Sure enough Yat struck me for…well I can’t type it or YT will delete this comment 🙄 Yet I unfortunately share this platform with the true crime community (live streaming) who exploit, grift & grow their channels off the backs of missing & m*rd*red children….YT lets it all fly. 💔

@@priscillapickel Even just taking away the option to monetize family and kid channels would take away the incentive to create content. They’d still be able to get sponsorships though which is a problem because companies aren’t going to stop sponsoring content that makes them money.

RU-vid needs to relax with the censorship. That video was so well done, and there was nothing in there that should be an issue! You’re speaking out on behalf of exploited children that can’t speak for themselves. How is that ever a bad thing? How frustrating to put all that work into something only to have to take it down! And the trigger thing…it’s MY responsibility to not watch something that’s “triggering”. Not the creators!

Your video was well done and an extremely necessary topic to be discussing. Parents exploiting their children online for any reason is wrong, but we have HIPAA to protect our medical information from being shared by our healthcare or insurance companies. However, if your PARENT wants to tell all your business to millions of people online there is no laws protecting them. Heartbreaking.

this is so true, i think as social media starts to show us the private lives of people we start to see many are unfit to be parents; just because you give your child a roof over their head and clothes on their back doesn't make you a good parent or caregiver if you dont give them the privacy, love, and guidance they need!

It is MIND BLOWING that they can post the videos exploiting their children, but you can’t post a video talking about said person posting videos exploiting their child…talk about ass backwards censorship. It’s absolutely pathetic, and I hope you know we’re all here for your amazing eye opening content and we’re not going anywhere 💕 I truly hope your channel keeps growing, because you post things that EVERYONE should be paying attention to, and the amount of desensitization of this society is heart breaking.

The censorship is out of hand especially when RU-vid is okay with platforming predators like James and Colleen. I saw the notification and went to watch it a couple hours later and it was gone, I was really looking forward to watching it, I think you give a great perspective on these topics. I started watching it on my tv. Paused it to make a snack. Grabbed my phone in the kitchen to continue watching it while I cooked and it wasn’t showing up on my phone. But since I had it paused on my tv in the living room I was still able to finish watching it even after you took it down!

Im so glad I got to watch the video before it got taken down, it was really well done. I have even struggled with a different ED for most of my life, and of course every person is different, but i think that your video was clearly explained and the importance cannot be understated. very frustrating overall, but great job on the video. I hope you don't feel discouraged from it, your videos are truly something interesting and special that I don't get from other creators

I only got through a bit of the disclaimer at the beginning. I read several comments from people criticizing the mother for the child’s disorder. That wasn’t ok. I even responded to one. I think these parents that post this stuff are exploiting and mistreating their kids. Unfortunately, there are tons of parents that use the internet to get sympathy and make it about them. Lots of parents of autistic children do this, for example. It hurts the kids, and as a mother, I can’t imagine broadcasting my kids struggles.

I also want to add I started watching said video and had to pause it and later on after making dinner I went to finish it and it was gone! I was so invested in this video I actually looked for it and gave up and started my hunt for it today again! That video was my first time watching your channel and I'm now subscribed to both your channels because I thought what I did get to watch of it you made really good points and we need people like you trying to get through to these so called Moms! so thank you for bringing attention to these channels and why they're so wrong.

I was able to watch half of the video before it got taken down. I had one of their videos in my feed about a month or two ago and I remember seeing it and feeling so icky about it. No one should be watching this girl struggle. I don't care how much "awareness" it brings. Shes a child and it's not right.

I'm with you, that's so upsetting and annoying. I hate that this is happening. I wish RU-vid would work differently. There are so many videos out there that are actually triggering on the same topic but they're fine because the topic isn't mentioned, and they're not educational or anything.. but then videos like yours get flagged just because you actually verbalize the issues, which is so important! I honestly hate how you're not allowed to talk about certain things on RU-vid, that we literally NEED to talk more about as a society. I can't even give examples of topics because my comment would get flagged.. There should be a trigger warning system on here instead, so people can see beforehand if a video discusses a topic that's triggering to them and just click off the video in that case. Just like there's that banner at the beginning of a movie on Netflix.

So weird and wrong. Whatever you decide to do with that particular video, i hope you keep on making this kind of content!!! I caught the video right after it was posted and it is an important message that needs to be shared. It’s crazy that a channel exploiting a child can post their videos but a video showing concern for the child is taken down. So we can post videos about children that over share sensitive information and basically use children as cash cows but we can’t post videos bringing light to how unethical and damaging these videos are to these children, makes a lot of sense 🙄

They can spread awareness WITHOUT the kids being shown. Parents can still talk about their journey and what they are going through. The kids are mostly too young g to even give informed consent.

I’ve watched the video! And yes…you’re shedding light on it and pointing things out was important! I didn’t know anything about that specific topic, or account. And I have to clearly state: No RESPONSIBLE parent would handle it in that way! You should NOT at all present your struggling child in any video. And IF one absolutely has the need to forward the topic, one should film him/herself dealing with the struggles and asking the OFF CAMERA kid what he/she feels! I have personally dealt with some serious similar issues during my upbringing, and being exposed to the world - in addition to everything else - would have been a great negative impact! That “mother” was commercially using her daughter. Best wishes ❤ P.S.: Today…One day later…I still feel sorry for the girl…and sad!

Omg they took this down?! I just watched this the other day and completely agree with everything you said. Unfortunately child fame has been glorified for so long that unless you are a protective parent, it’s hard to get a hold of when the adults involved are trying to project that child’s fame. It’s so weird that we normalize a child being most vulnerable on a public platform. At least in entertainment, the child gets to play a character and it’s not real.

I’m so glad I was able to watch that video because like you said it was a great video with great points and should be able to be seen. The message of that video needs to be spoken about more than ever now in this modern day of social media. It’s so dangerous and people need to see how much it can effect children. I’m so sorry that you were censored for that video and all the work that you put into it. That is so upsetting. I can’t believe some of the things I’m seeing now a days on social media. It’s so scary that people aren’t making their kids safety and mental health their utmost priority.

That’s a really great point- children should not be the poster child for anything, especially when the physical act is what causes her dis tress . Extremely doubtful that having her post multiple times a day would be in line with how you would actually treat this issue. And wasn’t that the whole point of starting the channel. Very clear to me now (I saw your video before it was taken down) ab use by parent. I assume that’s the mom’s full time responsibility now, idk. It’s clear the decision to allow comments on the videos are based in greed. I only see positive comments on her videos which frustrates me how many people don’t get it- another reason it’s so unfortunate yours was taken down.

I need parents to understand that you can talk about YOUR journey as the parent navigated something difficult while also protecting your child’s identity and privacy. When a child becomes old enough to understand the do’s and don’t’s of the internet and they want to share their story by all means but too many people are living through their kids. I also wonder how in about 10-15 years we might see how many of these situations were us watching Munchausen’s in real time.
