I have driven a brand new Nissan Xtrail T31 2.5 6 speed manual from 2013-2020. It was superb in all spec, but in 2018 I bought a Hybrid T32 Jdm unit which was recondition. After sometime I was facing problems like sudden acceleration, like in traffic jam, you press the pedal lightly nothing happens, but suddenly boost in acceleration. Also the brakes are not up to the mark, sometimes soft sometimes hard. Can you suggest any solution regarding acceleration problem?
I own a 2014 Xtrail T32 2.0L. Never had any performance issue. Been almost 7 years never had any issue with the brakes and the fastest acceleration that i achieved was 7.65s from 0 to 100 km/h. That’s not the best part. Highest fuel economy that i achieved was 33 km/L. Even now after all those years, it still runs 20 km/L on highway easily. I dont know if anyone else had this experience!
Nissan is a good brand no doubt and most cars have smart features which is nice. But in the end, the driver needs to feel confident about the car. If the car isn’t predictable and the driver has no confidence in it, it’s major safety issue. You have raised a very good points. Good review was informative
Drove a 2019 xtrail hybrid today.. Same shitty experience in braking and accelerating.. The only good thing about the car is handling and steering feel.. Except that brake and accelerations sucks
we can do it too, if you press full throttle it will spin its wheel, not to mention bad rubber is provided with stock vehicle. Btw all acceleration goes away when you put the vehicle in sports
