I've self hosted the credibledev.com since it started a few years ago. During that time I've hosted the site on NameCheap VPS and Linode using CyberPanel and it's mostly been a great experience. Initial setup takes some time but the performance is great.
I recently moved to Linode about 2 months ago and while performance was great, I suffered in search rankings. I decided to move the website to a share hosting provider called SiteGround. This video discusses the experience with moving my site and why I made that choice.
