I bought mine for the same reason. Cheaper on payments ,insurance , and gas. An extra 500 a month in my pocket. Not trying to street race every day, so didn't make sense for me. Like the content.
I bought my 2016 RT Super Track Pack in 2019 and have been modding it since I got it. Currently have 87mm ported tb, e85, tuned by DiabloSport, full straight pipe, going headers and a cam soon
@@yinzblade also I got the cheapest used rt I could find only paid 18k for the car like 3 k in mods don’t think you can find a scat for 21-22k unless it’s stolen or the same exact year as my rt
I had a challenger SRT before I had my current Charger RT. Payment is basically the same that just depends on how much you pay for car not the trim. The insurance is the exact same as the SRT. Listed on progressive as 4 door v8. They don’t care if it’s half a liter bigger. The 6.4 will make more power then the 5.7 per mod. I got my RT to mod it just cause I got tired of people shit talking a rt. There’s allot of mods that would go into the ability of walking a scat. Not as easy as people think. Depending on where you live and if you do your own work you’ll be paying a pretty penny to just equal a scat.
Much respect for anyone whos willing to downgrade in car to have more money in your pocket. Ignore the haters. When you retire in your 40s while theyre still working/struggling well into their 70s, they going to be jealous
I traded in my challanger SXT for a challanger scat pack I couldn't be happier to each there own I was considering an R/T but the monstrous muscle power of the scat won me over if the R/T makes u happy that's all that matters brother nice ride MOPAR OR NO CAR!!
It’s nothing wrong with affordability my brother. Be proud everyone at different lives stages some people parents got money some people working that 9-5 bringing the bag
I got my 2021 Daytona 392 F8 Green with 23k miles for $41k; 500hp is more than enough for me. I test drove a hellcat and absolutely loved it but just couldnt justify paying that type of money monthly which was only a couple of hundred shy of my mortgage 😂
Congrats on ur car, whatever fits ur budget & this come from a Scat owner. As long as it makes sense 4 u. Personally the scat is the middle ground . But as u said it depends what u need it for.✌️
I got a 93 octane tune and long tube headers with high flowing cats to the crank I’m at 415hp and 453 of torque it’s a super fun car to mod and responds well with mods
He probably has a Z automotive tazer. Search it up, abou 200 dollars, easy to install, and gives you all of the SRT pages that hellcats come with. Doesnt void warranty, and easy to remove. I plan to get one for my RT soon. :)
I know that the V6 is cheaper than a V8 version but to be honest, it’s nothing to brag about. I hope you get the opportunity to buy a V8 Challenger one day! 🙂
@@RobsGravity I’m not "biased". I love Japanese and German cars which for the most part have 4 and 6 cylinder engines. It just feels off when an American sports car doesn’t have a V8… It’s part of American Car culture! 🙂
smart bro i did the same shit with bimmer. wanted reliability, low insurance, low miles, nobody going crazy on it, most 335/340's are beat up. i got a 328i 2018 with all the new shit, 40k miles and it was a rental. with a tune that shit pushing around 300-340hp or sumn. i dont care about speed at all, my brother got disabled and my cousin died in car accidents. so aslong as its quick enough and fun, im blessed. one day im getting an m3 f80 thoo, thats the dream car
@@tylerhawkins888lmao that’s exactly how I was feeling after I bought my RT. I started seeing crazy deals on scats. Should’ve just waited a little n got a scat😂
Now I’ve had a 2015 Charger R/T and a 2015 Challenger! They both where very fun car… but now I got a SRT 392 Jeep Grand Cherokee all wheel drive & when I say the power difference is night and day OMGGGGG!!! A lot of people want to save money and that’s cool, but don’t down play the 392 saying it’s almost the same as a 5.7 or (345) but facts you can mod the R/T to be fast as a hellcat where the 392 is what it is a natural beast! you can’t push out to much more power! Maybe a super charger some headers and a cam & a tune? Boost is a no go on the 392.. but far as which one to buy get what works for you they both produce enough power…
Yeah I just bought one like a week ago love driving it’s dodge charger rt for 32k$ with 40k miles going up load video soon keep grind going brother 🤙🏼💯
