The Reasons Why Gachatubers Are Quitting Gacha: . . . (THIS VIDEO IS JUST MY PERSONAL OPINION. PLEASE BE NICE) ALSO, Feel Free To Put your Opinion too About Why Do You think This Happens!
I can agree on the first part because there are times that we need to focus on our personal life to avoid any distractions. In my situation, it's kinda difficult to balance my personal life and making gacha videos so I need a good time management to keep it organize as possible. And also even though I'm 19, I still continue on making it despite all the hates that I got before and keep moving forward. It means that I'm not quitting on doing what I like but it will always come to an end. Only time can tell when will that happen.
true, a lot of gacha tubers who leave, leave because of the fandom too, people drawing inappropriate fanart , the hate they get from people in and out of the fandom and a lot dont wanna be associated with such a toxic fanbase
And some people have things that are happening in their personal lives that cause them to quit as well. I quit cause of my personal life and hate from random people on social media
I was one of the gacha user and I left the community for good. If your asking why Here are the reasons : *Stealing edits as a JOKE* *doing gacha nsfw* *doing gacha heat* *kids getting mad over something small* *stealing edits and claim themselves famous when they don’t care how the og artist feels* *kids think that they are the superior* *kids accusing the og artist for stealing arts when they just posted late* *ships sensei x student* *making inappropriate pose* *making abu$e as a trend* (The community is toxic)
@[卐]Lakehuntist ⸜⁄ cool, no one asked but, have fun with your "greatest RU-vidr" title with no uploads at the time this was posted and your hate videos on alt channels
Another thing is how they are getting made fun of for it being “cringe” or “childish” so they quit doing it. Sad Sad things that people say to one another…
relatable! Its sad seeing many gachatubers and friends quit, I miss many of them. I’m not planning on quitting any time soon but yeah it’s gotten a bit boring. Just sharing some things that “unmotivate” me to make videos.. 1) stupid or weird videos made from people who use gacha 2) Seeing those TikTok compilations taking others videos and getting all the views and subscribers 3) All the work I have to do to make a video, and not reach my expectations.. 4) The amount of people who’ve said the forgot me only 2 weeks after I hadn’t posted 5) me lazy 👁️👄👁️ So yeah that’s just my experience with Gacha so far! But it’s really fun to see others enjoy my videos! Just sometimes the rude or yucky comments get to me a bit! 😅 Ok this got off topic anyways 🚶🏻♀️
bro I so agree with you, the same goes with those pov short yt shorts- it isnt helping ;-; but yea I especially agree w number 3, like when you ork so hard on smth just to get less than 1k views on it is kinda heartbreaking but ig if u dont hve fun w making it just lay back for a bit until u do .v.'
Yeah, I feel that. As someone who just turned 18 last month, currently pushing through my senior year of high school, it is hard to juggle a YT channel and my work at the same time, along with extracurriculars like joining Journalism Club and having flag football practices after school, along with working on college apps. I also just signed up for culinary classes as another extracurricular activity, because I’ve been interested in looking into new interests. It’s not easy, but I try to manage uploading as much as I can, whether it’s my Gacha content or my virtual reality content, but sometimes, it’s not easy to add that into my priorities. Even more added to that, I made a second YT channel where I post Nightcore content and juggling that with my first channel is just a nightmare, but I wanted to separate that content. At the same time, it just adds to the pressure of “What can I get done?” I remember last year I posted a lot, but it interfered with junior year with all my studies and stuff, especially taking AP classes and stuff. I had to learn going into this school year to figure out my priorities and focus on my channel after. So now, I don’t even upload as often just so I can get through school, but normally I’m able to upload more during breaks and vacations. Luckily as a senior, sometimes my school gives them advantages like having more breaks than the rest of the school, and we get out of school a week early before the rest of the school (at the end of the school year). By second semester, it’ll be a breeze when college apps are over and I get accepted into one, but I still will have to focus on juggling my extracurriculars and school, with my RU-vid channel, but hopefully it’ll be easier with one thing out of the way.
your dedication to wrwiting this is wow- hope senior year is going well !! ^^ also I feel you as well, and Im also juggling schoowork- sometimes without motivation for gacha I just dont do schoolwork all tgt because im just tried and burnt out ;-; so im trying but i hope ur case is getting better :) I saw some of your gacha content, seems nice !! ^^
@@cozychlochlo Thanks! And yeah, I absolutely get that. The burn out can hit hard sometimes, but things are getting a bit better. Hopefully I'll get back into posting soon when the school year ends so I have more time to put in thought.
The reasoning for gacha club not being updated is because Luni actually lost the files of Gacha club. Gacha club has (I'm pretty sure) gotten updates when it first came out. Like you would get rewards and stuff each update
That has been said for literally every other gacha game that at this rate it can't be true. What game developer loses game files of 4 games and has no backups cause I can't name another developer losing files like that, pretty sure it's just some random excuse
@@theexoticmango3783 Idk it might be or he is somehow losing those files through computer changes or them corrupting or smt- If he is doing it on purpose that he doesn't want to update a game so he instead makes a new one is also werid too. Like making an entirely new game is harder than updating a different one
It was so depressing when I finally made the decision to quit Not only gacha but my whole channel itself Before I quit I had already lost many of my gacha friends and then I lost myself As you said in the video Nothing lasts forever Something has to end and we should be prepared for it Now that I see my videos of mep and collabs with my friends I feel heart broken by imagining how amazing those golden days were Now the life is very simple but yet very boring..
Theres another reason too, people getting harrassed by non gacha users that gacha is "cringe" whether it be online or irl I had to explain to my friend that its like a tribute to my 5th grade self when i was happy back then and had dreams of becoming a famous gachtuber. He understood why and doesn't care about it anymore, he knows that i like to try to make my past dreams somewhat happen On the other hand i cannot say it outloud at school or in class cause people think negitivity about it- which i understand why people leave in those cases I just wanna say, if your leaving cause some other people around you don't think it's cool or worth looking at and is 'cringy' just ignore. They have no place to judge cause they probably 99% haven't dared playing it. Just know that you should do what *you* want to do, not based on others opinions! You don't gotta upload constantly, I'm in highschool but i like to upload every few weeks or months and its like a stress reliever in a way! *just know there isn't just 1 way to use it* You may wanna quit but just know that whatever you want you can do without anyone telling you otherwise
@@SuchSweetChaos i understand that, this comment was mostly targeting towards people who feel like they need to quit because of others opinions I see why you look back and cringe- can't help but do the same to my work haha
It’s really sad to see gachatubers leave… I understand it’s their choice but there’s been so many leaving lately. About a year ago there was this legend of zelda gachatuber and it basically broke my heart when they deleted all their videos and left. He was my total favorite of all time. It’s still sad to think about but I have a different favorite now.
You forgot the part where big Gacha tubers do something controversial, usually because their power and fame got to their head, and it stresses everyone out because fans will constantly be bugging their other favorite content creators, going "HeY! wHaT dO yOu ThInK aBoUt BlAh BlAh BlAh"
I only quit because when I opened up gacha one day, it glitches & they randomized everything on the character & all the characters were the same, causing random tabs to open for it. Also from what I could see the character was saying "Bug" & I spent a long time on tons of my characters. (Some I never even got to use :/) and it honestly was already a horrible & stressful day that day so I ended up crying.
I wanna understand: wise fox you literally have the funniest thumbnails ever and the other characters in the thumbnail would just wear anything random it’s so funny! That’s the best fact of wise fox!! Edit: had to fix some typos!!
With Luni lacking updates, it's getting better and better than more gacha mods are coming around. I'm noticing that a lot of them are copying each other tho, so I'm about ready to learn how to make one myself.
In my personal opinion I think it’s because of the ongoing harassment to gacha tubers, since the r/gachacringe RU-vidrs are growing and they only show the bad part so many people will think “Oh I guess everyone in the gacha community is bad no matter the quality and hard work that ended up in that video” so they try to get rid of it in a stupid way which is harass and send death threats.
I've been on the fence between staying in the gacha community and possibly quitting. Also there's one last reason...its very tragic,, people killing themselves, gacha is getting more and more hate every day. And I'm not even 12 yet so im trying my best to avoid that. (Getting hate or killing myself.)
Ideas: 1. You can draw your own hair and hats or accessories 2. Draw your own clothes before you say “but gacha heats!” All the clothes you draw will me moderated so people can’t just go around willy nilly drawing bad stuff That’s all I have for now.
I haven't posted a real gacha video for like 6 months due to life happening but that's life after all I'm a 20 year oldish woman gacha can't be everyone's top priority though good work for all the people being able to post videos in general with all that life throws at you so good on you 👏 👍 💖🥳
@@Brownie_official1928 Wow. I didn't expect to someone replying to this one year old comment, I haven't quit gacha oficially, I still use it but I don't upload gacha videos since January 2023 BTW I speak Spanish (I'm from Mexico) so my videos are in Spanish, but if you don't speak Spanish that's fine.
One more.. Some gacha tubers (Like me) quit because they aren't getting any attention. It's pretty sad. I now know how it feels when you earn 50 or more subscribers and the next day probably 2 or 3 unsubscribes. It's really sad.
I’m not quitting yet because I still love gacha but when it gets boring I will stop playing( probably ). Well some of my friends think gacha is cringe and it really annoys me,but I do have other friends who are okay with me liking gacha, I don’t even publish my videos I only show them to my friends and family they find them funny but I’m not showing my friends who think it’s cringe,I still like gacha and no one but me can change that.
I'm still amazed how Robin is still in Gacha Community, kudos to you my brave soldier ❤️ I was a gachatuber before, it was overwhelming so I change my content to creating a WIT story. That one is also pressuring, I ended up on a longer hiatus for quite a while now to change my content again in the near future (still dealing with mental health problems.... I can't do it in this unhealthy state) edit: I still have my fans anyways, I just told them I need a rest from uploading due to family problems and they all didn't unsubscribe. I was surprised cause most people will have their subscribers went down, I guess I'm lucky enough that they wait for me until I get better
I am 18 and plan on staying in the gacha tuber community until I die. That is a promise I plan to keep throughout all the bullying, harassment, personal life and the algorithm being upset with me
Another reason is because of all the hate, I started posting gacha videos when I was 8-9 and I didn't know how to deal with hate, so I was thinking about quitting, a few weeks later I saw my old gacha idol talk about hate and how to ignore it, and now I'm 15 still making videos slowly losing motivation. anyways, the point is; don't let others hate on you, and be nice but don't let people walk over *YOU* either, you will make it someday, take advice from other gacha editors (if they do give you advice) practice editing as long as you can, but most importantly focus on *YOU*, focus on your personal life and focus on school, remember you do not have to post every second for your followers/subscribers, make sure you can study too, play with your pets! *(if you have any)* take care of your self :) -julia (and yes i did use Grammarly for this)
Some also leave because of all the hate they been getting. So many of my favorite gacha tubers have been leaving because of all the hate on gacha. I never mention gacha to my friends because my class hates it
Thank u , actually my friend and I are trying to start a gacha channel too but we are having problems 😭💀( lol like I'm literally planing a skit for a gacha meme rn and doing an history asinment at the same time
I actually quited gacha some months ago and the reason why I did this was, beacause i simply just growed out of my gacha phase and I no longer think that making gacha videos are fun. I only maked gacha vidoes back then beacause I thought it was fun but it's just not fun anymore. So I stopped making vidoes beacause I didn't wanna do something I didn't want to but still I'm thankful that my fans supported me in my adventure in making videos. Robin was right about somethings he said in this video, some people just get bored of gacha and they have their personal life. My friends that are also gachatubers have been saying that they are thinking of quiting beacause of their personal life and all of these things are accurate. Despite all of that robin is right, Nothing lasts forever, one day you just have to go and be a real person and turn to you're own way, even if you're fans don't want you to quit it's just you're choice if you want to or if you don't want to. Did you ever just stop and think, "what am I doing?" it's not like anyone is forcing you to do this. I think I growed out of my gacha phase too early because I lost interest in making vidoes before all of my friends and my sister makes gacha vidoes but she didn't quit. One of my friends are really busy with their personal life but they still try to upload daily, and that's there choice so I support them. But if I had to deal with my personal life I would stop making vidoes beacause of how busy I am. Not even one time did I think that I would "quit" and now look at me, I quited and I'm happy with my decision. Thank you for reading my comment and that's all. Have a good day, goodbye now.
I have been in gacha for for 4-5 years and im atill not board Edit: Look i know its hard for small channels to grow and keep your Sub's happy but look were in this together were in the same camotenty and we all stick together so don't let your dreams down the rabbit hole just keep trying❤❤❤
I used to be a gachatuber 1 year ago,but i quitted for these reason: -i got too much hate -my fans were getting bored of my videos, even if i tried my best to make them funny and/or exciting -my ex-bestie which i used to be close with her,is now with another person who was also my friend,a cold, friend -i ended up losing everything,so i started being dramatic with my fans and my friends, which they all care less, meaning, all of my fans are fake,so are my ex-friends...but there's only one person who was there with me,a true friend, which he is not like the other people i lost!! And that's all,i used to be a gachatuber, but not anymore...
Bro please do not leave the gacha community you can join in the fun anytime you want but mostly focus on Minecraft and games until then just stay and do not leave
I feel like quitting too since not getting any views on my gacha videos. People in gacha community only support big gacha youtubers and not us small gacha youtubers who works hard to make amazing content sadly. That is why small gacha youtubers like me leave the youtube
0:40 and now there's gacha life 2, yes it's getting updates frequently but their probably just gonna leave it like they did with all the other gacha games.
I love the new wave of Gacha tubers tho, it’s nice seeing them go from wtf to Better to Pro? Like how we did but since they have Gacha club and unlimited adjusting it’s 100x better so they are more creative I’m loving all the new channels and designs people come up with!!
I been watching wise fox years and days even tho I just sub a days ago but since this is my new account it's great to see wise fox is still standing and growing subscribers I'm very happy to see the gacha tubers who made my day turn up instead down wise fox is a great person bc some youtubers and gacha tubers are exposed doing bad stuff but it's been years Noone exposed wise fox yet bc he didn't do anything bad "yet" I'm very scared bc I don't wanna start hating the person who made me happy everyday thank u for making my day everyday every night ur a true gacha tuber bc you stay long and still standing everyday
I really wanted to be a gacha tuber when I was younger and make a mini movies series. Then I guess I sort of lost interest in gacha as a whole, but I really loved the idea of my mini movie series, so much that I’m trying to practice my drawing skills and make a webcomic of it one day. Even though being a gacha tuber never really payed off, I would have never found my new passion without it😌
I quitted bc of social life, I’ve been hearing how people in my class or people in general are saying gacha is cringe, now I’m not saying I quit bc I want to fit in but I’m quitting bc they are right, it’s cringe and very young (as age restrictions), ofcourse anyone can play it at any age but it really bums me out how I’m not able to have a good life or a healthy one without showing the hate for gacha, everyone has to stop playing someday I just simply did it a bit earlier, still I watch gacha but to play it is a bit out of my age experience and the community is getting more toxic each day, not for just gacha but for life in general, so if anything quitting gacha (if u play it) can be 1 of your most best life decisions ever ❤
I totally agree with #3. I’ve had one of my favorite gachatubers QUIT because RU-vid had banned their channel. He made another channel and started to repost and then decided to quit. None of his other social medias has been posting at all ever since. Why did RU-vid ban him? It was supposedly for ñûd!tÿ but his entire channel is just wholesomeness. RU-vid is getting stupider fr.
I hope you never quit you're one of those RU-vidrs that get us girls because most boys don't like gacha club life and more plus you're one of my favorite RU-vidrs! So I hope you never quit
I miss those days of the Gacha community it was just series or just a mini movie, I miss it, nowadays it’s just TikTok compilations of it, I wish good luck for the community and too it’s RU-vidrs.
Bro wise fox’s eyes in the thumbnail be like😂: NoOoOoOo WE NEED SOME GACHATUBERS STILL! “*sings*” 🎶WE NEED A CHIEF AND THERE YOU ARE!! THERE COMES A DAY. WHERE YOU LOOK AROUND AND YOU REALISE HAPPINESS IS WHERE YOU ARE!!😂😂😂
The last big-ish update that Luni did that I remember is when he fixed the fact that when we leave and go back it didn’t save from where you last were and it’s like a couple of seconds ago from where you originally were.
I didn't really quit being a gachatuber but I left and took a break because I low motivation to make video ideas and I'm very busy with school. It's honestly hard to manage my schedule for when will I upload videos again
