Bro I swear he’d win, just because we have to massively highball all of his feats to get it so that it is debatable whether he is planetary doesn’t mean he doesn’t stomp Zeno
Saitama sneezing Jupiter is a huge feat. The strongest sneeze recorded is 12x weaker than an average persons punch. Saitama should, logically speaking, destroy Jupiter 12 times with a single normal punch at the end of his fight with garou. Luffy is barely scratching moon level with his gear 5 transformation.
The comparison is a bit unfair because you are comparing the strongest sneeze with a normal person while Saitama's case would be a normal sneeze with a trained person because Saitama's strength increases proportionally
I dont think luffy would be able to conceive the speed at which saitama moves before being another reason its called "one punch man". I honestly dont know how anyone could unironically think luffy has a chance
nah it is nowhere near close reason is at minimum naruto is roger level, and when you fight naruto you're fighting 10k naruto's that are the same strength as him, and I stg no one in one piece even stands a chance against 2k rogers@@RealComixx
@@RealComixx also naruto in kcm2 sage mode tanked an attack that split the moon in 1/2 and he did so easily, and proceeded to basically one shot toneri who would've survived the moon crashing into the earth, and who was the person crashing the moon onto the earth... some island level threats are NOT doing anything to naruto
@@RealComixx In reality luffy is nowhere near planet level. His best feats you could argue are just continental due to the size of his fist. People use the loose statement of WB's devil fruit to try and scale everyone to planetary but everyone knows that shits a lie. Characters in one piece dont go around fighting with that kind of capability. Only yonko have been capable of completely destroying islands with their best attacks, and admirals altering islands after going all out for several days. Even continental is more of a reasonable assumption rather than something that's outright confirmed.
@@archflamingo9156saitama can touch intangible object and has immense power to his attack to which luffy has never encountered before. Let’s be real here saitama has a minimum of planetary attack. Luffy isn’t even really immune to blunt force. Why do you think you see him wounded and damage from his battles? Saitama who scales higher and has bizarre abilities will one shot luffy. If he doesn’t get one shot he will be thrown out to outspace with saitama’s air pressure alone.
People seem to forget that Luffy’s rubbery stretchyness has a limit. It’s shown in WCI that if Luffy stretches enough, he can break. Since Saitama is so much stronger and faster than Luffy, he should have no problem just ripping Luffy apart.
G5 seems to push or erase that limit. Granted, I do believe it just pushes the limit. But if it was erased... Well normal punches won't work. (But Saitama still wins. I am just adding my take on the limit and saying WCI feats are basically no longer usable )
@@Aluja77 Increased limits doesn't mean infinite. This is a no limit fallacy. It's like how you can't defeat Ganondorf without the master swords in all the Zelda Games prior BoTW.
Your saying this as if it was holding him back no saitama no diffed him and it would never be close even if he only used his eyes he wpuld just blink him out of existence
And it is not that rubber is invincible. Rubber also has a breaking point if applied enough force. So Saitama can just shatter Luffy with one punch if this rule also applies to luffy which I think it does. Because in whole cake island saga Nami stated that if Luffy keeps streching his arms they would be ripped. So Saitama can just one punch Luffy like he always does.
Gear 5 allows him to stretch however he wants and can turn the environment including people into rubber. Without Haki, Saitama will most likely have to use Serious Punch to eliminate Luffy. Other than that its a cat and mouse fight but Saitama will still win though
@@ahmettekin3861 Rubber is a strange choice, but if you don't take physics into account, it sounds fun for use in a manga. But if you think about it, even if we're talking about ideal rubber, it's still easy to destroy and has severe limitations. For once the speed of rubber as it retracts is limited to 50m/s, which is pretty slow in comparison to really anything manga related. And even the best elastomers we have access to, don't stretch more than 10 times before they start to tear. Luffy shouldn't be different, so tearing him apart should work just fine. You just need enough force, or speed. With enough speed, rubber doesn't show elasticity anymore, a bit like a non-Newtonian fluid get crystal-like and shatter, if you move them fast enough. Another possibility would be to cool him below the glass temperature of rubber and shatter him, or heat the rubber untill it starts to degrade and lose it's flexibility for good. Maybe by repeatedly punching the same spot untill it heats up? Or i'm just way too fixated on the real world, and maybe shouldn't argue about the physics in a manga where heating a body over 45°C doesn't leave permanent tissue damage...
@@certainlynotmalo1.0.0 with shattering I mean the point where rubber is not elastic anymore like you said but the sheer energy of Saitama's punch would also heat up Luffy's body maybe even melting him. (Of course this is just physics and prob wouldnt applie to anime logic)
Saitama kicked a portal out of the way, serious table flip literally shattering the moon they were fighting on so that he could “match Garou’s martial arts.” Serious table flip had shattered the moon and the debris created from the force of the flip made 1000’s, possibly millions of little platforms that Saitama moved so fast on, that in an instant looked as if he had jumped across all the debris of the moon. It looked like multiple attacks were coming from Saitama at the same time as if there were multiples of him who were coming at all angles. He punched Garou so hard that the energy created from the punch blew a substantial hole in the universe. As in you can’t even see the light reflected by the stars any longer, because they aren’t there, they’re gone. During the fight Garou is matching Saitama blow for blow by copying him, and as he does so he notices that Saitama power continues growing at a faster rate than his copy ability can even keep up with. Aka you cannot fight Saitama for long, because he’s constantly growing at an exponential rate. Saitama sneezes the gas off of Jupiter revealing the core of the planet. And if all of that wasn’t enough, his reverse causality punch takes the cake. Because of Saitama’s ability to time travel, which he learned and mastered in seconds by the way, he punched Garou right before he started his fight with the hero associates. Saitama wasn’t technically in that universe yet, but Garou got hit punch that in his world so therefore, Garou got hit by a punch that wasn’t even thrown. Good luck Luffy!
I don't entirely think it's fair for Saitama to drown loofy since he's not entirely aware of that weakness. Rather I believe that a punch would still puncture luffy. If a sharp object can bypass Luffy's elasticity via stabbing, it's very likely that it would only take one punch.
When it comes down to the physics of it, a stab is just a very precise punch. It's all pressure over surface area. If the pressure is big enough, a fist can most certainly stab someone.
So here’s the problem with Saitama simply punching through Luffy’s rubber. Luffy’s body doesn’t actually seem to work like rubber. It just seems to do whatever Luffy thinks his body can do. So there is a good chance his normal defence against blunt attacks will still work.
@@scrubzero1735luffy simply bending reality and thinking he’s indestructible wont work since despite the unrealistic ass statements oda made, he has no feats to show hes even capable of doing this. Sure theres the argument that he doesnt know he has the power and doesnt have it “mastered” but in that case he wouldnt know how to use it against saitama unless he just accidentally pulls something that can one shot bro. But realistically luffy is never mastering this ability in the series to that extent of power since it would ruin the series which is why i dont think it’s implied that he can literally just do that, making every fight and even the hunt for the one piece completely useless, saitama bends bro over
@@lokseptic7259 There is also the possibility that Saitama could be immune to Luffy's reality-warping. While I am a fan of OPM, I am not a scholar on the power system. Seemingly, ESP is a type of reality-warping, since Geryuganshoop was able to utilize it to such a great extent that gravity itself was locally changed. Since Saitama is practically completely immune to ESP, it's arguable that Luffy neither could hax Saitama's muscles into rubber and make him weak, nor that he could just decide to withstand Saitama's punch. Tatsumaki, the most powerful (albeit possibly not most skilled) ESPer in the universe, who is constantly shielded by a nigh impenetrable forcefield, would die instantly if Saitama seriously punched her. There is no arguing otherwise. If it came to it, Saitama could definitely just vaporize the earth, since it's doubtful Luffy would consider himself capable of breathing in space. Saitama has no such weakness.
I am more curious to see how would Luffy do against the monster association. He obviously mostly easily beats the weaker ones, but characters like Platinum S. Sage Centipede, EOC and the Pyskorochi fusion would be an interesting matchup.
Honestly, I think the only OPM characters besides Saitama that could tump Luffy would be Boros, Blast, Cosmic Garou (both before and after copying serious Saitama) and God. I think Luffy would defeat everyone else. Someone like Psykorochi or Sage Centipede who relies on physcial strenght and energy beam attacks that seems to be able to split massive landmasses but not destroy planets or anything like that seem similar to Kaido to me, and Kaido took a massive L against G5 Luffy. Though I will admit that I think Platinum Sperm would pose a problem because of his speed (but he would probably not be able to hurt Luffy) and Evil Natural Ocean would similarly not be able to hurt Luffy but would admitadly be difficult for Luffy to actually kill (the girl did survive a SERIOUS punch from Saitama after all, a feat not always fully aknowledged).
like that other comment said with evil natural water could definetly beat luffy i also think tatsumaki could beat him too, being able to launch him into the ocean or space before he can react, luffy has mftl as a reaction speed but other characters like platinum sperm are just way too fast for luffy to live a second against them. same with flashy flash and even monster form garou. they just outspeed him by a lot more not to mention how psykorochi cut a section of the earth off and proceeds to use that same attack many more times i dont think luffy could beat that. even if he could survive it, it would launch him into space. speed is a factor that im not sure you have a grasp of from reacting to it and RUNNING faster then it. @@rattis

People gotta remember that Luffy is not toonforce. He is just applying his rubber properties to the environment like other awakened characters (with the addition of conquerers haki which allows him to have a stronger awakening). As for the goofy expressions that everyone has, lets not forget that One Piece always had goofy characters with goofy expressions even at the start of the manga (with their jaws dropping down like crazy or their eyes popping out), so its nothing exclusive or new to gear 5. So this is a mismatch. As luffy is still following the rules of his series. Saitama's power is to break logic/rules with his brute strength plus he can't be physically damaged from what we know, so it's a pointless match-up.
Yep even if he has toon force its just turning everything to rubber which gives his somewhat accessed to toon force physics but thats it lol Saitama one punch fart can destroy earth while he will die due to no oxygen
People have to realise that all of Saitama's feats have been effortless on his part. He has never broken a sweat or had any signs of being wounded in any way.

The reason is because Luffy doesn't actually know any of that. Only the readers are aware of that statement. He doesn't know what fruit he has or the true power it wields. He was just fumbling around with his fruit trying things out at random.
Luffy : took him a whole year and a half just to learn the basics of haki and he had a teacher Saitama: becomes a better haki master than Shanks and Roger combined just by mimicking Luffy
When did Saitama destroy millions of galaxies? Last I checked, the stars he destroyed or pushed away, could be seen with the naked eye from Earth, which means that they were within the Milky Way galaxy. Saitama is Multi-Solar System level, not Galaxy level, and definitely not Universal.
@@Aelda69btw reason they say Galaxy is because it went outside of the ARE Galaxy so it could have destroyed another galaxy also more evidence there's no light behind it so we wouldn't know if he did or not but he definitely not multi solar
@@just-existing845 If the stars could be seen with the naked eye by characters in the OPM-verse, then they were within the Milky Way. How is Saitama Multi-Galaxy level, but couldn't destroy the Milky Way? Because he is Multi-Star to Multi-Solar System level, and that is with Garou's help, since this was a Serious Punch², meaning that it was the result of Garou's and Saitama's strength, not just Saitama's. This would actually make his feat even less impressive. Now, could Saitama destroy a solar system by himself? Sure. With enough time. But, he cannot do it in one punch, at least not by himself.
Lol, Luffy claps all anime verses. He can do anything with his will. He is literally a god with no weakness. Sea won't work on him because he can erase sea because he can manipulate reality. Not exactly, the only people who think like this are the fans of one pumch man, which is fair due to the feats that saitama has. One piece fans are happy enough to watch peak in peace.
Saitama has double the toon force of Luffy. - Farting to cross half the solar system (MTFL) - Sneezing away Jupiter - Learning to time-travel in minutes - Skull-crushing black holes - Grabbing and kicking cracks in space - Damaging a spiritual dimension by punching - Moving hyperspace gates And he is supposedly just a normal dude with super strength.
@tykothamby5474 genuinely that is how one punch man I'd written tho. It is a gag manga, whatever situation he is win he will pull through no matter what. Not salty about the loss, it was very clear, just thought he was talking about saitama.

A better matchup for Luffy would be against The Mask. and a better matchup or saitama would be either a fellow gag character like Deadpool, OR such an overwhelmingly powerful fictional character like Goku, superman, or Genji
You do have to remember that Luffy is a moron and has only just discovered Gear Fifth, so the idea of him being able to bend reality is still plausible given what the Gorosei state. Not that I'm trying to defend people saying Luffy can win this fight, but just saying, much like Saitama as well, we have NO IDEA of the full potential of these characters powers. For all we know, by the end of each respective manga, each character could be literally multiversal in power, but we won't know until those manga reach their conclusions. I am definitely expecting Luffy to reach a point of breaking the 4th wall at some point in the story using gear fifth and Saitama being at least multiversal in strength.
Alright now thats debatable. Genos is freaking fast and explosive but Gear 5 Luffy is using supreme haki to the extreme and can just reshape his body, environment and even his opponent into rubber. Genos would have a hard time evaluating whats going on and the instant he gets distracted its over
"Luffy wouldn't be gurt cuz he's made of rubber" that doesn't make him immune to blunt attacks. There is always a limit to how much force a material can withstand.

Anytime anyone says that some character can beat Saitama, it just proves they don't understand the definition of the character. Saitama is (by definition) unbeatable and can always win in a single punch if he's motivated enough. Saitama is like infinity while every other character is like a number. It doesn't matter how big the number is, it's still the same as 0 to infinity.
There are way crazier characters than Saitama, but if you are comparing him to one piece then yes he is drastically above that whole world. But there is a vast list of characters outside of one punch man that defeat Saitama very easily.
@@tacoshop7722 That just proves you don’t understand how Saitama is written as a character. It is a character trait of his that he is unbeatable and will always win no matter what. If you name some character that has accomplished feats far beyond anything Saitama has ever shown in OPM, when that character faced Saitama, Saitama would just “try a little harder” and instantly surpass the character in a comedic way. @@danielbrown001 there are so many characters with that same exact trait, and it is even debatable if that even is Saitama’s trait. He is still less impressive than goku, Saint Seiya, Simone, and maybe even Toriko (depending how you scale the ending battle). And that is just other Shonen (not even mentioning Novels or Comics). What makes Saitama so impressive? I feel like you don’t understand the character or do not read/watch many others works. His best feat of strength is destroying maybe a few hundred stars.

Saitama dodges but then like I said Luffy does another attack he wouldn’t notice. Saitama does the big boy punch and luffy blast away but he remembers ace dying cuz of his fails so Luffy goes all out and combined all haki in one punch. Copying saitama and kills him.

@@Musashi337 Hes infinite actually, being galaxy level means you're having a proportional limit of strength on a galactic scale, saitama's limit isn't at galaxy at most since his feat in question is from his self before growth and the limiter theory goes against it of having him not bounded in growth in the first place, his growth being depicted to be in a tan 90 angle shows that if he gets pushed far enough he'd start to get to the realm of infinity, Saitama just had nobody to push him thatswhy against a multi galaxy lvl threat his power only adapted him to that far, he has no limit to his potential so if he finds someone even stronger who pushes him farther he'd transcend even spacetime as an entirety as Genos stated and transcend causality if he has to.
@@Gremlin969 No Cosmic Fear Garou was only a tiny bit stronger then him, and they gradually grew together throughout the fight, Saitama and Garou's punch was not Galactic feat, meaning that at the end of the fight, Saitama could be galactic could not. If he is fighting someone like Goku, even if Saitama grew at the same rate as he did fighting Garou, it would still take an incredibly long time. By the time he DOES reach the level of Goku in base, Goku will just simply go Super Saiyan, and we both know that when Goku realizes Saitama is growing he will be like "Ok I gotten beat him quick" and he will defeat him in an instant. Also Saitama's physical attributes are not infinite, his potential is, because if he really did have "infinite" strength, he would not have to need to grow AT ALL. Saitama would only grow to heights like universal, if he fights an incompetent idiot who spends more time talking instead of fighting, OR if he fights someone with the same growth rate as him, like a clone. The sun has a radius of 696,340, so i estimate the OP world is a bit bigger than half the size of the sun. Its also over 7 times bigger than Jupiter. If whitebeard can truly destroy the world just like sengoku said, that would put him on dwarf star level. All base character like luffy, kaido, yamato, zoro and sanji all scale above him.
