I completely agree, and understand your decision! Just saw an ad for Coldwater Creek showing the exact same shirt that Temu sells, using the same photo! I am not an Amazon fan, my husband has been compromised twice using them. I admire Temu’s marketing ploys, they really work! The UTube hauls are the equivalent of Tupperware and Mary Kay parties. And all the info they collect, even brick & mortar stores collect all that. I tell people to shop wisely just like they would at their local mall, if they have one. Actually, in Boise, the state’s Capitol, we have lost so many retailers in the last several years, I am to the point where I will order online before I drive all over the valley trying to fine the article I want. I think that, too, is part of the Temu , Amazon, Shein and others’ success. And all use the same vendors, with the same risks of child labor, even in the US. It is a new consumer world, and any security and moral risks come with that.

I totally agree with the analysis of Temu by Habiba. Excellent analogy also by Kenton. I ordered some clothing from Temu based on photos of the products advertised - was completely shocked to see that the outfits were different from the photos. It was waste of money, so i immediately took their App down. This could be a problem in the making. Concerned US citizen.
I have never had a problem with Temu. Obviously the items are coming from China so it's going to take some time. They give you a date when you will get their products and if they are late they give you £5 back for it being late.
It seems ok to make orders through the app but not to their website. I remain scammed by their site when I ordered Jan 23, 2024 and received no confirmation yet my account was debited. I have approached Temu and spent more than an hour to get to reporting and opening a ticket. Their reply indicated they took no responsibility and told me I shuld ring my bank (done) and check others who have access to my bank account. No one does. Be careful ordering from this company. They get you interested because of their slave market suppliers (cheap products). I am angry with them. The bank is proceeding through the chargebank department.
I was shopping on temu regular until I found they had set up a regular monthly payment through my bank ,only small amounts ranging from 87p to £1.89 per month so I got my bank to put a stop on it because I did not give them permission to do this. OK, next time I tried to shop on temu, they refused the order and told me to put another way to pay so I put a different card on and they excepted payment same thing happened on this card also. Very disappointing considering You where the sole reason why I started buying from Temu. I came across your video's and really enjoyed them, especially Temu. I am a shopaholic and never liked on line shopping. Temu was my first on line shopping experience. It's hasn't been a bad experience I've shopped so much, so I pretty much no what I'm buying is what I expect. I'm Not a big fan of cheap but some things are good deals. And I don't go over 50$ and I shop maybe once or twice a month. I trusted your judgement so thank you for my new experience.
I applaud you 100 % for standing behind your belief's and standing up, from a southern person we would say "Do you see an S on my fore head somewhere?" meaning stupid. How dare they for even considering that you would/should do that. Unfortunately I'm sure their others who would do it but that's their choice. I deleted my Temu app on my cell phone because my phone started dinging off the hook every 5 minutes and I could not understand why and I mentioned it to my 23 yr. old grandson and he commented it's Temu. I deleted the app and guess what... no more continuous dinging. I no longer click on their promotions to use my cell on their QR codes which ultimately downloads the app all over again. I also started getting vulgar and sexually crude emails but the only thing I knew to do was to block those sights and mark them as spam. So kudos to you.
I appreciate your video on Temu... Their affiliate program needs to be legit, but when I signed up it was only offering free product & I'm ok with that because I'll continue to buy from them. Why not free product 🤷🏾♀️🤔 As far as collecting your information... every social media platform does the same thing, Google does the same thing, TikTok and all of those platforms do the same thing so I don't appreciate the scare or hype when Temu is doing the same thing. We all need to be aware that these companies are collecting our information and we're not sure what they're doing with it.

I have read reports about Temu just like you have said. I have also noticed that Amazon and Shein's products (alot) are exactly the same product BUT Temu has the products the cheapest so common sense tells us that we need to purchase these items from Temu if those are the products we want. Especially now with the economy the way it is people are looking for a way to stretch their budget and get products as cheaply as they can. But I must say I'm being bombarded with Temu ads 5-6 times a day, it's getting ridiculous!!! I order from Amazon. I generally check out the vendor and will only order from US vendors. Also I order from other companies in the black/African American market place the majority of times. I don't like to be the consumer of what we know to be designer products. The reason is little of the revenue comes back to my community yet we are known to spend a lot of money with them. We are even targeted in marketing for that reason. Also I prefer unique products that I won't see everywhere as I come and go. I will spend money on the products at fair market value.
I miss the days of civility & shopping at stores to see quality of product. I prefer quality over quantity. Never saw thieves back in the day like we do today. When I was a child a handshake was good as gold💜🙏💜

I found out about Temu because of your first haul. I spent too much money. Thought it was the best thing since sliced bread. But after a while, I had all of the complaints mentioned here. My biggest was their delivery service. Great customer service persons though. I got free gifts also. But the quality of some items made me quit.
I appreciate both of your honest opinions and I definitely learned a lot which has helped me make an informed decision as to keeping the Temu app or not. I love temu and I don't think there products are bad or cheap. Why not save ? Most of the stuff we buy in our stores comes from China anyway. You're just over thinking this.

Overall, I enjoy your channel. Candidly, I’m glad you’re out of Temu’s clutches. The moment I learned about its horrendous child labor and vendor practices, I stopped watching ALL of your Temu videos. I was a bit (ok-very!) disappointed when you initially said you didn’t want to hear any negatives about the company. I complied. Yet, it hasn’t been long before their exploitative corporate culture trickled outward to consumers and YT content creators. Congrats for finally seeing the light (and with Kenton’s legal and spousal assist) before you got in any deeper. [Of course, there are nuanced issues about global child labor and environmental issues of fast-fashion/landfill clothing but that is for another video or Kenton’s podcast! Thank you.]

I am so addicted to this site that I browse through it every day which would be fine, except I find something I want every day. Instead of leaving it I have to spend more money to get free shipping. I'm going to stop after Christmas and do a budget as this is too easy. Listen all customers, im pretty sure temu knows what someone putting out this remors about them temu will not share ur information and just use a prepaid visa or Mastercard, papal if you don't want to use the bank. I'M still on my temu app and i don't have no problems My products have been on time, great stuff. So people i watch othe video temu haul from others and they shop on their apps with no problems. 😊

I watch your channel regularly and I remember when you first showed non-sponsored hauls. Suddenly content creators that I also follow started to show Temu products. Hmmm. Something’s fishy I thought. The prices were laughably cheap. A lot of the trinkets looked like they’d fall apart as soon as they came out of the package. I’m glad you made this video.

I deleted my app mostly because I was getting requests all day long from friends' apps to help them get free products, it was annoying. I don't shop a lot on temu but I have noticed that many of the things I see on there are also on Amazon. I have noticed that they do a lot of dupes which I think would be illegal at least in our country. I do feel a little wary but then I think of other sites like Shein and others, then I wonder why they have not put out warnings about them. Then I go into a local Walmart and almost everything in there comes from China so it's hard to know what to do.
Amazon is no better twice I had my card details taken and used. So I do not shop on Amazon as it never happen prior and has not happened since. I am in Australia and one was for Amazon Singapore as if I would use that area.

I was looking for Primark shop with me/haul videos but almost all of them are from the UK. I thought of you while watching a video with Christmas ornaments that included doughnuts and macarons.
