Christina Ricci was only nine years old when she made her film debut alongside Hollywood legend and pop superstar Cher in 1990’s Mermaids. The following year, Ricci landed arguably her most memorable role; Wednesday Addams in The Addams Family.

I feel like there are a lot of opportunities out there for her. She definitely has the look and skills. She just needs to hop on a bandwagon to get exposure. She'd fit right in with AHS. She is gorgeous but also has an eerie look and it's all in the eyes. Beautiful but haunting.

They don't mean that these actors/actresses never get roles at all they mean that they don't get roles like they use to.. In some cases it means that they don't get as many or in other's it means that their roles arent as big as stuff that they've had before

First, what browser are you using? There is a Chrome Plugin, chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/video-blocker/jknkjnpcbbgcbdbaampbjlhkcghmgfhk?hl=en that works well that prevents youtube from even showing their videos in your feed without your asking. Chrome works ok generally but for some reason I switched to Opera. Apparently there is a youtube setting for stopping you from seeing anything from a specific channel but I can't for the life of me find how I did it. Every now & again, I click on a link to a vid that someone in my circle says is horristupidbad & I can't see it. I also can't reply to some old comments because I can't navigate to the page with the thread of a vid by a blocked channel.

I've been a fan of hers since 1997, when I saw Addams Family - Family Values for the first time. And not only is Buffalo 66 my favorite movie she's in, it's actually one of my favorite movies of all time. I miss her a lot.

Eh, I think Hollywood is wrong, and they should cast her. She is a great actress, simply put. It seems like a missed talent. Most the time on the "why hollywood won't cast (so-and-so)" I agree somewhat, but this one I don't I agree as much. I still think she could be cast in more and that we could just consider this the time she took out for family. A lot of actors and actresses do that. I hope she builds up steam and returns to larger movies again. I always thought she would be great in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as the replacement for Jane Foster played formerly by Natile Portman who was 5'3". Plus she would make a great Thor if they ever decided to go along with that story arc.

This is a false News Story. Christina Ricci has had steady work in Hollywood for over a decade and is currently involved in "Z: The Beginning of everything". (2015 - ) Julia Stiles unemployable? Not likely. She has also had steady work since 2006. She is currently in the movie called "Trouble" which is in post production. Jennifer Love Hewitt has taken some time off from filming, directing, producing because she and her husband are raising a family. Cut her some slack.

She is criminally underrated. Yes, her roles in weirder movies like Addams Family, Lizzie Borden, and Sleepy Hollow are excellent, but she shines is so many other roles. Her role in The Opposite of Sex was a hilarious and heartbreaking performance and Monster was a tour de force masterpiece. She's also had memorable turns in TV including the final season of Ally McBeal, Saving Grace, and Grey's Anatomy which she scored an Emmy nomination for. It's really a tragedy that her name isn't higher up on Hollywood's radar because watching any of her performances you could unanimously agree that the woman has range.

Najee Jackson it's a character driven movie with two very intriguing characters (most movies only have one) and one of the only movies I can think of with Samuel Jackson that isn't a cheap action flick. it explores two characters who have fallen away from their families and must make do with friends as their only loved ones. it also has a ridiculously unique soundtrack (the films named after a blues songs from the early 20th century.)

Christina Ricci is one of the only actresses I have ever had any affection for, within the entire entertainment industry, and remains to be my favorite, to this day. Literally grew up watching her in her movie roles, being that we're the same age (and both Aquarius, so, nearly the exact same date of births), and she always seems to manage to steal the scenes and lightens up moments with her adorable special charm and presence. Whatever she decides to do in life, I wish for it fill her with happiness and a sense of understanding, about herself and the world around her, and I feel as though she has no problems doing just that, as time goes on.

The world needs more women who say no to makeup and plastic surgery, more women like her. Sadly that's not what Hollywood thinks, they want us to tell what is "hot" and what is "not". Not just the movie industry, just watch any ad, any female news reporter - it makes me sick. I remember seeing Ricci on Caspar the friendly Ghost for the first time - being just one year younger than her and seeing that pure and true to heart innocence caught me on the spot, and nothing has changed many decades later. Such character is impossible to fake and, I don't know, in her case all you need is to look in her eyes and all is clear.

She's a fantastic actress and an absolute sweetheart, if anyone's met her. A quick check of IMDB indicates she is currently the lead in a TV series (Z: The Beginning of Everything) on Amazon Prime. If that is "not getting cast any more", I think 99% of Hollywood actors would take it.
