Every one says Emily is a nut case but considering that magic is very much real in the stardew world and we quite literally communicate with spirits and ghosts, maybe Emily is just on to something.
Do people who call Emily crazy even play the game? The first thing you do in the morning is to check on TV to check a fortune teller using crystals to talk to ghosts and predict luck. Even amongst the more mundane townspeople, Emily is already the sanest. Who even is her competition anyway? Her snobby sis? Little Miss wheelchair-pusher? The two woodworking redheads who has questionable taste in partners? Shane?
@@GeraltofRivia22 Penny had good intentions, but shoving a disabled person's wheelchair without consent? George had the right to be angry at her. How exactly would Emily be awful? She keeps her beliefs to herself and doesn't let them conflict with anything. She's shows respect to Harvey's, Demetrius's works based on some dialogue. So, yeah, there is actually nothing wrong with her, regardless if magic is real or not.
Originally I planned on marrying Sebastian, but in the process of getting everybody's events I fell in love with Haley and now there's nobody else for me.

@@Rug4 She also took it upon herself to teach the kids of the town. That's one isolated event that you should give her crap for, yes, but it's more likely that she's just trying to be nice. Yes, that still is an ableist action, but she herself is not ableist she's just trying to be kind in the wrong way. Call her out on it in that heart event every time because she should be called out on it, but she's also the only one in town that actually has some semblance of care for others. Haley and Emily fight and seem to barely interact, Sam, Abigail, and Sebastian maybe meet once a week at most and are just relaxing and not necessarily doing anything major for the betterment of the town, only Penny spends their time with the kids of the town to teach them and give some semblance of real education

I normally try to go for Abigail early, because of easy loved gifts, and the chance for normal and large bombs after marriage. Great for skull caverns during winter year 1
