I absolutely LOVE Rob, he is such a nice and gracious guy. I've met him on Several occasions since 1999 and he has never acted like talking with him was a chore and he wasn't all high and mighty like some actors I have encountered. I remembered the first time I met him I was like dang this guy is short, but then again so am I. His Daughter Elle King is SOOO talented, my favorite song is Ex's & Oh's! Plus he has a young toddler and newborn that he is trying to spend more time with and not taking on such big movie roles to be a better dad.
+Nadine Miller Until you posted this, I have no clue that Elle King is Rob Schneider's daughter. Wow! I agree, she's very talented. By the way, I also like the song Ex's and Oh's.
*Talk to me again, I'll twist the whole damn titty off!* (The scene where Stan/Rob is on the prison bus when that big bald white dude was trying to hit up on him) *Funny classic movie*
Odiuos Skull You don't have to apologize anymore, I've forgiven you. Another piece of advice though; Just because it's been on your mind for awhile, doesn't mean you have to share it with anyone but your therapist. Love you very much LB (dats short for little buddy).
I actually had met this man in real life. He’s one of the most nicest guys I’ve have ever met. Very sociable and friendly. It was an honor and privilege to have met him.👍👍👍👍🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂
jean if they couldn't act then the casting director wouldn't have chosen them. The producers and the studios wouldn't have sign off on a bad acting actor. A actors takes note from a director acting out his vision of the story. Their are a entire network of people to blame for a bad movie. Oh lets not forget shitty writting
Brandon Matthews yeah. Ben Affleck was amazing as Batman but the movie itself was bad. I liked the darkness, I'm not a fan of comedy in DC movies, but the story was to scattered.
punklover99 Have you actually read any of the negative reviews from the 'Top Critics'? Many of them, on many movies, simply say 'It was boring', 'it wasn't funny'. Many of them sound like they never even saw what they were reviewing.
To be honest I don't take ANY critics seriously wether they be from films, music or video games...Most of them are pretentious hipsters who kiss indie ass and the others are paid under the table for good reviews.
Southern Bella Donna Rob Schneider is funnier than Adam Sandler. I’d rather watch Deuce Bigalow, The Animal or The Hot Chick over any of the bullshit that Adam Sandler puts out
"If Mel Gibson can do it, just about anybody can." Except Gibson is a very talented actor and director, most of his projects were critically and commercially succesful.
^^ I don't like Mel Gibsons as a person, hes a bit of a racist and general dick head. But hes a damn good actor and director, still love Braveheart and always will regardless of the actor behind the role.
kilsgb Dude, everyone, I mean everyone knows Mel Gibson is a badboi off-screen. Drunk driving, being accused of racism, sexism, you name it. Good that he can still make good movies, like the recent Hacksaw Ridge.
The problem is critics have 0 sense of humor. They rate movies as if it's a serious drama, judging the cinematography. It's a comedy, it's made to make you laugh at immature jokes. But I guess they don't get that.
Rob Scheider plays... a teenage girl. But seriously, it was a touching movie about a girl turning into a guy and finding out that her friends and boyfriend still loves her no matter what her gender is.
Personally I think he'd make a great aloof Batman villain. Like Pack Rat or the Condiment King, or even in the Tick Amazon series. He can play a good awkward character when he isn't trying to imitate Adam Sandler.
I watched SNL and Adam Sandler films in the 90s. I did not love the guy. He was good for a "You Can Do It" or "You likah the jooze?" one liner guy, but thats the extent of it. He cant carry a film.
Legend...not exactly what I would choose to describe him. Some-what funny co-star is more accurate, and if we're being realistic he got a lot of roles because he's friends or was friends with Adam Sandler.
Matthew Purdum most famous people got where they were because they knew somebody so what's your point? Hollywood didn't like the fat that he went against popular belief so he doesn't get roles now. He's a legend no one cares what you say
Ian Greer "No one cares what you say." You're in the same boat as well then. I respectfully disagree and you're getting offended, because I bring up valid points. Not to mention, if he's a legend, what does that make Adam Sandler? "Legend" pffffft How about Tom Hanks that has done action to comedy to drama? Those two must be gods among men then. You want to be salty? Try this on: He doesn't get roles in major movies anymore, because no one wants to see him in them. He's a shit actor, and a 'B' star at best. I was trying to nicely give my opinion, but apparently you're incapable of understanding me without me being more abrupt. "Legend" pfffttttttttttttttt
Matthew Purdum you said legend pffft twice by the way, Adam Sandler is a legend and Tom thanks is too but he's an idiot. we're not in the same boat obviously because 6 people agree with me (look at the likes) and nobody agrees with you.
The narrator was so harsh on him. "Don't let him touch you" cause he's unlucky, cm on! That was some cheap scriptwriting. Anyways Rob Schneider is really talented and can really carry roles. Too bad Hollywood dint click for him.
Schneider is a product of standing up for what he believes in a place that does't believe the same. This video is the first I've ever heard of him thing I've ever heard of him being bad. Literally everything I've seen him in is hilarious and is quoted all the time. Whoever made this video just doesn't like him on a personal level, whatever that may be. Schneider is great and it's funny we all know Schneider, but wouldn't know the dude voicing this documentary if a room full of him walked in.
If Mel Gibson can do it anyone can? Are you fucking kidding? You're completely ignoring the fact that Mel is not only an incredible actor with legit roles behind him, but also one of the most talented directors of his era. He's not fucking Rob Schneider level. That being said, I can see Rob Schneider making a weird comeback in a serious role that no one expected.
I hope he does or else finds another passion, saw him doing some comedy with some other from SNL about a year ago he still had it, met and talked to him a bit after the show, a very nice respectable man not afraid to speak his mind on things, comes off as a very genuine and kind man.
Looper...give the guy a break, holyy...He's still funny. You're criticizing but yet...don't see you over there doing what he does...your criticism isn't funny.
@@mysteriousperson2794 there are loads of bad actors out there then Rob Schneider..... movies like The Chosen One, The Animal, Duece bigalow and The Real Rob web series are really entertaining
Long story short: Rob is funnier than many of the still-standing "comedians". Not saying he's perfect by any means, but he's provided more laughs than some current celebrities ever will. I loved Deuce Bigolow and The Hot Chick. And even if Adam Sandler's movies have gone south, I still enjoy Rob's cameos. Also, it's totally fine if he sticks to smaller roles; he often provides some good comic relief in otherwise lackluster flicks. - You don't have to steal the show or win an Oscar in order to be good.
While filming The Animal in Sonoma CA, my friend ran into Rob at a hot dog stand and said: "It's the Robster, grabbin' a hot dog!" The look on Rob Schneider's face immediately turned into a disgusted, displeased face. This is the best Rob Schneider story that I know of.
Attorney General idk he has one of those voices you just can't mistake for anyone else and I like his cameos because no matter how clothed or different they have him look if he speaks I know it's him immediately.
"He could give a shit." Rob cares about a lot of things. For instance, he cared whether Hot Chick sent a positive message for females such as his daughter and meanwhile made it really funny, and cared whether Big Stan sent both a pro-gay and anti-rape message and meanwhile made it really funny.
I just saw him about 2 weeks ago in a Whole Foods in El Paso TX. People seemed to ask for pics a lot so they must still like him, he was here for his stand-up after all.
I genuinely think he could take on the roll and be decent, that being said I know for a fact that a studio would never cast him in any iconic roll because he's "cursed" for mediocrity.
"Big Stan was actually really funny." It certainly was. Big Stan was a great silly comedy just like Zoolander was a great silly comedy, and was directed by Rob and partly written by Rob like Zoolander was directed by Ben and partly written by Ben. Rob is a hardworking creative talent who's won some and lost some over a very long career; meanwhile Looper is a worthless parasite.
"nobody gives a fuck about big stan" Lots of people do. It has more than twice as many votes on imdb as The Awful Truth starring Cary Grant, which is also, if you can wrap your head around this, really funny.
Funky Monkey Elle king is a shrieking pretentious hippo who's only big because her da used what little money he had left to cram her ass into a studio and buy airtime.
doesn't matter, she's still very talented. Think what you want about her, it doesn't take away the fact she can probably write better songs than u or I
Yeah? Well im pretty sure i could my wang in pant and spank it all over a page and come up with something better than ex's and oh's. Anything is better than ex's and oh's JFC and if you only ever agree with me on anything it will be that. Everyone knows that song is shit.
With all the horrible shit coming from Hollywood, I can't understand the hate for Rob. I still prefer to watch some of his movies than most of the new shit coming out.
Never seen the "HIT" chick though, have to catch it on TV or rent it sometime! Although I definitely have seen The HOT Chick (2002) though, very funny film LOL! ; P
Plant By The Moon Rob Schneider was also in 50 First Dates as well DUH! All made up as The Long Haired Darker Tanned Hawaiian Polynesian guy with the Tropical Islander Accent! Was already kinda in the video above (small little tiny clip appearance though)
that fucking scene in the second one where the Asian dude is making your momma jokes and gets thrown into a dumpster and he's like "Hey your momma is in here" I fucking laugh so hard every time
mgeek1 the second one is honestly better then the first one to me. way more interesting story to it. dumb story but very entertaining to watch. so many classic moments in it
the idiocy of what u just said is not worth a response but heres one anyways. IT IS OFFENSIVE! 1/4 Philippino doesnt make it ok to make fun of Chinese stereotypes. hes still brown faced to do multiple rolls. whatever i know you dont care, just dont act like your an expert when you dont know what its like to be a minority.
How much minority heritage must a person have in order to be considered a minority, Daniel Castro? Is a person who is 1/4 black not allowed to identify as black? Is a person who is 1/4 Hispanic, and speaks Spanish, not allowed to identify as Hispanic?
hes not identifying, he is "acting" (or lack there of). Again, hes not making fun of Philippino people hes making fun of Chinese stereotypes (i know its hard for u to understand this), when u have to wear extensive makeup an prosthetics, you probably shouldnt be pretending to be that race and dont get me started on all the brown facing hes done.
At some point during this video, I had to ask myself, '...Why am I watching this video? Not because of Rob Schneider, but because these Looper videos are nothing but garbage that hate on people that were/are more successful than Looper will ever be.'
He is the one I watched most in my earlier teen and loved it. Rob Schneider create nostalgia for many and still enjoy it. Looper bits him hard don't no y.
Literally just saw his standup show in GF MT and got to meet with him afterwards. He mentioned to us about an Animal sequel in the works. He is a very friendly and personable individual. He mentioned during the show about leaving Commiefornia and moving to Arizona. Can’t say we blame him. If you get a chance to see him perform live I highly recommend going to see him. We laughed our asses off!! 😆
Rob Schneider is an amazing actor who is truly talented...Deuce Giglio and Big Stan are his 2 best movies that I could watch over and over again...he is totally underrated!
Studios rely on stars to promote the films as part of the compensation package. That means having to put them in front of microphones. Studios just can't afford to take the chance that doing so is going to alienate the ticket buying audience.
White Kita His films and roles are quite similar to Adam Sandler's, the difference is, Sandler usually acts alongside other major stars, but Rob is a talented guy. He's a comedian...with simple films, scripts, and characters which he plays up well, or played up well...
I think it's great he's spreading awareness about vaccines causing Autism. It's hard not to notice a happy little baby becoming Autistic after getting his vaccines.
punklover99 happened to my nephew. A perfect happy intelligent baby until he had an MMR vaccine. His progression stopped then actually declined. Now at 8 yrs old he can't speak or use the bathroom by himself. Vaccines DO cause autism. He is one of thousands affected.
punklover99 Big Pharma's make billions off of them. That's why. If you are naive enough to believe that they wouldn't let kids be harmed for money, then you need to open your eyes to the real world my friend. All it takes is a few million here and there to the right people and the truth will remain buried.
"He's funnier than Pauly Shore." They've both made about four genuinely funny movies, Pauly's being Son In Law, Adopted, Encino Man, and Pauly Shore Is Dead imo. Groucho Marx made about five. Pauly and Rob are successful professionals. Your post is more like toddlers beating on trashcans.
The substance supposedly linked to autism in that one retracted study isn't even in the vaccines anymore. That's really all you need to realize that you're wrong unless you're a complete moron.
He cites one single study by Dr Wakefield in 1998 that claimed a link between autism and vaccines which has now been retracted as it was found out the study used poor statistics and even fabricated data. The overwhelming evidence now which comes from meta-analyses and review papers prove him wrong: lbihealth.com/pdf/p2065.pdf cid.oxfordjournals.org/content/48/4/456.full onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1038/sj.clpt.6100407/abstract?userIsAuthenticated=false&deniedAccessCustomisedMessage= www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0264410X01000974 www.miottawa.org/Health/OCHD/pdf/2007_Nature_DeStefano_Vaccines_and_Autism.pdf www.jpeds.com/article/S0022-3476(13)00144-3/fulltext?hc_location=ufi
So would I. I would like to see something really different. But even he said he won't. When someone suggested it to him, he remarked: "People don't ask Andre Agassi, 'You know you're the No. 1 tennis player in the world ... have you thought about polo?'"
