A long story short I was suffered from an illness which even doctors couldnt do anything. I prayed God alot and one day in a dream God spoke to me and said " you are been healed by the punishment that Jesus had" I woke up and felt that it should be mentioned in the bible. I spent a whole day to find it in the bible in Isaiah 53:5 When i was reading it several times, i heard a voice in my spirit asking me to write it in a paper and hang it in a place that is visible for me and to read and believe that word, which it will make me heal. I wrote it in a paper and hanged it infront of my bed. Everyday i read it and stepped out of the bed in the morning and also i read and believed it before i stepped on to bed at night. After few months, Jesus spoke to me in a dream again and told me that He healed me and to go my life journey in peace in Him. This happened like 18 years back. From that day onwards, i never got suffered in that illnesses again. This was a true testiment of mine. So it is my life experience that we are heald by Jesus's wounds.

All those who don’t believe don’t get healed
@royborgersen8092
@royborgersen8092 2 года назад
@@TruthWillSetYouFREE- that is not always true. I have prayed for many with no belief that got healed. It is enough for one person to have faith, and as we can see in the bible, Jesus never blaimed the sick or their relatives for lack of faith, only his disciples, in other words those who prayed for the sick. To put the responsibility on the sick when the sick receives prayer is a horrible thing to do.

I must say that although I have learnt a lot from listening to Poonen, and he has some good points here too, when it comes to teaching about healing his teaching is shallow and lacking. It is for instance not difficult to object to his pure speculations around the healing at the bethesda pool. I have studied this as he urges us to do, and found his teaching about healing to be flawed. Jesus healed absolutely all who came to him for healing, that is a strong testimony about God’s will to heal everyone. The disciples also healed everyone that came, Acts 5:16. So the only reason for not everyone getting healed, is our unbelief. Poonen has one important and good point here, we need to hear from God in order to receive faith. But his conclusion should have been that he should become better to listen to God who wants all to be healed. Then he would see more people healed. This is the challenge for all true disciples of Christ. We often listen more to our soul or flesh than to God.

Where did Jesus asked before healing if there was any sin that sick people had to repent from in order to heal them? Is there any case written that anybody asked for healing and Jesus said no?Why is it required to elders to have faith when praying for the sick faith in the sovereignty of God to do what he pleases to do; Many things in this teaching are distorted

The Holy Spirit is a teacher, Jesus didnt make crippled and infirm people fall and possibly injure themselves further or worse. But He did warn about false prophets and imitators of Him. pray over the sick and the troubled, not prey over them.

Obviously, the 'healing' of Isaiah 53:5 in light of 1 Peter 2:24's context is SIN. It's erroneous theology to state otherwise, stemming from failure to compare scripture with scripture. Physical healing, besides, was found under the Old Covenant, for both Jew and Gentile alike (Psalms 103:2-4), as in the case of Naaman. Under the New Covenant, Paul wasn't healed of his particular ailment, nor was Timothy's stomach problem healed, nor was Trophimus's illness in the mission field, despite all the repeated prayer and supplication of a faithful Apostle of Jesus Christ, through whose prayers even the dead was raised at times. Stating God must all heal everyone at all times under NC covenant establishes a law and negates the sovereignty of God's Spirit.

Sadly, this teacher starts this clip off with very bad Bible interpretation. This clip starts off with error. His view of Isaiah 53 is that when it says he bore ‘our’ sins that this means a different group of people to the exact same passage saying he bore ‘our sicknesses’. When Isaiah 53 says ‘our’ it continues this same reference to all the things that he bore and did, meaning it refers to the same group of people. In Matthew 8, the passage this teacher refers to, Matthew quotes Isaiah. In Isaiah 53, Isaiah did not prophecy ‘he bore ‘their’ infirmities. It says ‘our’. ‘IF’ that only referred to the group of people In Matthew 8, it would have said ‘their’, indicating it only referred to ‘that’ specific group of people. Yes, Matthew 8 was ‘a’ fulfilment of that prophecy, just like ‘every time’ God heals it is a fulfilment of that prophecy. The all inclusive word ‘our’ includes me and you. The exact same word ‘our’ is used in Isaiah 53 to refer to Jesus bore ‘our sins’. And it is used in the same context. Meaning that it referred to the same people it was referring to about sicknesses. Ie: he bore ‘our’ sins and he bore ‘our sicknesses’. To say that the people in Matthew 8 were ‘the only’ people he bore their sicknesses you would also have to say that same group of people were the only group of people he bore the sins of. That would then be claiming that Jesus did not bear the sins of anyone else except that small limited group of people in Matthew 8. The word ‘our’ in Isaiah covers both groups and refers to the same group of people. So, to claim that Jesus only bore ‘that’ groups sicknesses, but bore other people’s sins is to twist Matthew 8 and Isaiah 53. Jesus bore the sins of the world. The ‘our’ in Isaiah 53 refers to all of us, the entire world, including you and me. That exact same word is then used to refer to him bearing our sicknesses, so it refers to the same group of people. ‘Our’ equals all of us, the whole world. So, Jesus bore ‘our’ sins and ‘our’ sicknesses. To interpret it any other way is to intentionally warp and twist Isaiah 53’s prophecy by warping and twisting the word ‘our’ which is simply bad grammar.

I believe you are the one who misinterpreting. Biblical writers don't quote as we expect them quote . They are giving commentary with lots of allusions and symbolism. for eg: Hosea 11:1-2 1 When Israel was a child, I loved him, and out of Egypt I called my son. 2 The more they were called, the more they went away; they kept sacrificing to the Baals and burning offerings to idols. Matthew points out that the first verse fulfilled in Jesus . Does that mean that the second verse also talks about Jesus ? No, never. it talks about different people. Another one, Luke quotes isaiah 61. Luke 4:18-19 18 “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed, 19 to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor.” But luke mixes Isaiah 58:6 with it and removes gentile judgment completely . Isa 61:2 to proclaim the year of the LORD's favor, 'and the day of vengeance of our God'; to comfort all who mourn; Why? it's not fulfilling at that time. Its for different time and different people. When Gospel writers uses fullfill it's over. Its not talking about going to fulfill or fulfilling. God bless you.

@@Eben_Haezer Hosea 11, which you quote, changes audience between :1 and 2, so is completely different to what I said. Verse one - HIM, verse 2 - THEY. So doesn’t even remotely compare to what I said. Just because ‘you’ claim that the word ‘fulfilled’ ‘always’ is one off and not ongoing, doesn’t make that true. The example you used in Luke 4 is also an ongoing fulfilment. Jesus preached that same truth all over (according to Peter, in Acts 10, when he refers to the message that was preached throughout all Judaea - and then goes on to say it was the message of the anointing upon Jesus. So, although it’s recorded once in Luke, and Jesus says this day it is fulfilled, Peter - who knows far more than any of us because he was present during Jesus’ ministry on the earth, says that was preached all over. So, even though Jesus says ‘it’s fulfilled’, that clearly was not a one off and actually was fulfilled again and again each time Jesus preached that in other places. According to your personal interpretation, Jesus was only anointed that one time in Luke 4 and never anywhere else. We know that is not accurate, because He was anointed everywhere.
@Eben_Haezer

@@FromTheseShores See how you created a theory out of nothing . Acts 10 say that 'preaching good news of peace through Jesus Christ'. Jesus was preaching the Gospel. Next verse says Acts 10:37-38 37 YOU YOURSELF KNOW what happened throughout all Judea, beginning from Galilee after the baptism that John proclaimed: 38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power. He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him. This was not preached by Jesus everywhere. It's by others. Gospel writers didn't say that he said this everywhere . That was your personal interpretation.
