EVERY MONTH is just.. boring. i like Some of the updates, but just not most of them because they are upsetting. I like how the game is free to new people. But people are mean to them. And the fact the new owner of bloxburg got less than 20m dollars, shows how boring its getting.
Rps are dead in the new bloxburg, i have went in bloxburg to earn money and rp, i usually try to rp with one of my friend and try to find new players who would be interested, but they all r either in buildmode or they dont bother 😢

As a new player l don't feel welcomed by the og players one of them recently deleted my starter home when l earned enough money for a mini house and l think they are very stereotypical about new players would be doing but think they are overly dramatic and my friends and l decided to quit already after 3 days it really made me sad because l have been wanting to play for a long time but they js think we're freaks and saying they should add an electric fence update or execute us as a festival which l think is js cruel and bullying for no reason now we're known as noobs :/
I agree with everything except the electric fences that’s something i still want not cause of new players I wanted them before it wasn’t free but for the beggars as it gets annoying after a while.
Also the way everytime I work I be fainting only after a few minutes and I gotta keep using my blox bucks that I have. Then soon I faint and I lose some of the money that I made, it gets me irritated and it’s definitely a motivation killer fr. Then the community seems so quiet, bloxburg is literally turning into a dystopian game. They need to do something about this. If someone says “Bloxburg is trying to be more realistic” I don’t think I would be fainting irl like that.
Part of the reason i think they have plots in separate little neighborhoods is lag. Imagine the sheer amount of frame lag you'd get, especially on lower end devices like phones and tablets, if every single building was in one area. Especially when people are crazy and have those plots using up half or more of the data % (like towns or hotels or schools etc). It'd be even worse if there were more people per server. I do think its a good idea to expand server size, but if they do that it'd be good to have those separate neighborhood areas. Helps with the lag, I don't see much of a problem with it (lots of games do it like rocitizen)
I'm honestly mid about the new update I need them to make a school, I don't mind the new players its just people have been asking for a school for so long and they're focused on other things while at one point I did think new players would be a complete downfall... Honestly I think just renovating the map wont change anything, because there is so many other games that are like what bloxburg is trying to be. I think they should try to be different, honestly trying to be like the sims was good, it's a super popular game for a reason. If our skills could allow us to do work from home and the more skilled you are the more money you earn it would 1- give you a reason to level up 2- bring you money, everyone likes that 3- give players more motivation to build and feel more rewarded to do so, so they can work from home in their little desk, while they roleplay 4- allow you to work and roleplay at the same time they could do that for painting, programing, writting and crafting They need to finish the skills, finish the jobs, revamp the map (but shouldn't make it too big and big buildings should have npc to not give off a creepy distopian vibe like a lot of games do) and if they want to get money they can do super detailed furniture pact that are like 50 robux or give new gamepasses with new purpose because I know a lot of people would buy it, me included and I think that's why we got the transform tool in 2022, because the game was being bought
I agree with certain stuff, coffee stain is great although it feels like they're almost letting this games player count go downhill and not doing anything about it, for example their last update was about food and festival stuff, which if the game had anything else done to it that would have released with the update, but no it has not. Which means they must be only starting their "map revamp" (if there even is one) Or they have no plans to start it yet.

The game is still in beta and was not ready to be free. The map SUCKS like badly compared to almost every other rp game. The only reason I haven’t switched to RoVille is the characters and I would have to buy game passes all over again. And like you mentioned we need way more players in a server. I understand that it would glitch if there are a lot of mansions but I’m sure they could figure it out.
To be honest the game has been falling since before coffee stain bought the game yes BUT when players found out about this new ownership everyone was scared the game would flop but also interested in if they would be getting better and more frequent updates and we were for a good amount of time until they added the fainting and towing bills along with having all the jobs pay equal.. then when everyone hated it and got mad at the devs for doing this they spoke up and basically bloxburg did nothing, all they did was add the big blue parking boxes around the areas and thats not what anyone wanted. then they teased a new map revamp and we are yet to get it so this anger from the community is very built up and the devs taking a break was the icing on the cake to the overall community being unsatisfied and mad with the direction the game is going in

If you bought premium you'd have money and robux, meaning people with premium with intention to play bloxburg would already have robux to pay for it, meaning removing the paywall doesnt affect premium payouts. More players means more people would buy the gamepasses wouldn't make sense either, as f2p wouldn't buy gamepasses or dev products, as they wouldn't pay for it anyways.
True... As a new bloxburg player but a gloxburg community member keeping up with bloxburg for years now, when i join the server i alsways say 'can i get a hello in the chat' to make peopple interact and socialise with each other 😄
i acted like i was new to bloxburg in a server and was asking for help with building, i got 5 people saying how stupid i was and getting bullied. It sucked
Idk but it's literally ridiculous how they claimed that the new players would ruin the game but then they go ahead and delete the new player's houses as if they want the game all to themselves it's selfish af💀
@@Aaron-ms5bl yup, the older players are asking the newer ones if they could "build" the newer players houses but they actually just trash them and delete them.
I don’t know if this is true, but this is what I’ve heard from people and what I have been saying Blocksburg wasn’t actually going to be released for free, but the new dab decided to release it early. I guess because they could but the original owner we don’t know when they were actually going to physically release it soand he got money for it. If anybody doesn’t know, I think he was a college student. It was a lot for him.
Another reason is that bloxburg tried to appeal to everyone but ended up appealing to no one. It didn’t appeal to the old players because now there are a bunch of (I’m sorry) noobs in the servers, the chat is dead, from the previous update they are being paid less, fainting and towing (is that how u spell it lol) but it doesn’t appeal to the new players because there are a bunch of pros at the game, it’s gonna take them forever to get good, and they are being bullied. Bloxburg also was iconic for being pay to play, it was special and stood out amongst other games. If you played it (and this is just a human brain thing) you felt superior because you paid for the game, you did extra steps to get to playing the game so now you are more attached to it and you want to use your robux you spent on it. But now it’s free and it just feels like an unfinished, regular game. It’s no longer special. And back to the old and new players, the old players aren’t going to want to buy anymore gamepasses or money because they either have enough or they don’t want to play the game anymore and new players aren’t going to have any robux to buy stuff. Another reason why new players left is because they have no robux for the gamepasses and the game is really annoying to play without them. (Sorry this was long lol)
i miss roleplaying in bloxburg so much. the devs have added so many updates that players don’t like and it’s mainly why i stopped playing. the whole fainting thing and not making even close to as much money from pizza delivery as before has left me so demotivated to work for money anymore. there’s no one to talk to in that game because everyone is just building or working and it feels so dead.
As I'm an essential of bloxburger, I still play it often but the chat... I TS SO DEAD and i sometimes they never even talk. I always see people bullying new players and it's just not right
