Meeting with Young Dentists. On Tuesday evening, December 26th, more than two hundred young people listened to me at Kent University Faculty of Dentistry. They asked very relevant questions. The seminar lasted more than 2 hours but I observed that they listened without getting bored. They will shape the future.
My colleagues who laughed at me 20 years ago when I told them about the connection between pain and teeth have recently started to ask for dental X-rays themselves, but I can't say that they understand much. A lot changes with time. It is not for nothing that the phrases "water flows and finds its way" or "the sun does not get muddied by the mud" were said. Interestingly, although there is still no demand from medical students, we organize recurrent meetings with dental students. Probably the role of their professors who know my work, especially Prof. Dr. Funda Yanıkoğlu, is great.
This problem can be solved with the cooperation of dentists and medical doctors. Our trainings with medical doctors continue. Young people are enthusiastically interested. We will be happy if we can contribute to the reduction of chronic pain sufferers in our country in the future.
