X3M, the VW Tiguan R was another and the jeep SRT8, also considered the Audi RSQ3 also - but for me Merc won on engine, driveline, sound, and blending all of the the other cars good points into what I think is the most rounded package of all of them

get an x3m/x4m if u are going 2019 or newer. i promise you will have the most fun with the s58 engine

Not that I’m aware of - had a huge service done ✅ on the car about 6 weeks ago - A service + B service. Front and rear diff service, transfer case service, transmission oil service new intakes, BOV, all seems sweet so far.

Could be a number of things. I haven’t had this come up since and it went away after refilling the car? Hasn’t popped up since I’ve done this video

Check engine light has gone away - I haven’t been able to pin point anything concrete. The car runs fine and all systems fluids etc are ok, apart from the washer fluid which is empty and it wouldn’t surprise me if it’s that so I’m topping it up tomorrow. I do also read up that tuned M177 need new plugs at around 60000km and I have just done 62000km - so this could be the reason also as it can cause a misfire with bad plugs etc.

@ssidewayz I highly doubt washer fluid being low would cause a check engine on a 2019 GLC 63s. A scan from an OBD2 reader would show exactly what's going on. Could be the plugs, but you won't know until doing a scan.

It also goes away sometimes if you open and close it but also went away once fuel level dropped one bar

Hey mate yeh I have read it - tbh there’s a million things it could be with these euro electronic things - just the nature of the beast. I haven’t had the issue crop up since I had it serviced with new spark plugs and major A * B service was performed and since then I’ve tried out launch control a few times and driven hard and hasn’t popped up so I’m thinking it might have been a fuel/spark reading issue. Quite common on these at 60000km it is recommended to throw new plugs at them especially on tuned cars where they are fueled up more the plugs can go dirty easily and will then give engine misfire under hard load etc

Urban about 16L/100km - mixed 14/15L/100km, long run 9L/10L/100km - but don’t expect economy

Mode plus track wheel spacer kit is the equivalent

@@rakishman1313 when the car is cold in sport + or Race yes - just the clutch/Gbox getting settled in until it’s at temp only for the first 5 mins or so

@@ssidewayz thanks for the reply for some reason it s very dramatic during normal traffic . On highways or given enough gas it s still there but not as bad . Will do the trans service soon sp maybe it ll get better

It wasn’t that loud in the car - unfortunately the audio on an iPhone is sensitive to background noise. We figured that out about 6/7 mins in and if you listen further in we turned it off.

It’s nothing to be worried about - since the video it hasn’t shown a check engine light for 10 months
