White Canadian here. I feel helpless and hopeless here too, and I grew up here. It's changed. There is no love here, no community, it feels like communist Russia, except multicultural. Toronto is a deep pit of sorrow.
@rothaarige3896 I remember when I got my citizenship, that day was a proud day. I became a Canadian. I love Canada, but Canada has changed. A lot of people are leaving Canada. Thank you for watching and commenting on the video
I decide on Tanzania because it has an history of being peaceful( having over 100 different Tribes) and an history of being stable politically, and its main language(Swahili) is an African language that is the most widely spoken languages of Africa. Knowing an African language is an important part of me reconnecting to Africa.
@coz2j69 for all of these reasons, you are correct. Tanzania is truly a beautiful country. I often tell my Tanzanian friends they don't know how beautiful this country is
@@theafricanjumbee4057you guys are fkn deluded if you believe Tanzania peaceful … As a Tanzanian born and bred this is not the place for African Americans or Carribeans stay in your own countries there’s no belonging here
I'm in that place you were, that my heart wants to be in Africa, happiness and peace are something we all need, I love my country very much, but Africa is where my heart desires ❤
@@rickygumbs6964 follow your heart and walk into your destiny. Choose the country in Africa that is right for you. Even if it is for a visit, it will change your life
I can feel you my brother . indeed, African is the best destination. As an African my self , with all my plans on track to return home and live a quite and easy life. I will be taking the same venture sooner.
Canada is a wonderful country, and I achieved a lot there. The last few years of living in Canada became difficult because of the toxic environment, in my opinion, that Canada became. Because of this, to save my life, I left Canada and moved to Africa.
Its worse in Europe. Imagine here we always hear that Canada is paradise. No matter what home is the best any country which is not your home is not your home. Tanzania is a very beautiful place.
@thebesthoyame you can achieve whatever in Whiteman Countries. At the end of the day, it is not home. Their comes a time when everyone should look for home
From what I’ve seen and listened to on social media ( take it for what it’s worth ), Africa will be the centre of development and growth/opportunities for the next generations to come. Money will pour in the continent. I believe it.
I totally agree with you, I'm heading back to Egypt as well , even though it's not the best of places but it's still home and no matter what happens you have ur family ,relatives and friends back home.
Can’t wait to get back home with my mum. Tanzania is a beautiful country with wonderful people hope that get to meet up soon when I arrive. Take care & enjoy your new going freedom you are doing great work & inspirational in all your talks. God bless & keep your dreams fruitful kaka
This is what I am going through, I have been soo depressed and contemplating very dangerous thoughts but it’s just not fair. I am leaving just so as to be alive . This place depresses
@dr.ogwangjoshua1391 I understand you very well because I was going through the same. Please be strong. Don’t allow depression and anxiety to consume you. Yes, I know it is hard, but you have to fight with everything you have to save your life. Seek help if you need it. Please don't be afraid to talk to someone and get professional help. Try and find a safe place that you can go to. A place that will bring you peace, focus, alignment, and grounding. Wherever this place is, find it. Don't be afraid to let go of what we think we need or the illusion that we are presented with and are told, This is how it should be. Seek inner peace, seek healing. I had a video I did about mental health. I was wondering if I should upload the video, but I think it is necessary that I do. I will upload it next. Please look out for it
Im glad you got your peace my friend. Arica seems like such a gorgeous country. I lived in Toronto for a little while and felt the exact same way. I ended up moving back home in Nova Scotia. Much more laid back. Toronto felt slightly out of touch to me. Stay up my friend and many blessing 🙏
@NathanielPhalen beautiful nova Scotia. I had a couple of coworkers' friends who are from Nova Scotia. Thank you for watching and commenting on the video
After the pandemic hit, it has never been the same here and it's not going to be. That was the green light for the changes they want to bring about and you're just seeing the first steps. People are crying and they haven't even started
Looking similar is a part of it. A part of it is also that Black people, in general, are welcoming and peaceful. In general, Black people becoming more violent the more they are expose to West culture
@theafricanjumbee4057 I agree with you. I am an African who lived in the States and returned to Africa in a country where I am not originally from. I have dealt with immigration; they make it harder for black people than bazungu to settle. It is a fact; I know bazungu who get an easier time (for the same application process). When you have money, which surprises them, they believe you got it thru laudering, scams, etc. Mind you, even you bank in the States or Canada. From my experience, Rwanda immigration is very transparent. Also, i used to sleep on RW. I visited again last month. It is changing. I saw more foreigners, which is good, most of them africans. Economy seems to flourish.
@@theafricanjumbee4057 Why should they?? Do you guys bring something to the continent or do you guys spend it all in canada and come down here just to buy a house and land and expect a red carpet treatment everytime you land??
You should still take the time to visit Nigeria or any of the West African countries when you can you might be surprised of the reality on the ground. Its not has bad pple make it to be especially Nigeria and we need to remember that Nigeria is a big place.
@ciwanechris1428 karibu Sana. Tanzania is a peaceful and safe country. A visit to tanzania will impact your life. Beautiful national parks, kilimanjaro, zanzibar, and so much more. If you can access tanzania Safari online, you'll have an idea of how to plan an amazing holiday in tanzania 🇹🇿
We're all one....Nigeria, Tanzania, Ghana.....all one....and its beautiful because you have options all the time....to visit...as a Nigerian, i long to visit other african countries and meet with very beautiful warm people.
@seannabowen1428 Asante Sana Dada. This place is a blessing to me. In spite of whatever improvements need to happen, I love every day I am here. Welcome back soon
Good for you realizing what you needed to be better and happier! Canada has changed! When people started irrationally screaming for fascist oppression of their neighbours during the big P our society fell apart! Fascism has destroyed many cultures in human history… I was shocked the average Canadian didn’t understand this or didn’t care because the propaganda made them so fearful they would sacrifice a neighbour to save themselves.
White man of European descent here. Canada is not the country the world used to know us as. Nowadays it truly is "every man for himself". It's really sad because I grew up thinking Canada was amazing, and to a certain degree it was, mainly due to people's politeness and openness, but as the years went by people kept getting more and more anti-social, and the pandemic made things worse. Nowadays I only have one friend to my name, all the other people I had known disappeared without any trace. I definitely want to leave this country, and since I have family in Poland, that is always an option, but really I just want to find a place with real people and real community. Canada's multiculturalism isn't what they tell you it is. Every nationality for themselves.
@chris_hawk I am just waking up in the mountains of tanzania. It was the most beautiful and peaceful place I've ever seen. I found my peace. I pray that you find your peace, wherever you find it, walk boldly into it. We have only this life, make every second of it counts.
Good story brethren, I visited TZ recently and was really surprised, calm, steady pace country. Perfect for retirement and relaxing, surrounded by nature. I do have some questions though, not trying to pry but did you relocate solo or you moved family (wife/kids possibly)? As someone currently in the western world, I admire the establishment of that African connection. Also, sounds like you've learnt Swahili already
I remember my first day on the job at Bank of Nova Scotia, a Chinese woman asked me where I was from, I told her I was from a country in Africa. She was shocked and said to me " but you're wearing clothes!" . Her response surprised me but going forward I experienced so much racism in the financial sector of downtown Toronto. No one wanted to be friends with me because I was an immigrant and in their eyes from a terrible place called Africa. I ran away to Japan where I thought they would be kinder to me, turns out they are even more racist than the white people in apartheid South Africa. Being out of Africa has totally destroyed my soul. I am literally Hanging On by a thread. Hoping to return back to the motherland and my home, my only home.
@@zimpetrichor4919 reading this has brought memories of how Suttle racism is in Canada. I am sorry that you had to go through this. Please be strong. You will return home soon
I will give you just a little advice, to be honest with you Nigeria is the place to be if you can has a limited number of people around you, there are many people born in the diaspora living in Nigeria and blend in very well , No discrimination because all you see is black people like you owing their own business, Security tips in every where you go is to limit to much familiarity with people, Is people who knows you will harmed you , CRIME don't happen without an insider , Stayed blessed
Nah we like it like this. Someone suggested you interview beautiful woman. Why?? You bring a lot of nuggets for people who seriously want to move there
My roots are in Africa my grandparents came in the 60s. Canada is a great country if you’re lazy but if you’re a hard worker it’s hell even for those of us who are 2nd and 3rd gen Canadian.
@@theafricanjumbee4057 the last 6 years have shown how hollowed out this country is from the inside. I plan on relocating to Senegal at the end of the year and move my business.
Nigerian here. There are tons of Caucasians and Asians trooping in and out of Nigeria on a daily basis. Many are residents and have Nigerian citizenship. You let the overhyped insecurity propaganda fool you. The insecurity is in far north on the border with the sahel countries. Just avoid that area, and you'll be good in Nigeria. You just have missed a vibrant country. Home of entertainment and happiness overload. My Naija any time.
@afrikanheritage99 maybe so. There is no doubt that Nigeria has a lot going on, It is true. I am happy in Tanzania. Tanzania is a very beautiful country
@afrikanheritage99 have you visited Tanzania? I say that to say, Nigeria is a really tough place, the pace is fast and the people In the cities are not the most welcoming. Perhaps Tanzania suits him better, I get you are trying to be patriotic but he didn't lie about insecurity overall
@Polex12345 their can never be. It doesn't matter where you may roam. Their come a time when you will start looking for home. Thank you for watching and commenting on the video
Yes that is right , there are many Africans, East Africans in particular in a depression mode. Itis common to see Africans talking to themselves while walking. Life is also too expensive and rent too high for the people who get minimum wage and that is if they are lucky.
Warmly welcome, to be honest Tanzania is the nice country. Very safe, friendly people and strong democracy. I wish everyone could visit our country and enjoy the God creation. Feel at home Sir. We speak Swahili but still English is our second language, hence it will be easy for you to mingle and connect with people.
@afrikanheritage99 In most African countries, a foreigner can not outright own land in their name. Although their is a way it can be done. In countries that allow a foreigner to own land in their name, the quantity of land is limited to a specific size.
Left Canada to retire alone or with family. WHERE WERE U LUVING IN CANADA/CITY AND PRIVINCE ?TYPE of job? Pension? Plan to come back in canada? When you are of cat of canada for 6 mths issues i heard😮
@alinewandji8017 I lived in Toronto. I worked for the city of Toronto. I will only visit Canada for a visit and to take care of business. I won't be living in Canada full-time anymore If you are a permanent resident of Canada, you have to return every six months.
