Why I chose a Kessil A360X Over an AP9X! Reef Build *Part 5* 

Tank looks good. For one light, you are getting great coverage. I have the 2’ x 2’ cube. I have 2 AI hydras with 2 reef brites. For soft corals you’ll be fine. I have a sps tank so I have to combat shadowing. Before dropping another 6 hundred on another fixture, I would check out the Aquaticlife hybrid t5 fixture. Drop the kessil in the middle.

Looks good. I Have the AP9X on my tank and it is way over kill. I run it about 35% max intensity, I have a 50g lagoon. You should be fine if your going to run softies only and LPS.

I have waterbox 130.4, you said you would't get the kessil A160. Why? I would have to have 2 of them, maybe more. Thanks

Got an a360x yesterday. One thing that's dissapointing for me is that the fan is not a smart fan. It always runs at 100%, even if only the moonlight is on. So i can hear the fan running in my room (my tank itself is dead quiet, no skimmer). My previous $70 China led had a smart fan, it was dead silent.

Is that an SCA tank?
