What people experience is the fear of being taken advantage off more so when there are so many entitled human beings....if we can create healthy giving and know we can't do more and free to step back, irrelevant how difficult that may be to say, sorry cant do..minus this what shetty says is so very true..

Yes, it can happen that way - is ideal. However, there are parents that make slaves out of their kids. You grow up not knowing why you don't matter and why people treat you so badly. It's because you put others first - it was programmed into you. It makes you feel like life isn't worth it. Sixteen years of that is extremely hard to turn around.
