Where I live, (Philippines) it's a 3rd world, Tropical country. Where $20 for a fragrance is mostly a luxury and the temperature is 95 degrees on average all year, this fragrance rules.

We loose optics when we say $20 bucks us cheap. It’s all relative. A $500 Creed Royal Oud, is expensive for many Americans, but the wealthy is cheap. And $500 is double of a monthly salary in a lot of countries.

I have actually gotten two compliments with it, and I don't get a lot of compliments. I primarily wear it to bed or sometimes to the pool or beach. Not sure about everybody running around smelling like it though, as I don't think I have EVER knowingly smelled it on someone else. But then again, I'm not smelling 12 year old boys like you apparently 😄

Hate is probably too strong, although I absolutely get where you are coming from. I have it and don't regret buying it... it was just $20. The best use of it for me is after a shower at night. I can spray Voyage on and not worry about it lingering on my skin the next morning when I put something better on. And funny how different people react to different fragrances. I work with someone and her two favorite fragrances on men are Acqua Di Gio and Voyage. One well respected fragrance and one some people think is a joke. LOL And I will give my unpopular opinion: I would much rather have Voyage than Bentley For Men Intense. I'll take Voyage 10 out of 10 times over Bentley Intense. (Bentley For Men Absolute is another story... LOVE the Absolute version).

it still good, in my country, not many people wear fragrance, my sister and my gf still love this over all other fragrances, even more than Bleu De Chanel. its a cheap and inoffensive fragrance for anyone starting their fragrance journey, i recommend my friends and colleagues as their first fragrance and they love it.

I bought it from Ross very expensively. Because of the hype from respectable reviewers (ie. Jeremy Fragrance) and the fact it's the best selling fragrance on Amazon I don't feel like it was a waste of money. But it is synthetic. Actually the juice should be light green. I get a cucumber note with green leaves. Anyway, I have no regrets. Meh.

Hey Nate , when you say this smells synthetic, it does but 99.99% of people that are smelling you are not fragrance enthusiasts. So they have no idea what is synthetic and what is not. They just think you smell good. It’s a great hot day dumb reach and I wear it all the time in the summer. And I have probably close to 100 bottles of fragrances “ niche and designer.”

When I say it smells synthetic, I am not a total professional nose. What I mean, It smells like any other cheap body wash. Wearing this right out of the shower seems to be the thing to do because it smells good and like you just got out of the shower. I am more talking about wearing this to Work, School, Horseback riding... You know all the things on the to-do list.

I know just about every frag enthusiast will crap on Nautica Voyage and sure it's synthetic but it's a great bang for your buck if you're just looking for a dumb reach to run errands or when getting out of the shower. I personally don't mind it but everyone's entitled to their opinion. Keep up the great content man!

I have it as a GOAT for a warm weather scent. I got it after collecting a bunch of Zara. I will use it as my gym scent. I haven't even cracked it open yet compared to all my cheapies clones dupes twists designers niche including Zara. It's better than Belcam. And I have Belcams I really like. All good.

Nautica is a classic for a cheap cologne and also Cool Water is good for an EDT! Would be nice for them to come out with a Nautica Voyage EDP. Until then I'll keep buying it whenever i run out.

I like Nautica Voyage but I stopped using it once I got covid, covid change my sense of smell. I was just getting the sweet smell and none of the aqua notes. Now that my sense of smell has returned I'm using Nautica Voyage again but I'm almost out and I'm wondering if I should get the jumbo size or Perry Ellis Pure Blue which smells like a spiced Nautica Voyage.

I have a xerjoff, creed, nasomaTTo, amouage, kemi, Dior, Tom Ford, Gucci eTc in my collection. And let me tell you. Is true, is cheap and synthetic. And at first was hated for me. But now i am ok and don't know why but girls love this shit. Is a fact. Simple & fresh.

I think culture matters here. Because where im from, Bangladesh, the whole fragrance market is filled with indian low quality stuff. So wearing Nautica voyage will get you compliments. And its super hot and humid here, so nautica voyages freshness really suits the weather. So it suites the weather and not common here. That makes it perfect for my region.

You are 100% correct about the impulse buying aspect. That is the exact reason it’s priced at $20. People will happily throw away $20(maybe an hour of work for some) on a shit fragrance just because it’s accessible and it’s a new fragrance to their collection. I would smash 10 bottles of Voyage and buy something better. I think more people need to portray this mentality so individuals who are new to collecting don’t waste their money. However, you get way more clicks and way more interaction by peddling things that are easily attainable to people such as Voyage, F Black, Montblanc Individual, etc etc etc.

I kind of just meant that people need to test stuff out and maybe go from there. I simply meant I wish I waited on buying a few of the cheap fragrances and maybe bought a single fragrance as opposed to 3 cheaper ones. Like a $75 fragrance and not 3 tj Maxx type ones. But that’s how we learn what we do and don’t like I guess. I just think it could help out a lot of people who are newer to the hobby. Sorry if I came off snobby at Voyage, I actually think it smells good.

I love my "I just don't care what you think" type fragrances. That's why I love Rasasi Shuhrah so much. It's not anyone's favorite, but it's MY favorite. Slowly finishing my last bottle of Nautica Voyage. This will be a slow, drawn-out, bittersweet goodbye.

I wouldn't say I hate it but I dislike it. It smells like a hair gel rather than a shower gel for me. It's about $23 in Malaysia where I live, and I can get much better fragrances for much less here. For example, Lattafa Ejaazi (a typical blue fragrance) goes for $10 and Al hambra Porto neroli goes for $17, and both are perfect for the hot tropical weather of Malaysia.

colognes get old at different times, and break down different ways (that would actually make for a good video)... after 1.5 years, my nautica smelled literally like acetone. I actually appreciated the smell before that though... nothing too bold and in your face. I don't want to buy it again though for one reason.... i will forever remember the acetone smell it becomes. Has a solid 1 year shelf life IMO.

Id rather wear fresh cheapies than expensive perfume. If you’re in Philippines 😅 Dior and other musky/ oudy/ woody fragrances are cloying. I love Lattafa Najdia, or Lattafa Aed Al Fursan which are more affordable and smells like Invictus Aqua in a more affordable price. 😅

I ordered Nautica Voyait because of the big hype on You Tube. My impressions? It is a cheap perfume, it smells like shampoo. It is fresh, but it simply has no character. It is best for those who cannot afford a good perfume, but if you can afford a perfume over €30, there are a million better alternatives. In short, it's simple, it smells cheap.

It smells nice, Hard to hate a fragrance that smells clean and fresh. My hate is coming from a place of love. Lattafa, Paris Corner, Maison Alhambra, Fragrance World, etc... have AMAZING Fragrances that smell simply amazing. There should be no reason other than wearing it out of the shower or attachment issues to wear this as a signature scent.

In this case it's all voyage factoy fault to making this great fragrance then everybody love it then they can't find something better to replace 😂 do you have any other alternative which give this aquatic vibe ? I gave 3 cheap fragrances to my teenage son, who’s name is not Lewis. School every day Kenneth Cole Mankind Unlimited, Sean John Unforgivable for casual, go out, hang with friends, and Guess 1981 Los Angeles, for colder weather, evening scent.

Just some, They are not all as cheap as Nautica voyage, so if you want the cheapest one. Just get Nautica. but with 15-20 bucks more. You can get something 100% better. plus for how long a bottle lasts (1-2 years) paying an extra 20 bucks is totally worth it imo.

Both Lataffa and Armaf have some bangers around the price range of voyage. And if you go up in price just a bit, you open up leagues way above Voyage. There’s nothing wrong with voyage, I just don’t think it deserves the hype that it gets and for a similar or maybe slightly more expensive price point, you can smell way better.

Hey Nate Now that you are the middle eastern guy Can you try afnan rare carbon and compare to ombré leather OG and parfum? People say many diff things.. Some say it’s 95% close.. on fragrantica they say it’s not even close.. so now I am unsure about it I don’t love OL but I don’t have any leather heavy fragrance so I was thinking about rare carbon as they say it’s easier to wear.. thanks

Yes, Fragrance is subjective. Just because anyone is in the minority does not mean you can't stress your opinion. Silly thinking, If you're in the minority, you should actually speak up If you think different. Fragrance is a hundred percent subjective, and no one is gonna like the same stuff. I do my best here on the channel to stress my subjective opinion. If you would like confirmation bias, go watch somebody who praises it. 🫡

I will not buy this ever! I am so sick of this hearing all the time! :D But I bet you don't hate enough like I hate Afnan 9pm. On of my worst purchase. That is a cloying synthetic mess for me. I suggest Davidoff Cool Water Intense, grapefruit & sage, and Kenzo Homme Intense! By the way, If you don't try Kenzo Homme Intense yet, I suggest you try it. That is a great frag.
