Yeah it’s going to be stressful and it’s probably not worth it anymore to you because RU-vid is taking care of you, but remember all the hard work u already put into it just to give up? Thats not someone you are. We all cry and hate studying all that info, essays, etc. but we keep it pushing & in the end we feel accomplished*

He worked hard, like you and now he’s saving lives in Israel. Please know your worth and intelligence. It may be stressful now but you are such a strong, beautiful woman! You got this girl!!

I just started college as biochem major and I started to think I was incompetent and was not worthy of becoming a medical school student, but becoming a future physician isn’t about being an A student or being perfect. This year has been horrible for me mentally. My anxiety has been horrible and at the beginning of the year I was having multiple panic attacks a day and was almost addicted to Xanax. And recently I’ve actually been decent with my anxiety, but yeah obviously there is those days that creep up on your and ruin your day. But you will get through it Gabrielle! You got this! I love you. Talk yourself through it and let yourself know that “ this is just my anxiety. I have the power over. Just breathe!” I love you Gabrielle assure yourself that this isn’t you it’s your anxiety.

This video (not the title, of course) got me so excited! Handling your RU-vid channel, a biochemistry major, honours, a leadership programme all at the same time... in Dutch you would be called a “powervrouw”! It makes me have no doubt you’ll get there ❤️ So glad you talked a bit about anxiety for exams and failing tests. I’m a law student (graduating soon ahhh) with major fear of failure, which often causes panic attacks before exams. Showing us yourself in such a vulnerable state the night before your test and stating that you sometimes have failed tests as well makes me feel so much less stressed and alone. Thank you for that!

Trust me dropping out at this point isnt worth it I would keep going through as long as possible though it gets hard school is never easy and isnt meant to be easy

Girl it's totally normal! I was exactly like you yesterday and was super frustrated and took it out on some of my family members and wanted to cry so bad but I didn't really let myself but of course, some tears came out! I am glad you don't fake being happy and show us that you deal with the same things we all do unlike some RU-vidrs who act like their life is perfect. You are super strong and never give up which I love about you. You Inspire me to keep on going in school because I always want to give up. Especially as a freshman in college and with this pandemic I wish I could go to school because I have no motivation to do school online but I always think of you. You are super strong !

I literally saw this title and was like NO I WONT ALLOW IT 😂

you think it's bad until you graduate college. Then you are like that went fast and wasn't too bad. Then you'll be on your way for a masters, doctorate, etc. Trust me, and I was at the head of my peers and worked as a lab teacher's assistant (organic 1&2, chem 111, 112, biochem and oceanography). In addition to honors, writing my honors thesis and all that. It'll work out, just try your hardest and don't over-stress because it always works out in the end.

Oh my goodness Gabreil, sometimes we all just need mental breaks, you try hard enough and dont doubt yourself on that. What you are doing is actually REALLY hard and takes lots of the brain power and makes you burn out. You have so much support from everyones, us, your family, friends, boyfriend, i know at schools/colleges there is also counselors to help you ease your anxieties. I am in college, so i do understand, not as hard as your course, but they will drop 10 assignments in not even a month, 2 projects that my group has to present, and big books of reading and lots of self reflections, its a hassle and it makes my brain moosh, i feel doubtful because of my learning disability, it really holds me back, but taking it day by day, admiring your own strength, and taking in the guidance from others, will definitely lead you the path you desire.

Its you and us against the world, always keep fighting, keeps looking at the light at the end of the tunnel and run for it cause we all know you can beat this and smash this goal ❤ we love you gab keep your head up you got this and the family will be rooting for you

Anxiety is such a real thing girl. It’s okay to take a break. It’s okay to cry. Your feelings are valid. It’s so hard to go through these things especially for school and especially when you have so much on your plate. It may not be okay right now, but it will be. Just know that it’s okay to drop things to give yourself a break when you need it so you don’t spread yourself too thin. Hang in there, you’re doing great ❤️

When you said “Gabrielle you have to stop crying by 9:30 or else”, I felt that because in college you have to time everything even your mental break downs and it’s so exhausting. Like sometimes you just want to cry and feel bad for yourself but it’s like you can’t because you have a test or some huge project due the next day. I’m in college right now and I totally understand.

This college advice is SO genuine and accurate. I’m a senior in college, applying to graduate school and it has NOT been easy. My sister is an organic chemistry major and a senior and it has been a challenge. Thank you for the great advice!

Hey Love, I’m also a college student. I take clinical psychology and it’s so hard, I procrastinated once thinking I would be fine and it hit me hard. I suffer from panic attacks and trust me I’ve wanted to quit too but I know I wouldn’t cause I’d hate myself later. Just remember this is so worth it, later you get to enjoy the field you love and you can live your life. It’ll be okay ♥️ you are so so strong, look how far you’ve made it! DON'T GIVE UP GAB!!! I know school can be really overwhelming and stressful because I'm a college student myself going through the same thing but you can't let it overpower you and make you drop out. Just pray, revise, take as many breaks a needed and make sure you're comfortable when studying, and Take deep breaths. If it gets overwhelming, step away from the books and relax and clear your mind for an hour- hour and a half and then go back to it. You're such an amazing and I know that you'll get through this. Don’t drop out Gab ‼️ You worked so hard to get there, the finish line is steps away ✨ I can relate, in these days studying is a lot about memorizing for short term and we feel so much stress ✨ I had to memorize 8 full binders for exams this year (passed brilliantly even though it was a lot) and will have around 6 next year too, to be able to go to uni. What matters is that you understand what you revise, you study for like 1h30 and then take a short break and repeat, and don’t overstress if you couldn’t go through everything 😊 Your brain will tell you you can’t learn all of this because it’s so much, but the truth is : you can ! Once you convince yourself of it, it becomes a bit easier. In the end it’s your decision, but we all believe in you 👍🏼✨

You are right, there is so much more going on in students lives. I have a lot of mental break downs like this as well. You are smart and will get through it! My advice : all these years I have struggled to get straight As and would often end up with more then a couple Bs. So I would continue to work harder and harder. It worked until I got to a point where I would try to focus on what I’m trying to learn so much I would forget to write homework and get a zero the next day. Or I would work so hard on trying to study to get a perfect grade I would forget about other quizzes, assignments, and homework. I finally loosened up. I write all my homework when I’m supposed to even if it means loosing thirty seconds of paying close attention. When I go home I eat a snack watch a video then do my homework. Then I check if I have any tests or quizzes I need to study for. Lastly I work on a project or if i don’t have any just call a friend or family member. My grades went up. I did better than I thought I would and I felt better too. The advice I’m giving you is if you ever feel stressed or overwhelmed remember it’s ok to take a break. It’s okay to rest. Remember to take a step back and refresh. Remind yourself everyday you are kind beautiful amazing and smart. Treat yourself.
