Saccos are great way of investment and they also have some limitations as well. On this video I provide a fair description on why I prefer other investment methods.

MMF does not have credit facilities. SACCOs' primarily role is for credit facilities, + dividends. If you ou are employed, SACCOs are the better avenue for growing using loans.

Exactly. Saccos are for saving and being able to utilize those savings by getting affordable credit (whose interest rate doesn't go up every few months on a whim). They are not for investing.

We're there is a return above existing Inflation rate, you are Investing. Sacco's form a good investing avenues. One only need to shop for a well managed sacco.

Me too. Self guarantee you get the loan even same day since it guarantees against ur savings.

Good Joseph.Saccos are a credit avenue and for those in need of loans it's a worth consideration. Most of them ask for 4-6 guarantors again depending on the much you have as your shares. The best thing is to invest in one where you know other members.

Saccos are good when investing on share capital, whereby the interest is 15% some upto 18% but you need to invest a good amount for you to enjoy the dividends also make it a long term thing

As for me it’s SACCO all the way! Since 1980 our SACCO has enabled me to accomplish what no financial institution could have done to. Look at the interest the banks pay! It’s pathetic! And before Kibaki trying to get a bank loan was hell. Bank manager’s were like Demi gods! This is where we differ with you!

Harambee sacco is the worst. The way the staff treats the member is horrible. If you want to quit being a member and has to sell your shares to someone else, you will be deducted 30k that will remain in your account forever then the rest will be sold.the person doing the whole process for you has to be bribed or else your forms/documents will end up in the dust bin
