Everything you both spoke about I can confirm. I started in GovTech a year ago and now I am in an information security role that doubled to six figure base salary + bonus. Also I am an advocate now for Linux. I was always afraid of it but it is so efficient and so many distros to have fun and learn. Thanks!

Did you switch roles in the same organization or did you have to go to another one for your bump in pay? Also, how long were in the first role before switching?

the glaring issue isthat there are very few positions in this space at an entry level, even people with experience are having a hard time getting in

really nice production quality but what is your thought on IT and tech feeld getting overfloded by useless people who dont have no intrust who are here just for the money and faking with themeselfs that they like IT but the real thing they do is just MERN Stack and i think this is an untalked topics which is not touched every youtuber is just promoting software dev as their next starup and then making a startup which sells course thx for reading

We need real passion in tech. MERN Stack is useful, but the industry needs innovation and hard work.
