@@drcommonsense1 the standards of morality are not uniform throughout the world. Some acts considered moral in one part of the world are absolutely immoral in another part of the world. Now the question is by what standards can we as human beings decide the morality of our actions? how could we ever decide on these standards in the first place? In this way, morality can never be from the people. Now if morality cannot be from people then it can only be from a higher being. The creator. A being that is in the position of giving us a guide to living life as good human beings with a strong sense of morality. This is explained better in the video by the Sheikh.
@Farhan Hashmi yes I think religion (all religions) give plenty of guidance on what good vs bad is but I believe society has a very important role in assisting with this. Morality has strongly been shaped by religion but times have evolved and so should morality in my opinion

in what world was this a conversation? Did you hear anymore than a one or two word response? mans aware theres a camera on him, he's being lectured at by by a highly trained agenda-based missionairy. Every point is followed by a close-ended question, missionairy doesnt pause to alow digression, ect.

What a polite young man, listening to the rational Sheikh, MashaAllah. Great analogy on the “incest” concept that too many cultures have done that is clearly immoral, (yet so many love to overlook morality and do whatever they feel like based on abuses or past violent situations in their lives, forgetting what the Divine decree has been all along). (We all know that Deuteronomy has a section on drunkenness on incest and have wondered why the two sisters were doing that awful thing to their dad, God forbid). Yet, we must treat all people kindly and not pry into their lives, as the insolent have pried into Muslims’ lives, Astaghfirullah. Indeed, “There is no compulsion in Religion” which Allah makes clear in each section of the Quran, and we must treat people even better than we were treated.

I can go to an Apple factory and verify and see how a phone is created, can I go to God's factory and verify how humans are created? I think the philosophy of morality can be measured in moral grey scale. Too much control and discipline leads to totalitarian state / authoritative state of being lacking any sense of compassion. Too much freedom and compassion leads to anarchy and complacency. Balance is key 🔑.

this world is making it really hard for people to convert, makes me cry thinking about all the people who are still searching for god, but because of the things in mainstream media, the luxuries of life, sex, drugs, lgbtq, and just the way internet made everybody be able to fall into things that give them pleasure, and once they find islam it makes it extremely difficult for one person to have to literally ignore his whole previous existence at times, May allah make it easy for any trying to convert, and i hope everyone in the Dawah community is as patient and understanding as this, ive seen others who go full extremist mode from the beginning, which at times leads people away
