Glad to see you're doing well. I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss seeing Soltown grow but as long as you're enjoying what you do that's enough. 💚 Good luck with that novel!
Your videos have made me smile through some tough times. What you have shared has been a blessing and a gift. I don't think you can quantify that. Still, one person can only have so much creative energy.. Go well in whatever you do!
I saw (honest conversation) and expected more sarcasm and less honesty 😂 I'm always watching as soon as I see a new video of yours. It may not be algorithm friendly but it's real and it's always interesting
I'm a big fan of your videos man. You're a small channel, you have a regular life. I want to start up a channel focused mainly on Valve/Source Engine games, but as you know Life Happens (TM). You gotta do what you gotta do, but I would encourage you to upload videos based on Lego every once in a while. Just keep on doing you man. Side note, I agree with you on the fact that kids don't know how to play with Lego! It is sad, because to me it just emphasizes how access to smartphones/the internet in general from a young age just saps the attention and creativity from kids.
I love to watch your videos your building are so original , bright and fun 0:03 that’s what’s good about your city. and your true artistry shines through. Please keep us updated. You have inspired me to persevere in building something personal and original . Hope to hear from you again 🙏
As a fan of old LEGO (AFOOL) I appreciate your videos when they’re uploaded. You’re a busy guy and monthly videos will at least let the RU-vid algorithm know you’re still active. Weekly or daily videos isn’t a priority for everyone
i like your videos for the originality of your creations and for the novel s about your city(apologize my bad english) you inspired me in building something original ! thanks for your work, really!!
please don’t stop making videos, Mr.Solbrick. I don’t think anyone would mind if you did it sporadically. Your creative MOCs hilarious jokes are a precious gift to all of us. I’ve had some very bad times in the last five years, and your videos never fail and putting a smile on my face. I know that sounds corny, but it’s the truth.
Enjoy Lego as your hobby, update us once in a while if you can, we can all understand how life can get in the way of our hobbies. Ive loved your mini builds filled with story and personality, I may be a biased though seeing all the links to some Swedish books, always brings me a smile. Tack så myket 😋
Of course, do what is right for you, and the real ones will appreciate whatever that is. Even if it means you don't make videos any longer here, I will still appreciate what you have already shared with us. Having said that, something to keep in mind: RU-vid as a platform has gotten noticeably worse over the last 6 months. The enshittening is real. This results in fewer people on the platform, and those that are on it are being concentrated more and more on the small number of large channels that are geared around optimizing their content to the algorithm. So, fewer people on the platform, and those few are concentrating on poorer quality material, generally speaking. It is what it is.
You’re one if my favorites to watch, not just because you actually make new things from LEGO, but because you’re also witty and a bit sardonic, which is lovely for AFOLs like me. Too many American RU-vidrs are just so blandly happy and optimistic and, frankly, boring. As an illustrator myself, I love when you show your art and reference Jan’s book. Maybe if you do less LEGO videos, you can do a few illustration-focused videos instead. Anyway, what I’m trying to say is, thanks for being you on this channel. 😊
Love your videos because it’s special. You make your own custom things with stories, that’s something other RU-vidrs doesn’t have. Always a special time watching your videos because they give me inspiration for my own city, always brightens my day. Stay awesome!!!
I hope that in times of writers block you can make a vid from time to time as a distraction...as it is really inspiring for nerds like me 😀 All the best!
I am just glad to see your city and hear you again :D GOOD LUCK! I said that before but I am a guy who makes Lego Workshops, and yeah, kids these days are VERY different and less creative. But there IS a spark in them! Thats why I want to teach them!
Att se medelålders nördar bygga med klossar är ju det bästa! 😁 Jag förstår vad du menar, men du kan ju alltid göra en video då och då när du känner för det, för skojs skull!
I love your lego town/city, but lets be honest, those are a dime a dozen. I love watching your videos just because of your dry off-the-wall humour, and personality. It's definitely what keeps me watching. The Lego i could take or leave. I give this honest conversation..... .... 5 suns ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️
You do you we're here for it Love your videos maybe I'll have to buy a coloring book or your book for grown ups and if it's not in English then it'll be a reason for me to learn swedish. I mean I love swedish fish so maybe they'll whisper the rest of the language to me and I'll get it lol
All things in moderation as they say. We're also competing with summer here in the states and so many outside distractions. I find I'm more bothered when other youtubers are constantly posting and I'm not, so I don't mind the slow down really.
Great Video! I’m a fellow Content Creator and I’m struggling to grow my Channel! However, I’ve chosen to persevere, which is what I suggest that you would do!
