Don’t change it!! Keep leaf spring life alive. I have a buddy who has wheeled his whole life pretty hard (had an ultra 4 car at one time) recently built a YJ on coils. He hates it. He is considering tearing it all down and going back to leafs. We are building some cool jeeps these days on leafs and all our buddies look at us crazy when we do the same shit they do.

I remember most of those rigs you mentioned. Stuff was garage built, beat on hard. There was a tubed out flat fender with a ford ranger engine, sand color I alway thought that awesome
There were so many cool builds that came out of that erra. That sounds like Shannon Campbells flatty before he had the salmon colored one. It was tan and mainly tube chassis on I think 33 boggers with quarter elliptical rear springs
