The airline can buy you a new one exactly like the one that their luggage staff spoiled. You go to the damaged goods counter and make a claim for your damaged bag. It is normally located near where you collect your luggage, just before you go out of the Airport. If it is unrepairable, they will give you one or refund you money. All airlines has that service. A wedding ring is not something to worry about because it's not really part of African culture....... it's just a harmless foreign inconvenience. In Africa we express our deep love in other meaningful ways ❤

It's true & it isn't a Hebrew tradition either which is why I didn't get married wearing one because it actually places a condition on the man ($) since a rings worth is usually determined by the carat abyway but besides that my people were slave descendants so when did they honestly ever have money for such thing's FYI IT'S VAIN aka FOR SHOW
It happened to me also Trudy, I travelled to nigeria and during check in, I was asked to pull my ring too and thats how I forgot it, thank God my husband is an understanding man though i was with my children. Thank God you found yours, Accra is beautiful
My daughter and her family visited me in July from UK to here Canada. Their 3 suitcases were misplaced, left in IRELAND, yet they were coming to Toronto. 3 days without their luggage. They had to buy while waiting for the luggage to arrive. These airlines are all upto something Trudy. So I understand what you went through.
The ring is just a symbol or token that reminds one of the vow made but I think that the most important thing that matters most is actually the vow and commitment you both made to each other and staying true to that because for me, I feel it’s a matter of the heart then before rings 😅

You look so beautiful Miss Trudy. There was a time when in the US, we could check in for our flight the least was 30 minutes. After 9-11, we were told to check in the least, two hours. We used to have friends and family go with us right up to the gate and wave as you enter the plane from a particular area, now they have to say goodbye at the drop-off. Things are so different now. Those guys and any other throwing our suitcases around needs to get fired, they hate their job, and new people who love to work should be hired. Some people don't appreciate having jobs, while others are seeking hard for any paying job. I have family in different parts of Ghana, and I'm still dreaming of visiting there.💖💖 Thanks for sharing and enjoy!👍🏽

You got to understand airport bag attendants. The job is heavy lift, they got a tight schedule to adhere to which makes it a fast paced environment, they got long distances to walk and move and shift, they got thousands ou bags to deal with in their shift. Yes the job is tough and the bag got to be tough too
the African Countries got more or less a Agreement like the Schengen Countries in Europe... You can cross borders ( the same like at a Airport ) just with Your ID Card... as a frequent Traveler You should know...

The reason some people rush to get off the flight at it is because they have connecting flights to get on to, they have to get off that flight so fast, so they can check in onto the other flight in time so as not to miss their flight.
