So Ghana knows that it still depends on rain for irrigation and it’s busy destroying all its forests and water bodies for galamsey. Ghana hasn’t seen anything yet.

The government need to build water encatchments and store millions of gallons of water, especially when they have heavy rains and floods . Why not take advantage of the heavy rains, and not wait until the well run dry ..

Bravo! The best decision all Africans must make. Farm products should never be designated for cash.

They should empty their pockets and bank accounts to fund this.

Borrow borrow n share. That's all they know. What happened to irrigation ? This is money that should have been invested in irrigation project. Now they going to borrow, give small portion to the farmers n share the rest. The same problem can happen again nxt yr n they will go borrow from world bank again

The Ghanaian government can't even protect us from galamsey. How are they going to protect us from food insecurity when they're allowing acres of land to be polluted? We have some very unserious people in power.

Citizens need to have money to gain the purchasing power before they can even consider going to the market. A totally new professional scientific study need to be carried out throughout the entire continent.. This must then be followed up with. discussions planning and step by step implimentations rigerously applied under expert. assistance.. This has gone on for far too long ( and I am no spring chicken eitheer) It's a problem of in spite of gass springs everywhere trees are used for cooking thereby turning lands into desert. Many things can be done to reduce and solve much of the problem. It all s out hetting yhe job done properly.
