I wanted something rwd manual, and I was looking into a prestine 93 S14 with a kouki front end. It was listed for 17500. My mom didn't want me to get it, so she didn't co sign the loan. With no credit, asked usaa and they gave me 12800. With my savings, went to the shop owner, man said he was firm. Went back home to start looking again. Found a 2008 miata, it was already sold. Kept looking and found a nice orange si. Went the same day and bought it. No regrets since.
@@trevonlang8665 Just walk into a local bank or credit union and ask about it. They will usually give you a general idea of what their rates would be if you tell them your credit score, what car you're looking at, what your budget is, etc. If they try to pre-approve you, be sure that you really want to go with that bank because a pre-approval will do a hard inquiry on your credit and you don't want too many of those. Also, try to go with a credit union instead of a bank if you can, they will usually have lower interest rates, need less down payments, have grace periods for late payments, and just be better than a bank in general. Credit union will usually require you to have a savings or checking account already with them before getting a loan though.
@@zoovie we have mugen support but exclusively for the Asian market primarily the 12 fb6 is the jdm chassis. The mugen kit was release for the 14-15 Asian model which is our 12 usdm model. The side skirts, wheels visor, rear wing are things I kno fit without any issue. But you will need the 12 front end to do the mugen conversion. Just putting it out there zoovie like what your doing keep it up. Had my 9th gen since 13 and still love it.
Infiniti G37 sedan, but I wanted better fuel mileage so that’d have been stupid, I found my 9th gen Si coupe a couple months ago with 155,000k in a color I didn’t want with a beat up stained old clear bra hanging off of it smelling like cigarettes inside. But it drove well, I had the dealership professionally steam clean and shampoo the entire interior and I’ve been working on her ever since. Best decision I ever made… there was just something about it when I drove it
I wanted a 17 Malibu before I got my si. Fell in love with the si before I got to the dealership to buy it tho when I met someone on base to take me there in one. Low and behold they had a blue 9th gen for 14k and I ended up buying it. Didn't even know how to drive manual, but it was the best decision I could have made that day
I had a similar situation...went to the dealership to look at a whole other car and saw my si there all black looking so clean. Didn't even test drive and i was sold
Facts bro i try not to put too many miles on it cus its already high mileage but at the same time i dont really care cus its my project car and im keepin it gonna rebuild it all that good stuff when the motor eventually goes, no sign of that yet though its so smooth , 8th gen fwiw
@@jamespuckett1770 yeah same here I just tell myself it's a car and its built to be drove/driven lol,I had a 02 ep3 hatch with 273,000+ miles and that thing would not die and it's still on the road today with the same motor, gotta love k series
@@dailycivicsi9295 awesome bro, makes me feel a little bit better at mine [188000]. I lucked out with one that was taken care of, no gear grinds or popouts even at redline, came with new shifter bushings, alternator, clutch, and starter[like 5 miles on all parts]. Paint is still in good condition no clearcoat fade i think cus its tafetta white. Only things ive done so far that broke/maintenance are fluid changes, valve tappet adjustment, idler/tensioner pulleys and belt, ac compressor, and motor mounts. Can put all that extra money instead into my supercharger kit next summer 😍
I wanted a 9th gen from the start. I searched for months on end till I found a white 2015 si with only 65k miles in Tampa that met the specs And damn she clean in and out. Got my Si in May and it’s been a great car. Love the content. 💯
Currently drive a 2014 cx5 suv. Wanted to lower it and make it cool and unique. But it’s so boring driving an automatic suv. Considering moving back to manual cars like these.
Its all wrong for the chinese/ japanese character, but its okay if you sell them in the states. 信 this single character represents more like trust rather than faith, while 爱 represents love. For a chinese person, when we pronounce 信爱 without looking at those characters, it sounds like 性爱, which means sex
My 9th gen is my heart. Fell in love with it in high school and three years later I bought a dyno blue sedan & learned how to drive it right off the lot. Vtec on a daily basis
Great video my man, I own a 2015 with only one mod, an axle back so I can hear that sweet 2.4 singing, it's only got 25k mile's on it, I love it... btw I'm 61 years old! 😱
My first car was a black, 8th gen Coupe (EX I believe). Her name was Cindy; I Fucking loved that car even though it was automatic and slow as shit lol have a 10th gen SI now 💯
Bro u need to put some HOOD SPACERS hooooly shit is gonna pop out hella please idk if u like em but the car gonna be easily the best looking car around !!
I wash mine every week 🤦🏽♂️ First car was a '93 EG Hatch, after that my moms has an 8th gen SI, and always wanted my own. Legit had the same problem you had and couldn't find a clean one. started falling in love with the 9th gens, bought it on my birthday 3 years ago, don't regret a damn thing !!! And honestly feel like this is the last true SI with the 10th gens having turbo Shout out the 9th gen SI gvng 🙏🏽
Good price 06-08 has a 3rd gear / shift cable issue is what I'm reading, I saw a 08, modded , 120k miles and they wanted Fn $11,900 for it. I wanted a 2013 or older with the 2.4 engine. .... avoid the 1.5 turbo
I wanted a Subaru STI before I found my 9th gen Si. I was so adamant about not getting another Honda vehicle. But looking back on it now, I'm glad I did. No issues with my car since I bought it in 2015. Finished paying it off earlier this year so I'm ready to do some serious mods.
I had an 08 civic lx, wanted an Si so bad. Paid off that car and got a 2015 civic Si 2 months later, best decision ever. Ive had mine 3 years now and no problems at 90k miles, such a great car
wanted a 05'-06' low mile rsx-s.couldnt find one.seen the 9th gen coupe 15', fell in love with the interior, bought it.2 years just brake pads and oil changes.runs great .love it.
Wanted a Clean IS300 I had a 05 black one it was alright it had a hit from the back with tan interior no AC then I got 4 tickets and had to sell it & got my tickets thrown out then I got a 03 and got screwed over with it was a COD so it was only made for parts then I eventually got rid of it now I have a 04 IS300 😂😂 with black leather with ice cold AC and I love it and it’s a sport design with a color that you don’t see everyday 👌& my Instagram @2jzgeoo if you want to check it out also check out my channel💯
My dude, we have the exact same car. 9th gen blue si sedan. I kid you not. When I found your videos I was like “that looks exactly like mine!”. I also wanted a 8th gen sedan but couldn’t find one with low miles and ended up falling in love with the 9th gens. I started off with an 2000 Lx Sedan then learned manual in a 04 TSX that gave me problem after problem! Then I finally got the 9th Gen. Crazy how similar we are! Love your videos!
I got a 94 Accord and a 99 Town Car. Want something newer to my collection. Been debating on a 8th or 9th gen Si to buy. But now, I got my motorcycle license and been drooling on those Rykers. So my dilemma. Lol
I first had a Saturn ion then a Honda LX both automatics then wanted something with a little more speed I was looking at WRX but didn’t really find any I liked and then test drove a 2012 9th gen loved it got it drove it for 5years then it’s just got totaled and just got another 2012 sedan si 9th gen. Love these cars!
Man I remember I wanted a wrx sti so bad at that time I was willing to risk it all,but didn’t work out then I got my 8th gen si nd best decision I ever made now with fully build motor,5862 turbo nd E85 it’s slaying almost everything car in the street nd looks so clean 👌🏼
For my first car, I wasn't sure what I wanted beside a manual transmission. I really like the mk6 Vw Jetta. I didn't fell in love at first but I wanted to modify that joint and have fun. I had a vision, and now the reality is looking better than the vision. I'm glad I bought it
i wanted to get a 10th gen si but went w/ the 9th gen for the price. absolutely love it & im glad i went with the 9th gen, sounds a lot nicer than the 10ths
I was looking at 8th gens but they were all beat up. Found a 2015 si for $11,500. Aftermarket rims, exhaust, intake, tint and coil overs. Clean. Supposed to pick it up Friday
What are you guys paying monthly for the quote, and thats finance and insurance im asking for. Year and mileage? Want to make sure I'm not over paying....
Funny you were looking at GTIs because I owned a 2002 GTI and 2011 GTI and they were both good to me... until they weren’t. Now I drive a 2015 Civic Si and I love it. I’m from South Florida too
Ive been looking at wrx’s and the Mazdaspeed 3, but after doing a lot of research and a lot of looking and test driving cars I stumbled upon the 9th gen. I had never even considered a 9th gen until I stumbled upon one at a dealership. I am currently trying to buy the 9th gen from the dealership, and I am hopeful that everything will workout!
I had a 1995 oldsmobile beater and was looking for a mustang as an upgrade. Very glad I went with the 9th gen. It’s a much better car for a daily in Illinois
@Bryce Czirr Give a car the hit and still get walked like crazy. Btw that 450 is on 93 pump 12.5 psi. Poor guy id have to lower it to 8-9 to even make it entertaining
You got to buff and polish the clear coat until you get all the orange peal off the paint. Its small hills and valleys in the clear coat you can't see but your car can pick up. I could do it for you if your in ga
Just got an orange fire pearl fb6 to learn manual on and get into modding! While I love it to pieces, I'm still trash at start from stops... All a matter of practice though! Love the vid and build bro!
Thx for sharing bruh! We only got 9th gen Si here in Chinese market, due to the poor marketing and stupid pricing, about only 400 copies were sold in 2014. Now used ones cost about the same as when they’re new, but it’s about the only thing with big NA engine and a proper MT gearbox. Sad but still happy that we have it here anyway, saving up for mine.
Fire video bro 🔥 . You had me rolling 0:43 🤣 I got a Si 2012 fb6 but wanted a WRX Sti. But i def made the right choice. It’s reliable asf and the best looking Si imo. I see you from FL too. I’m from Dade
I had a 95 si, sold and got a eclipse gst, still have the gst parked and non oped, I own a neon srt4 now and love it but still miss that all motor power
Ty man you helped me make my decision on a daily driver. 9th gen stock form is mehh but cheap tasteful mods go a long way. Now I can park my Shelby. 👍🏽
9th gens are nice. My boy has a 9th gen and it was clean at first but now his brother fucked it up with all rice mods. But during that time when he got it out the used dealership. It was nice and all stock, joint was super clean. Story about my car is that at first, I wanted to get a reliable SUV. I was looking into Pilots or even a toyota 4runner. But for some reason my boy convinced me to get a SI. I wanted a car that was reliable. He sent me a link to a orange/redline pearl color 09 Si (8th gen) and I was just like... i gotta had that. I had for two years and let me tell ya, the way it pulls and gas efficient as well? Best of both worlds. Never regret it of getting it. I know Im 8th gen but all in all at the end its still a honda. Gotta love all hondas out there.
Facts bro .. your 8th gen is exactly what I wanted but you’re lucky to find a clean one in south Florida.. matter of fact , your lucky to find a clean 8th gen si in south Florida period. Either it’s really clean but mileage is high .. or its really beat. But I’m glad I got a 9th Gen Si

I had a 2000 jetta vr6 5 spd ... I look at gti. And wrx but the Civics were reliable so I looked at the 8th gen as well but I couldn't find one so I ended up with a 2012 Honda Civic SI brother you motivated me to keep on hooking this car up I have music but now it's time to get my motor together and it's cheap I see ✌🏿
I also wanted an 8th gen but like you, i wanted a clean one and couldn’t find it till i seen two 9th gens at a honda dealership and got me a red 2013 sedan. Car got totaled by a drunk woman so rip to it and now i have 2016 Silverado.
@@KeysWithSoul26 I love it, i would recommend you get the 2.4 #Kseries great after market world if you like that and extremely reliable. Its a great car. Really you cant go wrong with the inline 4 or the 6.
@@Woahxofficial Thanks. I wouldn’t mind having the 4-cylinder for the better fuel economy. Whichever one I can find with a manual first for a reasonable price-I’ll go with it.
I was looking at an 8th gen too when my eg sedan broke on me i was really struggling getting to work and so on Test drove a few 8th gen si and one was ok just didnt like how had a front fender damage and could hear the rack cracking when turn then saw this 9th gen was like idk dont want it but then i got it said was going to keep stock a year later... coilovers, camber arms, k tuned muffler, 1320 catless downpipe, visors, 5% all around tint and 30% windshield tint, changed head unit to touchscreen with gauges in radio, kicker speakers all around, weighted shifter, and still more to come. Still have my eg sedan building engine for turbo and shaved bay coming up lol
I got 8th gen fg2 for 3yrs now. When i was looking to buy a car, it was acura rsx or any car that is manual and around $10k. Im having issues from my cmc and slave cynlinder .
Sold my 8th gen a few months ago because I don’t need a car where I’m at currently, debating on getting another 8th gen si or going for the 9th gen si when I get back to the states
I’m at 84 k miles in my 9th gen. I fucking love my car. It’s all stock, and I think it’s fun. I’m going to either get a Subaru or a 370z orrr a gti later on down the road
Not gonna lie I definitely want to get my 9th gen si coupe wrapped in a dark blue color cause it’s currently white and gets dirty to easily but looks nice when it’s cleaned tho lol
First car was a manual 03 civic a year ago until it started burning oil, fell in love with Honda and started looking for an si and found a rebuilt 9th coupe with 60k miles for 11k unfortunately it wasn’t the nice blue like yours instead it was black but a 9th si is 9th si. Sold my 2003 civic and saved up money for a down payment and got a co sign from my mom since I’m not 18 but it will all be under my name in a couple days (turning 18 soon) just focusing on paying off the car right now so I can do some major mods. I know I put myself in debt early on but this 9th gen puts a smile on my face every time I interact with it and thinking about what I’m going to do with it in the future gets me so excited! #Noregrets #Siboy4life
Picked up a rallye red coupe a couple weeks ago. Got it for a awesome deal because the last owner did a HORRIBLE plastidip job and fucked up a lot of trim and moulding. Got the parts on order and almost all the dip is taken off. Once I get the outside looking right it’s getting full bolt ons and tune. Keeping mine forever cuz 9th gems are gonna go away up in value in the future
