Ghost will pop up during Tariq’s graduation scene from a distance. With Tariq and Tasha seeing him for a brief couple of seconds before vanishing. Showing that he actually giving them what they want by leaving out of their life for good, sadly for them to come to the realization that they actually need him. 🎯

Hopefully peanut head Tariq starts really feeling the regret for killing Ghost. And, I hope he sees through Tasha's lies.

I believe Tariq will get another letter from Ghost once Tariq graduate from Stansfield saying how proud he is of Tariq.

Their is no way Courtney made the smartest character on Power Universe not come back in some type of way🤔 I believe he's still alive and his lawyer knows it. They could pick up from Ghost prospective starting from his first meeting w/ his lawyer. Ghost was a smart man w/a sharp memory..he even remembered to restore Tommy's ride,Kate, his mother inlaw etc. and the main checkmate, Tariq's journey..he has to earn Ghost's 💰

Ghost gave tariq many opportunities to stay out, I hope the writers show how Tasha and tariq see how dumb they were for not listening

Tariq is learning like how everytime Ghost tried to get out the game something always pulls him back in. The only reason Ghost cheated on Tasha is because she never believed or wanted him going legit but Tariq thought he was breaking up the family.

I hope Peanut Head Riq feels regretful for killing his father, my man James St Patrick/Ghost. Ghost is like the Batman of the Power Universe and he is still making moves from beyond his grave. Can we not actually declare that by virtue of ghost not being in the classroom filled with people Tariq killed and those he had a part in killing, he wasnt in the classroom, rather his phone rang saying dad... One could argue ghost is not dead

I feel like Tariq will continue to have that same dream but with more bodies of whom he has killed. The phone will continue to ring and the pressure to answer will get more intense. He will then start to question why his dad isn’t in that room slowly realizing that his father is not dead. Side note we can’t forget about Ghost’s security guard. He was shown prominently in the last season and hasn’t been seen since.

Tariq talked so tough to his father who wanted nothing but good for him. He always knew his father would never kill Him. He couldn’t even point a gun at Cane for setting him up for 2 murders.

You showing the phone gave me a thought that it could of been an Easter egg for season 3. Tariq hallucinates Kanan. I could see a dream sequence with Tariq talking with James/Ghost over the phone

Tariq actually outsmarted Ghost plan with Yaz being adopted because Tariq got Yaz back with Tasha under witness protection.

I feel like as the season progresses we’re going to see Tariq have a lot of respect for Ghost but when he does I believe Yasmin would know the truth and hate Riq like Riq hated Ghost

I like to think that no matter the outcome, the letter ghost sends Tariq is the same. So once he graduates and is on the right path he’ll get the same letter. “I knew you’d end up here, right where you belong” but given the circumstances, the tone of the letter will be different.

Deep down I believe Ghost is still alive.. 1. He somehow knew one day in the future his son would be arrested for Homicide hence why he prepared the letter. He was either very calculated or knew he would die at the hands of his son or wife. 2. He knows Tariq is extremely loyal to money. So he made sure before Riq even sees a penny he has to get a 3.5 GPA, which will take him out of the game regardless of if he wants to be there. 3. How would Ghost know his son would “wipe out the family”? His Uncle Tommy doesn’t love him anymore, his mother is also in Witsec far out the local area. He even knew to Change his sisters last name so Tariq would never ever have access to her. Let’s not forget, in Ghost’s eyes he’s the reason his sister Raina was killed. 4. Ghost from day one knew he was losing control over his son. Season 4 Of Power and onwards. He knew Kanan’s manipulation was very strong, the boy genuinely believes that Kanan loved him like a Son when he was just using him to get at his father. It’s so sad to see that Tariq was actually allowing himself to be used as a weapon against his own parent. 5. How did Ghost know to fix Tommy’s car? Leave Kate money? Leave Paz money? Everything he done was too calculated to just claim he is dead. Ghost was very smart but no one is that smart. Let alone predict future events. Before people type and give me that ah ghost is dead bullshit lemme just say this. Tommy Faked his death, so did Kanan. Why can’t ghost do the same? Ghost was a terrible person but he had a much cleaner heart than Tommy and especially Kanan, a man who killed an old woman for her home under the impression he was helping with shopping. That’s just my opinion. You can’t throw these things in there and say the man’s dead, doesn’t make sense. I believe there’s a big reason as to why he died at the hands of his son!

Every time Tariq meets up with the lawyer and discusses about his father do you see how the lawyer doesn’t say if he’s dead or alive. Peep the clues. Why would there also be a letter from Ghost saying he knew he was gonna be in jail? The lawyer knows something that we fans do not.

For as long as Tariq aint seeing ghost in his dreams or hallucinations Its a sign that Ghost outsmarted Tariq from the moment he saw signs of how Tariq would turn against him Regardless, Ghost faked his death as means to get what we wants which is: Tasha with no inheritance from their marriage and Tariq in school... So overall I think that Tariq has a lot more to learn if he is to overcome Ghost's shadow

Also i think what would be good is if ghost is to appear and be alive in powerbook 2 i think he should have some type of involvement in powerbook 4 and should show up when tommy is at his lowest point and starts to look back at him and ghosts memories.

To be honest, Tariq would actually be better off fleeing New York and going into witness protection with Tasha and Yasmin, his blood family. That way he could protect them from Tommy should he ever find them, and also he has no real family left in New York at this point and too many enemies to be safe. It's really nothing left there for him, and he keeps getting into legal problems as well. While "Power" is now about as realistic as "Rings of Power", and criminals never really get caught in this fictional universe (but they do get killed), it is still not sensible for him to stay. It is also increasingly clear that he wants out of the drug game. So he will definitely come to the realisation that Ghost was right, and that Ghost lied simply to protect Tariq from the streets.

There's no cheating his way to anything. The only way is to be honest and live the life Ghost wanted for him to live. The only problem is, this wouldn't be a story that the audience wants to see. Without the violence and drama, the ratings would drop. He will lose out on the will but will make his own way to some kind of success. Writing to narrative for his own part of the story, like in the Lord of the Rings or Hobbit. It will be his own book.
