The answer to why allah(s.w) wants us to worship him? is because worship reminds us of allah (s.w) and hence reminds us of the ideal mindset that a believer must have to be free from depression, anxiety....etc and many more problems we face that arise because of emptiness in our soles due to lack of remembrance of allah(s.w) which is lack of worship which is necessary because man is forgetful in nature. And realise most or all of our worship leving dua(Note:-salah is also a dua) is buy remembering Allah(s.w) before and after any of the daily affairs that every human does so that we are reminded of him often . So worship is by the hikma of allah(s.w) 1️⃣ It benifits us as mentioned above. 2️⃣ Allah(s.w) has made his certain acts of worship obligatory because he loves us as it is also a way to communicate to him. 3️⃣ Only when a believer who worships allah(s.w) with senserity knows the level of ease and comfort he feels in his heart.

I appreciate your dawah and everything but in this particular case I think you've missed her point. She wanted to know the wisdom behind creation. You should've told her that, that knowledge only belongs to the Alllah(SWT) Himself, because we as mere creations can only understand as much as our finite mind can comprehend. We only can only see a pixel where's Alllah(SWT) has the whole picture. Maybe it was the only natural, logical and right thing to do, that's why He decided to create everything, we will never know.

Brother I pray Allah the Almighty rewards you for telling people about Islam. Some advice I have for you. Blur the females because this is fitnah for men and it's better for the female to be protected. Speak a little bit slower because the non Muslims need to clearly understand what's being sad and because they don't know what the Quran is or what Arabic is they need time to hear what's being said. That is the key: Allah's love for knowing Himself. That is why the Prophet Muhammad a.a.a.s. he said "he who knows himself knows his Lord". When this person says that she does not like to worship anyone, she means that she does not like to lower herself before anybody including Allah. And this is arrogance. This is the reason she remains agnostic and she is content to remain so. So, brother, it would be helpful if you explain to her that by lowering herself before Allah she actually makes herself the greatest creation of Allah as a slave of Allah since the slaves of Allah are the greatest creation after Allah. Maybe she would feel differently if she is informed that she can even attain a higher status than the angels if she worships Allah enough.

The only one true God John 17:3, want all human beings to worship Him alone without any partners Matthew 4:10, because he is the Creator of all things both visible and invisible and the only one that deserved to be worshipped because if anyone refused to submit to the Will of God alone without any partners definitely He or she will have to submit to any other creatures of the only one true God. Hence, the Will of God shall be done on earth as it is in the heavens Matthew 6:10, Quran 3:80-83, the Paradise is only for those who are worshipping God willingly Submitting to the Will of God and By following the instructions of the True messengers of God Quran 57:21.
