I think that when you get a golden skin, it should automatically apply the boosts to all of your other skins that you have for the same troop

I feel like there should be a “turn on golden mode” option for when you get a golden version of a tower, so it still has the stats of the tower when golden, but you can still use other skins

Honestly, I just got my first golden skin (it was crook boss, its pretty good) and I'm way to burnt out to grind for the chance to get something better, he does have a point. the grind really isn't worth it for something so small. still, this is my opinion and they are cool in a way, so go out in get one if that's what your heart desires

I hate that it wasn't enough for the enemies to be rng based, the damage of accel to be rng based, and the cowboy's money giving ability to be rng based, they had to go ahead and make golden crate rng based as well. It's the reason why my first gold crate gave me golden pyromancer, who is basically useless because all he gets is some range.

After grinding coins for days maybe even weeks, rng for gold crate will give you this: Golden crook boss, golden soldier, and gold pyro

if there is a feature to transfer golden skin boosts to a skin of the same tower (if you own golden version of that specific tower) then make it have like golden particles or an indicator that this tower is using the golden skin perks

Imagine if every, or most, skins in the game changed something about the tower, so depending on which skins you have, you can choose the skin you want. Of course, each skin could be different, so you can strategize with which skins to use.

Golden crates are severely overpriced. I mean you can grind for a insanely long time and get a bad golden skin. It's probably only worth 25k or 30k or even better 15k.

a way they could do this is for example, you have a ton of scout skins and get the gold skin, there should be a feature where if you obtain a gold skin of a certain tower, all skins of that tower become just as strong as the gold skin.

Idea: Once you get a golden skin for a tower, you'll get the skin for the tower and you'll also get a button where once you equip any skin (not just golden), you can click the button to make that skin buffed also. You can only buff skins from the tower that has the golden skin. You'll be able to 'upgrade' the skins for a reasonable price of 50 coins (50 coins for each one.) I think it would be a fair system, and then you'd be paying 50,000 for not only a golden skin but buffs for all the other skins.

i dont think that they should add golden skins to towers that are already op. people already use those towers, so it is kind of pointless... in my opinion it would be much cooler to see golden variants for towers that are barely used, such as sniper, so people can actually have a reason to use it instead of leaving half of their inventory untouched.

Maybe a buff crate where it cost 5,000 - 10,000 gold and it gives buffs like 20% more damage, 60% more Firerate, 40% more range, or even permanent hidden detection. Then you could apply those buffs to any skin but maybe there will be a limit to not be too OP.

It took me 2 years to get 1 golden crate. To be fair, I only played during holidays and weekend but still, 2 years for 1? I swear, if I get a bad golden tower I would just quit TDS and go back to Tower Battles. edit: the thing is i already got every single tower except Accelerator.

To fix this problem maybe when you get the golden skin of the tower it automatically becomes much more stronger even if you aren't equipping it basically like an upgrade once you get it it applys for all skins. also I really think they should consider lowering the price of the golden crate to maybe 40k or 35k since lower than that would be unfair for the people who bought it for 50k. This is just my opinion to solve these problems

i just simply gave up at the game when they give me the pyro the first time, then crook boss the second time.

maybe when you get a golden skin they ask you, "do you wanna put the 50% dmg in some other skin or you wanna keep it with the golden"

My friend spent ages grinding for a golden crate only to get golden pyro. You really should be able to choose the tower so you don't end up like my friend.

They should add golden mode on them instead of golden skins, when you open a golden crate, you get a random golden version of the tower, and you can go to your inventory and click on the tower and you can turn the golden mode off and on, and you can equip any skin you want.

They should do a craft event with the golden skin where they ad crafting where in the event you need golden and other skin when the event ends the skin can stack up to 8 but the chances of getting the skins will low after getting it and when you get 8 it will go to 0% chance

I think they should make the golden towers seperate towers, but also making the skins for the normal versions of those towers applicable to the golden ones. It would probably take more effort, but I think it would be worth it for the wellbeing of the game.

I am completely on John's side. Because, this game wants you to play More and more and more and more until you get tired of grinding. Then, TDS will be AFRAID to lose the players grinding for golden crate. That's why they added the 10K gold for 850 robux. Because they WANT you to pay 4 THOUSAND robux on a SINGLE crate on a GAME. And the chances of getting the Gold Scout/Pyro, it's gonna be a BIG chance. So then they want you to pay more and more robux to gamble. You need about 100K Cash to remove Scout and Pyro. (50K if your lucky). Then when you get Gold Scout and Pyro, TDS again wants you to Keep grinding 24/7 JUST to get a skin that deals 50% more damage. I'd say 50% is SUPER low. Just imagine, you payed 4 thousand robux/ 50K gold to get a Useless pyromancer tower that only deals 50%? Really? At least make it a BIT bigger.

Facts about golden perk if you equip golden perks you can just use basic skins that would be rlly cool and still has the buffs

Personally, I think the solution is to make the Golden Crate/The Golden Skins become rather a passive for the towers. In game it would apply a shine to your tower/s but you can still select the skin you want. The passive would change the upgrade, damage, you know, everything that a Golden Skin does, but, it doesn't change the look of your tower/s apart from the shine. It would allow for other skins to be used with the Golden Tower passive. Just an idea :D
