Perhaps Dooku should've been the overall main villain throughout all of the Prequels and have the identity of Darth Sidious remain a mystery all the way till the 2nd act in Revenge of the Sith

Grievous was shocked. The entire CIS was shocked and grieved at the loss of Dooku. To them he was an invincible bulwark against the corrupt Republic and its Jedi lapdogs. Invincible. How many Jedi had failed to defeat him? Even Master Yoda failed. Then all of a sudden, gone at the very moment of what should have been the CIS' greatest moment.

I completely agree. Grievous was right to be afraid and concerned. It was huge honor to be next to Sidious. He was now leader of CIS. This was their triumph but also their greatest defeat. May the Force be with you too😊

Great video! I love your insights on the Star Wars characters of both heroes and villains. My favorite one is what Dooku's final thoughts were before his death (that being the realization that he had been played by Sidious all along). Could you do a video on what was Grevious' final thoughts before his death? Did he like Dooku realize he had been a pawn since the start or was he full of rage and fear to have been defeated by Obi-Wan? I often wondered about that.

It makes sense that at different times, Grievous would fear those who bested Dooku, who consistently bested him. Yet then be happy about being the face of the CIS and perhaps do a better job and move towards his own goal of war.

Grievous would be relieved and happy, now that Dooku is out of the picture (after all, he did plan a bomb in grievous ship which resultantly nearly killing him and putting him into a cybernetic body). And I guess it makes sense since grievous is focus on war against the Jedi, not politics stuff. Happy May 4th to all.

Grevious was happy that Dooku was dead as it meant he became supreme commander of the Alliance and not just its military and therefore able to dictate and carry on the watch’s he saw best and not shackled by dooku’s political role. Something he wouldn’t get to enjoy for long given the hammer blow of Sidious treachery was about to come crashing down on him.
