thanks for acknowledging AHPs! there are many of us around working in different specialties and I'm glad our work is slowly becoming acknowledged within the community. being able to work with patients and their carers is definitely something that keeps me going everyday :)

These are guardian angles in every senses of the words. May they have all the blessings and live long and happiest lives. If heaven exists all will welcome them with open arms.

this video is so simple, yet so thoughtful and touching. It made me tear and realized that there are so many simpler things in life we can hold dear to, but often we neglect. Kudos to these team of healthcare professionals who pour their heart and soul.

Many Singaporean do not know or got fooled by others that SG healthcare is very expensive or the gov won't help. Actual fact the gov is helping and subsidizing alot. My uncles, 3 of them actually. All 3 are low income and their medical fees all free. Medical social workers helped them and gov paid for their medical bills 100%. 1 of my cousin couldn't work becos he was the only care taker of his father and he got $800 monthly from MSF so he could full time take care of his father.

as a person who goes in and out of hospitals since young ive always aspired to be a healthcare worker and tbvh i didnt do as well for my o levels so its harder for me to try to get into any school except for ite ite nitec did offer nursing course but i failed the interview i think because of my mental illnesses im gonna be frank i think my depression will affect the way i handle stressful situations in healthcare settings too and this made me feel very discouraged but i am going to try again after seeing this video

I am a student nurse , currently working in surgical ward and it is very normal to lose a patient or two every day like its crazy. I've been talking care of a very elderly patient for the past 2 weeks and he just passed away yesterday. It always scares me how normal I am with death.

Great job to all allied health professionals out there! really greatful for all the work everyone has been putting in to keep singapore safe.. Had a rather unpleasant interraction with Farhan before as he was quite rude and judgemental, however still great job to the allied health workers.

In this internet world of some very hostile words, I'm still shocked that folks can be so disrespectful to health workers. When people are nasty to those in service sector, I tell them "ok do it yourself"

Its sad for the living. But for the sick, maybe it's being released from all the pain and suffering.

If radiographers deal with critically ill patients then every worker in the hospital also

If I am in their position, I will probably use reverse psychology to talk to the terminally ill patients. "You may be feeling sad at this moment that death is closing in every moment, but for people like us, getting so attached to patients who kept leaving us, the burden on us, we will still have to carry on hoping one day, there is one, just one of you future patients can walk out of the hospital instead."

Not useful. Unnecessarily putting your burden on the patients

I worked as a carer in a place where the very old and dying go in their last days when i was a student . U would be surprised how much of things that matter to you and me means jack to those who know they are dying. Especially on priorities and what matters. The closest I could was making a list that doesnt take into account about anything that has to do with tomorrow or 30 years from now. It still doesnt come close to describing the mental shift, wants and motivations of those who get to see the final weeks, days and hours of their clock ticking. It was a very shocking experience as an 18 year old kid.
