Is there a reason why you use so much foreign equipment. Why not Deere or Vermeer? I am very happy with Vermeer hay equipment. Thanks for the update. I catch your videos now and again. The hay production business can be crazy with little control over prices, unscheduled breakdowns, and uncertain weather. There are good days sprinkled in--that's what me going in this "bad habit".
Sorry to hear about all of that bud! Wow.. what a wild ride for you guys. I'll be praying for ya. Have you considered leasing a tractor instead of purchasing? I know a few guys that do that, and have said it pencils out in the end, and don't have to pay for mechanical or electrical failures. Keep your head up!
Sorry to here about all your Equipment break downs, your not the only one, similar issues happening here, fix one thing something else breaks down, and the prices there charging for the parts now doubled if not more. Shocked to here about your 4710, like that Tractor. Nice seeing you back Bud 👍🏻
Completely understand with you. Been missing your videos. See you post on Facebook every so often though. I’m only 10 minutes into the video so far but you’re a sim racer??? Man I love my simulator! I don’t play iracing but I play assetto corsa and beamng. I like drifting and drag racing more than road course and stuff like that. Will be building a drag car soon though. Hope to do sickweek and Rocky Mountain race week. Curious to hear about your 4710 but haven’t made it that far into the video yet. Take care buddy!!!! Glad to see an upload. Glad to hear about your baler too. Seems like every single new baler has new baler break in issues. I know on the Deeres until you put SEVERAL bales through one you have to disable the kicker because the bales can jump over it and cause a big mess. Hey don’t hesitate to work that 383! My 393 has hard a really really hard life and it’s still just runnin right along. I pull a 10 foot discbine with it all year and it uses hardly no fuel at all. Hate the transmission for it though. 5th gear is too slow and 6th gear is too fast. Does yours do good on fuel? I calculated it one day and it only burned like 2.3 gallons an hour pulling the discbine. I couldn’t believe it. I calculated it at least 3 more times and come up with the same thing every time.
You keep your head up buddy you’ll make it you always put up great down to earth quality videos and knowledgeable videos keep up the good work you’ll make it
Miss your videos especially working and going through equipment. You’ve got me a usable baler and starting a hay business better than expected! Hope you come back!
Great video Mr Bagwell I don’t think I caught your first name, but I enjoy your channel and hope to see you back,I used to be a dairy farmer but we no longer milk cows we do have beef cattle and do our own hay with that I won’t to say your review on equipment is by far the best I have ever seen, you do a great job on telling like it is on equipment that help on buying equipment for us and others I got on your channel of being a Massey Ferguson man and as I said before your review are great we hope you get back making videos,I always learn from your channel and if your always learning than your always winning thanks have a blessed evening
Gee .I love if you could do some kind of dialogue with farmer Phil. Him and his da are big into the masseys .they do almost all the repairs themselves and they like talking about it .I know they are in Ireland but a collaboration would make for great TV. Anyway your knowledge and straight talk makes great content. Regarding your misfortune. It sounded like the pto shaft got snagged and pushed the drive shaft right through the tractor but that would be obvious. I wouldn't tell you what to do but I do enjoy your videos
I tried to buy a 4707 in 2021 and my local dealer told me Massey quit shipping them out of the factory do to that series of tractor having transmission issues so I ended up buying Kubota.
I have missed your videos. I agreed with your ideas on things that they don't want you to talk about. I have a small hay operation and enjoy those videos. How did the Outrider work over time? Will it work with orchard grass?
just so you know you have my support . i enjoy what you do . curious to know if you ridiculed that piece of equipment you tested and brought back . . what you said . i will send you my email to discuss if you wish. take care. have you had your insurance ascessor look at the 4710. maybe an independent engineer do a report in it.
You do what you have to do buddy an get caught up an take a break from here till you get caught up an feel like you have time for getting back into making video
its hit or miss now with everything now you have to really pick wisely. We bale with 108x and the puma 165 i try not to push the 70 or the 9540 on the new roller. i know you have new one but if you get a chance to get a larger frame tractor you will never go back and i even told you awhile back you dont need this or that i was wrong. The big tractor rolls with ease doesnt use a lot of fuel and is never in a hard pull best a luck to you i have been there
I do miss seeing your videos... Ive changed to only film when i feel like it... Still surprised im doing it yet, but feels I'm gradually getting less and less. Perhaps thats something you could consider, keep it a hobby and not a job. Keeps it fresh and something to talk about.
I started RU-vid in 2007. By 2010 I was involved in controversy and had my channel deleted. It returned with most of my videos gone. Took a break from that point until 2020 after my mom died. My goal was to use RU-vid to try and meet other people. To this day I have yet to meet anyone in person and never got paid a penny for any of it. Lately I have returned because the one thing I never mentioned, my diet- is the new popular thing.
I'd send the Massey down the road. If I was close to you I would let you use one of my tractors. I just got a new M6-141 Kubota because they made me a great deal on it. I thought is was way more tractor than I needed but I was wrong. Overkill cannot be overrated.
Dang... if I lived closer I would happily lend a backup tractor for you when you needed it. Too bad you don't have 100k+ subs, you'd get a shiny new demo tractor (heck, even replacement)to run till it got fixed, right? 😆 I guess only thing you can do is try to baby the tractors more when you can. Wonder if anyone knows who you can call for AGCO if they could help out with the cost? The days of dealers offering loaner tractors at a greatly reduced rate is far gone...
Appreciate that buddy yea I know be nice to demo one of those new 5s models an it would definitely be worked!! Here.. yep will just have to try and make due
Well, Bubba Didn't take me long after joining this "platform" to figure out, what the main purpose for their existance was........Talk about "bitting the hand that feeds you"
