This man is now twisting and what to confused others. According to the hadith Mankind fate ( destiny) has been already been planned by Allah. So if one steals it was his/ her fate to steal. Just like Adam when he sinned in the garden of Eden it was already planned , that should be his fate. My brethen Adam was even telling Moses not to blame him for that. He is not zr fault of whzt God has prepared/ planned for his fate. From the hadith devine will ( al Qadar), Even Adam told Moses not to blame him for actions which Allah has written in his fate, for forty years before his creation so Adam prove Moses wrong of blaming him of the sin he committed. Why? Because Allah had planned about his fate, ( what should be happening to him) so what happened to him he was not to be blamed of because according to his statement Allah has already planned about his fate before he was even created. So he made Moses know that what happened to him he is blameless. This lan what to outsmart people by twisting the word. Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Adam and Moses argued with each other. Moses said to Adam. 'O Adam! You are our father who disappointed us and turned us out of Paradise.' Then Adam said to him, 'O Moses! Allah favored you with His talk (talked to you directly) and He wrote (the Torah) for you with His Own Hand. Do you blame me for action which Allah had written in my fate forty years before my creation?' So Adam confuted Moses, Adam confuted Moses," the Prophet (ﷺ) added, repeating the Statement three times.

Argument between Adam and Moses: Do you blame me for an act Allah has ordain to make it Happen? He even went to heaven too. This engineer man is smart enough to fall for this lies. This man want to twist the hadith because himself he realised that it is sensless in this way. Because the word planned means something that has been arranged for it to happened so pre- planned means ealier arranged , earlier calculated etc. So this means that Allah arranged or calculated what should be the life of Mankind earlier before creation of mankind. That is why Adam told Moses not to blame him for ACTION Allah has enticed him to do so. Meaning according to this hadith when we steal it is Allah that made is so, when we succed it is Allah that made is to be so even before we were created. That is why Adam told Moses not to blame him for his error because he was enticed to do so 40 years before his creation. Guys you too study the Quran and the hadiths yourselves and din't let this lan deceive you. There was an argument between Adam and Moses (peace be upon both of them) in the presence of their Lord. Adam came the better of Moses. Moses said: Are you that Adam whom Allah created with His Hand and breathed into himHis sprit, and commanded angels to fall in prostration before him and He made you live in Paradise with comfort and ease. Then you caused the people to get down to the earth because of your lapse. Adam said: Are you that Moses whom Allah selected for His Messengership and for His conversation with him and conferred upon you the tablets, in which everything was clearly explained and granted you the audience in order to have confidential talk with you. What is your opinion, how long Torah would haye been written before I was created? Moses said: Forty years before. Adam said: Did you not see these words: Adam committed an error and he was enticed to (do so). He (Moses) said: Yes. Whereupon, he (Adam) said: Do you then blame me for an act which Allah had ordained for me forty years before He created me? Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: This is how Adam came the better of Moses.

@@Clearify7 so you saying God is forcing you do to everything you doing in your life. In that scenario human isn't to blame. Do you think God who created everything making human body organs which works differently that supports our life for many years. Make mistake like this common sense. And you are asking about Adam (AS) he is a prophet his intellectual is more then average human being why he repent and ask for forgiveness in first place. Because He knows God knows everything and that Is His mistake not God mistake. After everything being done person can say I did it even God write it and that I can't choose different path. Because God already knows and write it. That mean that had to happen. Stopping people from doing bad thing and bad acts isn't God responsibility he send us here for test not for correcting us it is us who had to make correct decisions.

The simple answer is Allah has seen the future. So he knows what choice you had made. and He has written it down in what we call Taqdeer. Now that can change whats written in our Taqdeer by DUA only to the Almighty Allah. There are alot of reference in QURAN to Whats gonna happen in Future. Even whats gonna happen on the day of judgement, becz Allah has seen the future. (Its not the case of ALLAH's Prediction, but ALLAH's knowledge based on what He has seen.) I am not an Aalim. its just my understanding of what it is.

Yes.. as a muslim I have came across with this question too before.. thanks to Allah, have give me guidance and confirmed my understanding by listen to one of great ustaz in my country, sharing the knowledge.. The answer is.. Allah almighty is all knowing.. Allah give us freedom of choice, which some of our path is also a test for us.. like Dr. Zakir said, at a junction of our life, we may have to decide which direction to make.. let say 1,2,3,4.. we choose 2.. Even we choose 2, Allah also knew the destiny of the others path that we haven't choose.. Allah knew all the destiny for every path in the junctions.. that's why we are different from angels.. we are have been given the free will which is freedom of choice.. but remember sometimes it also a test for us.. Allah already knew all.. only us as humble servants need to make decisions and craft our life journey.. That is the power all knowing.. Allah even knew our alternate life in every decision we have not makes.. mind blown..

Because i live in a muslim family, and studied in muslim school… i can understand it.. thank you Dr. Zakir Naik for the explanation. Because allah *have the power, the knowledge to know the future.. he know everything what will happen in the future. But the choice is on us. If we want to change, then we need to work. Its our faults for whatever we choose the way we live. You can’t say *allah leave us to astray.. since the choice is on us. This life is a test. If Allah want to, he can make every human go to paradise. But then, where is justice. Then you migh say *why Allah doing all this if some will go to hell to suffer? But then again, why you ask what tou don’t know.. everything already in the plan and Allah already send his messanger to to the world. It’s we who arrogant to not believe in his message and his signs.

Where is free will? Allah forces things on you - Narrated Abdullah: Allah's Apostle, the true and truly inspired said, "(as regards your creation), every one of you is collected in the womb of his mother for the first forty days, and then he becomes a clot for an other forty days, and then a piece of flesh for an other forty days. Then Allah sends an angel to write four words: He writes his deeds, time of his death, means of his livelihood, and whether he will be wretched or blessed (in religion). Then the soul is breathed into his body. So a man may do deeds characteristic of the people of the (Hell) Fire, so much so that there is only the distance of a cubit between him and it, and then what has been written (by the angel) surpasses, and so he starts doing deeds characteristic of the people of Paradise and enters Paradise. Similarly, a person may do deeds characteristic of the people of Paradise, so much so that there is only the distance of a cubit between him and it, and then what has been written (by the angel) surpasses, and he starts doing deeds of the people of the (Hell) Fire and enters the (Hell) Fire." If you sin, that means you have created the "will" to sin. According to muslims, Allah doesn't make us do sins. But we have created our own "will" to sin. So there is atleast one thing in the universe which allah hasn't created (my "will" to sin) If Allah hasn't created everything in this universe, he ceases to be the God.

Frankly speaking... I got the answer to this question when I was made aware of the concept of multi-verse or parallel universes😅. Allah the almighty knows everything, but yet he gave us the free will, yet we have the Shaitaan to misguide us, so the accountability and responsibilities of every choice/decision that we have made or yet to make... is solely upon us. We can't blame the almighty for our bad actions... the same way we don't like if somebody else gets a credit for our good work... so even if everything about is written in advance, its our deeds, our actions, our thought process, our faults or even our sins that make it to become a reality. Also the fact that humans cannot predict the future because we have our present... which is our chance to become a good human being, a better person... we get this chance each day till we are alive... to learn from our past and improve the quality of choices we make.😊

That leads us to trust in these kinds of people whose livelihood is based on the fear of people

I believe in the following concept, rest Allah Knows better: 1. Allah has written down our destiny, every possible outcome of every possible choice that we make. 2. We have free will 3. We choose, so a certain path is activated, but there are other choices and their related outcomes which were written by Allah 4. So when we make DUA for taqdeer, and IF the dua is accepted, those paths related to that DUA are chosen for us when we come to those cross roads. 5. Makes sense? 6. Another concept is that Allah knows 'ALL' but this life is PROOF for us, NOT for Allah because he already knows. For e.g. The day souls were born, IF Allah would've told so and so go to Heaven and so and so go to Hell, wouldn't we question? So... this life is an answer to that question.

Really? Then Zakir is wrong - Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Adam and Moses argued with each other. Moses said to Adam. 'O Adam! You are our father who disappointed us and turned us out of Paradise.' Then Adam said to him, 'O Moses! Allah favored you with His talk (talked to you directly) and He wrote (the Torah) for you with His Own Hand. *Do you blame me for action which Allah had written in my fate forty years before my creation?'* So Adam confuted Moses, Adam confuted Moses," the Prophet (ﷺ) added, repeating the Statement three times.

I have an analogy that I find helpful: say you watch World Cup final in replay. The result is “predetermined” in advance because the game has already been played. But when you watch the match, the players have “free will” and do their best to win. But the outcome is already determined. The players give it their best and run back and forth even though the result is predetermined when you are watching the match in replay.

The problem is that... It's not fun for the team who lose the game. They trained hard and do their best, but in the end they lose. It's okay if it's just a game where everyone is having fun regardless result. But this game is differemt... There is painful consequences, where the losing team will be punished.. I have not yet found any analogy that is able to truly represent this paradox of predestination and free will.

If I had no intention of doing that bad thing and did that unintentionally then no accountability.

So basically what I understood from this is for everytime we are given choices in life like road A and road B the outcomes of both the options no matter which one we choose is already written,we have to just make choice of choosing between path a and b and rest all like what will happen on choosing road A or road B is decided but not which road we will choose ,its our choice . Everything is written in our luck for what will happen with every option we choose or reject ,if good will happen or bad on any of them but it's still upto us to decide to choose between good and bad as its test and if we choose wrong path then no one's to blame except for ourselves only as we are free to make choice and choose between good and bad but what we will get after that is in our already written taqdeer as ultimate outcomes for both options are already set but we have to decide options outcome is best and hence we can't blame allah for outcomes. Please someone tell me if i understood this correctly or not and correct me if something's wrong in what i understood.

One of the attributes of Allah is that He is the All-knowing. It's not because he predicts the future, but He knows everything, just like it's happened for Him. One of the reasons can be because of the time difference. The thing we call time is different for us and for Allah. But these kinda things are not available for us to understand (I mean the difference of time (however we have an example of the time difference between a black hole's and the Earth's (they differ))). Of course we don't know how it actually works. So, He makes us choose and make decisions about our life with challenges, however in the same time He knows what we will do. As you can see He knows, but doesn't force. Ve Allahu a'alam. I hope there's no mistake, tell me if I have one

In simple words you’re questioning that Almighty who created the element of time and space doesn’t have complete knowledge of it? Also Allah himself says humans are the best creation and even better that the angels because he has given us free will. So indeed we are the owners of our own destiny,we still can change it in a good or bad way. Allah just have this knowledge before hand because he is the owner of time. There’s nothing called past, present or future for Allah . He is omnipotent

People of the past couldn't explain this concept properly. With today's knowledge, we can say that "Allah is independent of time. He knows past, present and future. Just like a time travel". Allah knows everything as he is independent of time. Everytime we have free-will. We always have the choice between good and bad. We get punished and rewarded from the choices we make. Allah always knows the outcome. Hope it is relatable.

from the conclusion of the Quran and Hadith, we can know. God knows everything. He created our destiny. and he creates the path of one's destiny with various paths. that is, the path to good and the path to evil. God knows we choose evil, and God knows we choose good. even though God knows the choices of man. but, God also gives us the power of freedom of choice. that's why future questions are secret questions. our brain is given knowledge according to what we learn through Al Quran. as well as the question of who made God? before God what was there before? All of this cannot be imagined by humans because the human mind is limited, but the knowledge that God gives through the Holy Book of the Quran.

If the teacher knows everthing in advance, and therefore is NOT giving the tests to students who will fail (or help them in any shape or form) the entire PURPOSE of the dunya gets invalid. Allah would delete the entire purpose of everything, there would be only people who pass the test eventually, and what is the value of those people then, when we created the same as the Angels at the end ? And why should we REWARD those, when there is nobody, who is failing? The entire value gets shredded aswell. think about it. I already knew the answer to this question.

Let me ask it in a different way. Let's consider a case, a girl runs away with his boyfriend and is unfortunately duped by the boyfriend. Now we can say she had made her choice so this is he destiny. But at the same time, the father of that girl divorces the girl's mother saying she did not look after the girl properly. Now the question is, her mother did not ask her to run away, it is not the mother 's choice but she still has to face the divorce trauma. Was this trauma written in her destiny? If yes, then since this trauma was written in mother's destiny, the girl has to run away. And if the answer is No, then why did the mother suffer for something which she did not take any step for it (she didn't choose to do so) Please answer.

It's very simple. Everything whatever you do is your own choice. Bad or good, it's all you who will be hold countable because of the choices you made. The tricky thing where people have trouble with is that Allah already knows every step you will make and choose. Because of your actions and choices, Allah already knew, and he wrote it down. Even if you want to make dua to change your destiny, even that is also written down. Allah even knows what you didn't do, but what will happen if you choose to do it. That shows that every individual can make his own choices , but whatever, Allah knows already. So don't blame Allah for his knowledge. Because of his knowledge, you have to praise him even more because this is 1 of the great attributes of Allah, and that's why he is the only 1 to worthy to worship. There is nothing else with this power, so fear Allah and try to make good choices for yourself and in the sake of Allah.

For those who are still confused or need clarity, this is how understood about this long ago during my search. In simple words, Allah has written all possible outcomes for all kinds of actions one might choose. We have the free will to choose whichever action we like. Based on what we choose Allah has already written what will be the outcome of it. Also Allah is beyond our time frame of things like past present or future. It is we who depend on time. May Allah forgive me if there's any mistake and grant us the correct knowledge of deen. Aameen

The ideology itself seems flawed. You mentioned that God gave us free will, but this notion appears absurd because, fundamentally, free will is merely an illusion arising from the complex computations within our minds. Upon closer examination, one realizes that our choices are heavily influenced by our current mindset, which is shaped by our past experiences. Consider this analogy: just as you can predict the future positions of a ball based on known constraints like applied force and coordinates, our decisions seem predictable when viewed through the lens of our cognitive processes. Fundamentally, everything, including the workings of our brain, is governed by the laws of physics. Therefore, while we may perceive ourselves as having free will, our actions are ultimately determined by these underlying principles.

@@lsd-di1em Ofcourse true. Our actions are influenced by various factors including the ones you have mentioned. A person decides not to drink alcohol based on what he learnt from his religion that it is haram(forbidden). So that action is based on his understanding of the religious text. At the same time there are many muslims who clearly knows its forbidden to drink alcohol but still indulges in it. So basically they have chosen not to follow the religion in totality but to follow their desires.

@Safeer2.0 Can God create a stone so heavy that even He cannot lift it? This inquiry delves into the very concept of omnipotence. If God were to create such a stone, it implies a limitation to His power, suggesting that He is not truly omnipotent. Conversely, if God cannot create such a stone, it suggests a limitation to His knowledge or foresight, undermining His omniscience. For example, if God cannot lift the stone, it implies that there is something beyond His power, thus challenging the notion of His omnipotence. And the concept of omniscience also presents a fascinating dilemma regarding divine foreknowledge and free will. Consider this: if God possesses complete knowledge of His future choices, it seems to imply a predetermined course of action. For instance, if God knows with certainty what He will choose to do at any given moment in the future, it suggests that His actions are predetermined, leaving little room for genuine free will. This raises the question: if God's choices are already known, can He truly posses free will in the traditional sense? On the other hand, if God does not possess knowledge of His future choices, it challenges the notion of His omniscience, suggesting a limitation to His foreknowledge. This paradox highlights the intricate interplay between divine attributes such as omniscience and the concept of free will, urging us to grapple with the complexities of understanding the nature of terms that possess infinity. And to be honest, I really admire you for not blindly believing things. Cheers!

Allah has given us choice …that is the real struggle…Allah has told us in Quran sharief do good that will bring u good deeds if we do wrong ..bad deeds will be written..so this is the reason why we are given life …every time in life we have 2 ways Good and bad ..what we choose is upon us..weather it is earning money .etc The way we choose to earn depends upon humans..that is what Allah watches every time ..what his creation will do..good or bad..

it is very simple if you are still confused then i will try to explain it in my own style .Suppose that you watched a film and then you wrote it in a full detailed way. Then a friend of yours will come and say lets watch this movie you have already watched it but you don't tell your friend that you have watched it.then you both start to watch the movie as the movie progresses you tell your friend that now the hero will become a murderer. And after some time the hero does in the film and your friend also see the diary where you have already written it that this and that will happen. now your friend will be shocked that oh its all your fault its not the hero that choosed to become a murderer but you have made the hero a murderer bcz you have written it on your diary and it is preplanned by you.but thats not the real case you will tell your friend that its a film that i have already watched as a result of which i knew that hero is going to become a murderer.i didnt make the hero murderer but the hero himself choose i just knew.In this the I is god and the film is this world and the friend is you

It’s simple, a historian writes a history book, but does that mean he controlled the battlefields? , Allah wrote history but just before the battle .

The summary at the end is wrong. You said he knows what’s going to happen with you but he also doesn’t know what going to happen with you. He was saying that Allah writes your story before it’s happened. But you were the one that made your story by your decisions. He only knows what’s going to happen but controls very little of what does happen.

I’m still not satisfied with his explanation. Allah has to will for anything to happen, that should mean our thoughts, feelings and ideas come from Him. So technically he made the choice for us. We are here to witness his choice and what follows after that choice. Thats my opinion. May Allah guide us all.
