This future Trunks became my favorite character in the show because he was the most unique of all the saiyans. All of them, Goku, Vegeta, and gohan, at multiple points in time would get cocky and let their power go to their heads. But trunks was not raised into that kind of Saiyan culture. He took every threat seriously and would not ever underestimate his opponent.
Since Trunks was the ONLY fighter left and because there are no more Dragonballs in his timeline (so no room for error), he coudn't afford to be cocky about fighting his enemies. He was wise for dispatching them as soon as possible. Vegeta is almost always cocky when he fights and has the habit of overestimating himself. Gohan had flashes of arrogance as well in the series, and it costed him. Goku is always certain of himself and if he comes across as cocky sometimes, he can mostly pull it off.
he has vegetas whit and trash talking haha... but his human side just let's him stay focus on the situation instead of getting carried away with the thrill of battle..

Nah, Vegeta is cocky and likes to antagonize his opponents, and sometimes underestimates them. This almost always comes back to bite him in the ass. Trunks doesn't play that shit.

Yeah it does... His timeline was a wasteland, right. But was he buffed? No. He got buffed when he was in the present time, with plenty of food (unless he was around that black hole for food called Goku).
It actually makes some sense when you think about it. But they had plenty of time before Black appeared, one might assume they were able to re-build civilization before Black.
Trunks is just so HOT in the Bojack movie; the ripped sleeves, buff bod, and long hair😍 along with his grit, ferocity, and integrity. He is just as attractive on the inside as he is on the outside. Definitely a prince in my eyes 👑
Future trunks unlike all the other saiyans, and quite frankly anyone strong in dragon ball, doesn’t draw out fights and actually gets shit done quickly. That’s why I like about him the most
The parallels between Gohan and Trunks are interesting. Both are half saiyan, half human. Both are royalty, though through different sides of their ancestry and different species. But ultimately, Gohan seems more like a saiyan than a human, and Trunks is more like a human than a saiyan. Gohan has saiyan-black hair, Trunks gets his from his human half. Gohan fights because he wants to, at least later on. Trunks fights because he doesn't have any other options. But despite their differences, they're both two of the biggest badasses in the series.

Let me paint you a picture it's the early 90's dragon ball z just got done with the Frieza arch, we whiteness do the most climatic battle of all time in witch a saiyan had to fofill a prophecy and become a legoned. We watched him struggle in vein agenst this tyrants power until eventuly he was defeated. Fast forward a few weeks later we get to word that the worst dictator in the universe and his father are coming to earth to destroy it and with Goku gone there is no hope. And then this kid show me up confident and prideful and slices Frieza and his dad into Swiss cheese. My boy cut Frieza up in more pieces that we could count in a Instent. Future Trunks is a badass end of story Need I say more?
I love how when Future Trunks threatens Frieza that he only has five minutes to live, he means it and doesn’t putz around for five or six episodes like Goku did when Frieza threatened him with that same timeframe.
Please refrain from talking shit about things you don't understand. I know it's hard for you to imagine that Frieza said five minutes for a reason, but at least acknowledge the fact that you don't have the knowledge to talk about such things. There's actual science that goes to explain why it took longer for Namek to explode. Based on physical evidence that we can witness and see with our eyes, Namek was most likely denser than a lot of the other planets Frieza has blown up. Once his blast didn't immediately cause as much damage as it usually does on weaker planets, Frieza realized that it will take longer for his blast to actively affect Namek. He told Goku that it would only still take five minutes because he assumed that knowledge would make Goku rush, in an attempt to finish the battle before the planet explodes. Thus, in his hast he would most likely slip up and fight slowly, giving Frieza that much more of an advantage. Obviously, Frieza's plan didn't quite work out. But it still shows how much of a tactician Frieza really is, how smart he can be when it benefits him. So I'll say it again, quit shitting on things you don't understand. Class dismissed.

Future trunks was the best ironically because he didn't have his father in his life so vegeta never had the time to belittle trunks or mess him up mentally as a fighter. Plus future trunks never seen the many upon many pride loses that vegeta took on the battlefield so he never had a reason to not won't to be stronger than vegeta. Last but not least his trainer was son gohan son of goku so future trunks has a little Korin, kami, roshi, piccolo and king Kia in his training regimen not to mention the fact that in the future him and gohan are the only warriors and when gohan died he is the sole warrior fighting life or death battles all by himself. This is why future trunks was a badass💪🏾👍🏾
Lets not forget Future Trunks took the longest, hardest tormenting L's anyone has taken in DBZ history. Vegetas 10 minute pride loses were nothing compared to Trunks. Villains took over the planet Trunks lived on and killed almost everyone he knew and loved and there was absolutely nothing he could do about it. Talk about pride humbling. There is no evidence that Vegeta would have messed him up as a fighter or belittled him, actually it's the opposite. The second Kid Trunks showed even the slightest bit of interest in fighting, Vegeta immediately began to train him. When we saw Vegeta with Future Trunks he hadn't learned how to be a father yet. Kid trunks is every bit as cool as Future Trunks if not more so. The reason Future trunks seemed so cool was because every time we saw him he was soooo much stronger than everyone he fought. He was able to act cool and have good lines because he was going to back it up without question. Dude was one hit KOing everything with the exception of the MAIN timelines android ark. When we first saw him he was talking to Frieza the most built up Villan in the history of the show like he was a nobody. Who couldnt love that? He never would have acted like that to the Androids of his timeline before he time traveled. Otherwise he would have been just like Hercule, all bark and no bite, unable to back anything up looking stupid to everyone. It's impossible not to like Future Trunks.
Now if only DBS had done him justice by actually pairing him with a fresh, new, age-appropriate female saiyan badass who was more his equal instead of recycling a lame, pre-existing, powerless, drab human chick older than his parents for that role. #ReplaceMai #SaiyanGirlsDoItBetter.

You know what I don't understand? In dokkan battle's story, Trunks struggles fighting against Raditz, Nappa, Turles, First Form Frieza, etc. He doesn't even go super saiyan. Within that same story, he manages to survive or hold his own against Majin Buu, Broly, and Cell.

The episode in which we first see trunks v feiza is the best episode in Dragonball z always blew my mind and always my favorite since first watching it, I'm glad the animation is the best there.

I wished Trunks was human. The son of Bulma and Yamcha, have him trained by Gohan and learn his signature movies and be strong enough to take down Freeza. TheAsianpage gohan hasn't trained in years after the cell saga, and the only time he trained again was only like a couple of days because of the tournament, trunks never stopped training so he's stronger than gohan was when he fought cell
