Thank you!! I’m getting tired of coaster tubers saying GA is amazing… this and that. Like it is, I Love GA. It’s my home park too, but stop sugar coating the B.S. double side lockers, hyping up the 50th anniversary for it not living up to expectations. Thank you for not being biased.
I agree GA 50th was way over hyped complete disaster. All the rides GA refurbished had plenty of time to get done. There food sucks, operations suck. The workers are ignorant.
Kind of gives me Discovery Kingdom vibes, which had a lot closed when I went, and Joker/Medusa were on one train. Magic Mountain has its problems but it's doing better than these parks right now.
I planned on visiting the park when (if) Flash opens up in August. However, I don’t even know if it’s worth if it if half the rides will be closed or running one train. My home park six flags america is experiencing the same issue. Maybe this cedar fair merger will help them out because…yikes!
I was originally very understanding of the park when the park didnt open back in march with everything open, but the fact theyve barely made progress on anything is really disappointing, especially after the great year that was 2023. I was planning a visit in august or september, but I might just skip it this year
It is a sad state of affairs that the park won’t be ready for most of, if not all of its 50 year celebration which goes until the end of August. It’s obvious that Big Wheel and Flash will be open come Fright Fest but what about summer?
I agree with you. Operations need to step it up. Was there on July 1st also and so much closed or broke down during the day. One train on Superman and Medusa is unacceptable. Kingda Ka and Jersey Devil closed for over a week. Log flume nowhere close to ready. Not much positive to say.
I only go to Six Flags Great Adventure only once or twice a year because I live a few hours away and the park has not had a good start flash vertical velocity was suppose to open in summer 2024 and the summer is almost over!!! and the mouth on skull mountain is gone for "Repairs" where the water was suppose to come out of but Roaring Rapids was good at least.
@@OfficialEthanStillCodes-9229 ok I can believe that but most days at least one if not more of the major rides are down. It's sad that when I was there at the end of May everything I wanted to ride was open but Zumanjaro. I would have thought the deeper into summer you get the better experience it would be but it's not looking all that good for this season.
WTF is happening to SFGA? I've been going there since 2006 when El Toro was brand new, Kingda Ka was just a year old and of course Batman & Robin The Chiller was still in operation it was the place to be back then and I was very lucky to experience it. Fast forward to 2024 and all I've been seeing is half the rides closed or coasters just running on one train ops. I don't know if it's just short staff or rides and trains braking down and can't run? It's so sad what has been happening to this place the last couple years (my last visit was 2021 and half the rides including El Toro and Nitro were closed) and it just doesn't seem the same park that it was 15-20 years ago. I'm praying that one day someone can make SFGA great again like it once was otherwise it's not worth the trip anymore!
The slow downs are there to sell flash passes. The more they sell...the more money they make. There is absolutely no financial incentive to run frequent trains and to boost the guest experiences. Less people in the park = less staff needed.
@@DrFishstix2 whoever is running this place is doing a horrible job and should be fired! In the theme park industry it should be all about the guest experience not just about selling flash passes so if people can’t get a good enough experience to go back of course attendance is gonna be low. Why spend money on admission and parking plus gas and tolls if the experience isn’t there?
When these coasters have like week closures I think they should have backup parts. Of course coasters like Kingda Ka probably have a ton of parts but they should try to have backups of most of them. I don’t know how much it would cost to do that for all the coasters but it feels like they can.
Wow this is brutal. Park was awesome when i went in 2011. But now it's the same thing with magic mountain. One train ops and random ride closures everyday. Under staffed for certain. What a joke. Get your shit togther aix flags.
