Why Hollywood Won't Cast Jennifer Hudson Anymore 

Are you more a fan of her singing or her acting?

What a shame she's so underrated. She has one of the most powerful voices in the entire music industry, and she seems like a really nice lady.

Jennifer Hudson is not doing good because she refuses to dress trashy and lip sync like the other "singers" and I say, good for her. This is why music industry is suffering in today's online world; turning their back on talented singers like Jennifer Hudson, and uplifting singers that can't sing, but are willing to walk around almost nude on stage.

I see Jennifer Hudson everywhere so I don't know how the fuck she flopped. Saying that studios didn't want to book her because her family was murdered makes ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE AT ALL. That angers me to no end bc it was so stupid.

You obviously need anything to talk about. J-Hud is brilliant.

Beautiful voice, it was obvious in 2007 when she sang the dream girls medley alongside Beyonce. Jennifer's voice was so powerful that not even Beyonce can outshine the talent of Jennifer Hudson.

I don't think she's much of an actress, but her singing talents are impeccable. I wish there were more Jennifer Hudsons on the radio rather than the crap that is played now.

She's just had a lead role in Sandy Wexler, she recently won The Voice UK with her act and now she's due to judge the next season of The Voice US! Oh yeah...she's really hit a slump in her career....

Jennifer is a black beautiful and highly talented lady - - - and after her Stellar Tribute of "Purple Rain" for the Beloved late Prince, she will always be a fan of mine. You Go Girl!!

Jennifer's charisma and natural talents are extraordinary and although we're not seeing her in leading roles or as the star in big production TV series, she's doing her thing. She is so mesmerising on screen that all it will take is a casting director to see past the 'Oscar winning superstar' to her range. If she can bear it (because these things can really take over your life), I see her as the lead in a big bucks Netflix series that will remind people what she can do.

Sometimes it isn't "good" to be super hot early in your career/out-of-the-gate as celebrity and popularity are ever fleeting. I think it's more important for a talent like J-Hud (and even Fanatsia) to have a slow, steady rise, so when you finally make it to the top, you can truly enjoy being there.

I love her singing and her acting. Love her in both the Secret Life Of Bees, and Winnie Mandela. Her marriage and weight loss was ecstatic. I admire her simply because no matter what mess is intentionally thrown her way, she is a survivor - who needs the accolades of people who judge you for beauty any how. My hero! She has a husband, children, and a career - go Jennifer.

OMG, she lost her mother, brother and nephew in the most tragic way possible, how many us would be able to continue after enduring such a tragedy. And all of this measuring of sales etc. and movies that (supposedly) flopped. Who cares! She is a strong Queen with more talent in her fingernail that most of the so called singer/actors out there. She knows her worth and she is doing just fine.

i went into watching this expecting to be upset by major shade but you had some valid points. I've always wondered why as amazing a singer she is for whatever reason she cant get a hit record. but she has had steady work ad an actress and i think thats the arena she should stick to, and record occasionally as well as go back to Broadway and continue theater work, possibly even star in her own TV series. i believe when you start out the gate winning an Oscar, unfortunately you have nowhere to go but down from there. best you can hope for is to maintain and you've never heard rumors shes unprofessional or difficult to work with which is probably why she stays booked.
