You are so clear, plain & just so nice!! You're also very smart & analytical. The way you described your experiences & shared the minute important details so clearly without hiding. You openly spoke about the mindset that you had and how you learnt & grew through those experiences. Honestly, very helpful especially for someone like me who is yet to do a job but has come to realise money/work is not what I want 24'7, its a part of life, very important but I also want peace in my life equally. As someone who already has health issues, I cannot work in an overly stressful environment. And you helped as a mentor for me to understand what points should I look for while taking a job, considering I get those kinds of options. So, thanks a ton & God bless you for your clear conscious & desire to help others!❤
Inspiring ✨..I always wondered why someone left his high paying job so soon after iim loan.. I got my answer now.. health is very important n u look really fit n happy, keep going..also share how are u handling your loan amount. I am really scared of interest rate on loan amount, maybe the second thing stopping for dreaming for iim , first one is ofcourse percentile!!
There is no word like work stress if you like the job you will love doing that job 24hrs and if you don't like the job you will feel stress doing that work for 2hrs.
Haha! As mentioned, bad managers are risky, and the whole company doesn't need to follow the same toxic culture. There were some good managers as well.
In short paiso se jyada satisfaction jaruri hai , paisaa to kal bhi kamaa lenge lekin satisfaction nahi raha to kuch fayda nahi jindagi jeene kaa. Marathi madhe mhan ahe : Manus janmala aala ani pani bharta bharta mela

Being a fresher, I have a dream to work with such Top companies, but by watching such vdos write now ,I feels that I will not be able to survive if there will toxic environment and to be honest IT might not made for everyone as , I was a chill kind of student, and never even faced such situation in life before ,I never took my college HOD serious, my mind says now, government job is better than IT even if u are having less salary.
I don't know why people are fussing about the Big 4 work culture. Folks look around you all indian companies or indian subsidiaries or indian business units are like that. If you work for an european company or a company which has clients in Europe then only you can think of some work life balance or else just forget it. In my experience and the experience of my closed ones i have seen this bad culture everywhere in such indian subsidiaries I don't know why we become like that. It is not just about one manager sadly enough many many managers are like that because of their conditioning. I would say if you want a change then try not to be like that manager when you have that seat.
Hey, I am a fresher, just completed my MBA and got placement in KPMG as a consultant, i have joining in 1 month. Very nervous because of recent news and this video also, can you give me some tips regarding my career ahead
Most important tip would be expectation setting, talk to managers, convey your way or style of working, try putting everything over email. Ask for targets in quantified manner (numbers) as qualitative features can be manipulated/biased.
Bhai one genuine question, How much percentage of managers do you think are toxic in general ? I know it is a very subjective observation based thing but still just wanted a rough figure.

I don’t usually comment but I have to say, I really needed this, especially what you said towards the end. Amazing video! I hope this gets more views! Also Great editing. Keep growing man! All the besttt! (Also, we share the same surname)

I feel we indians somewhere need to change our own mindset. When our children are young, we force them to only study and get good grades. Once we work again we keep glorifying n treating work like its all of our life and nothing else. Somewhere we also lag the realisation that life is beyond work. While working is important but its not life, that we work n only work n have no life beyond that. If we had strict work laws and high paying over time wages like in the west, definitely no one would let us work beyond work hours.
I too left a toxic organisation and joined a company with almost same salary. Now I am very happy as I am getting time for myself, for my family, for my friends. I get weekends which was not possible in earlier company.
My opinion : Today's generation lack the following : 1) Adaptability 2) Flexibility 3) Loyalty 4) Acceptability 5) Tolerance Instead they have built up: 1) Ego 2) Showing off 3) I am right you are wrong attitude 4) Lack of interest at work. I have worked for 18 hours non stop during 1990s. Even last decade if it was necessary I used to sit from 10:00 am to 2:00am (16 hours). Today's Job market commands 10 to 12 hours of work provided you get holidays when needed and paid leaves.
Todays youth instead of developing the' so called skills', they simply migrate to countries with good work life balance, earn 3 or 4 times more and enjoy life😊

Point is not how long you work but what value you add to the society. By value i mean anything that help in improving health, longevity and happiness and peace of mind.

Yes! But unfortunately individuals like us lack influence or power…so changing the system would be difficult…a feasible solution can be - becoming a leader and then leading with an example!
Even those days are gone, besides job security, mental health of many govt workers is up for a toss. I have some friends who stepped out of banking roles (govt) to pursue something better - in terms of work culture.
You didn’t mention the skills the top performers had. This is complete misinformation. If a company is paying you that much, ofcourse they expect you to be on your toes. Crying babies are not cut out for this!
