First of, I want to say that the contents of this video were very interesting and in no way inferior to most popular educational channels, But I am a zoomer with low attentionspan, so I will give some constructive critisism as to why I lost focus. 1: your background music was just that. background music. It makes me want to put the video in the background while I scroll on my phone, which it absolutely does not deserve. Your topics give feelings of intrigue, exitement and worry at times, so the music should aswell. I would look at Johnny Harris' videos to see how well he does it. Of course there are differences between yours and his videos, because his are usualy connected as a story, while yours are meant to be a show, but I still think that you could benefit from analyzing it. 2: You are using your greenscreen to much. I'm not saying that you shouldn't film in front of the greenscreen, just that you shouldn't have your pictures and b-roll to your left this much. the information is too small and you end up staying still in the same place for way too long instead let the b-roll fill up the whole screen, and then animate it to very slowly zoom in. This will add more movement, even to the still images. the setup worked well at 3:36 but it should have cut to another perspective already at 3:48. You could also just move yourself to the left side and have the b-roll come the right. Any small change will really make a difference in keeping the viewers focus, and thats why so many youtubers zoom constantly zoom in and out 5% at every sentence to the point that it makes you dizzy. Since your content is about space which is kinda like the ocean, it makes sense to be a bit slower and not as intense as starwars, but it could still use some spice In the video before this one you briefly touched on astroids causing human extinction, which should evoke a lot of feelings in the viewer, yet you just put a lacklustre picture of an astroid on the side. If you had found some stock footage of an astroid heading toward earth, or just moving in general, and made it fill the entire screen it would have made a huge difference. 3: thumbnails. I don't think your thumbnails and titles are bad, but since you talked about it in your behind the scenes video I'll try. the "is NASA acutally a WASTE of money?"-video had great title and thumbnail. This one though could be better at intriguing the viewer, rather than just accurately representing the video. I'm thinking a man in a spacesuit without a helmet with bloodshot eyes and text with an arrow saying: "Brain Damage?" Your thumbnail should convey the video idea as fast as possible with most obvious symbols. I didn't even realise that there was a brain in the thumbnail at first, as it looks at first glance like an alien egg. The only clear thing is that there is an astronaut. a lot of us zoomers will not read the title if we don't understand the thumbnail. I did not intend to sound like a know it all, this was just a good excercise for myself. I think my understanding has already gotten better from writing this, and as I saw your behind the scenes video I figured you would be glad to get some constructive critisism.

This was totally unexpected and I am very grateful for your feedback. You have given me a lot to think about and I agree with pretty much all of it. It's been hard to figure out how to improve since I have been making it for so long. It's a lot to take on alone, so I definitely don't invest as much time and effort into each category. Luckily, I have someone that is able to help write some episodes (the 2 latest).
