I am a Filipino expat working in KSA, I frequently mistaken Nepali a Filipino, I called them "Kabayan", and the guy responded, (la, (no) ana Nepali (I am Nepal)...
Nepali is mixed because they sorrounded by big countries like China, India, Burma, and Bangladesh. They are hardworking people as a Filipino i've loved to work with them.
If you’re a graduate of the Philippines 🇵🇭, your chances of getting job abroad is high. Like here in USA, graduates from the Philippines are being Look up because the way we were trained, especially the Medical , Nursing and allied courses, we are reliable and dependable professionals.
Unforunately in most european countries, Philippine degrees are not that well acknowedged... I believe we have a very strict education system and more advanced than in some europeans educations for instance
@@chefsprikitik6634 good for you then, coz normally common filipinos with degree from the philippines in the countries ive lived in, is not well acknowledged, means filipinos normally work in hospitalityindustry, tbh, i know also a japanese guy who ended up working as sushi man despute with masters in economics
What's lacking before was our high school system was short of 2 years from international standard hence we now corrected it by adding 2 more years which is called K12. I hope this change would benefit the new graduates moving forward especially in international stage :-)
You can never go wrong studying in the Philippines because first in for most the system of education here is American that’s why when you move to America it’s easy for you to take the licensure exam.
Exactly correct the standard of education are basically in the American pattered and i think the education is very excellent in all aspect thats we wont wonder why there are alot of foriegn students studying in the Philippines aside from a cheaper tuition fees , life in the Philippines is very much adaptable to anyone......
Thanks for choosing the Philippines. Here in abroad I have many Nepali friends. They know how to look back the throwback and never forgot a friends. Most of them are friendly 😊
tell him to also vlog, cause he has a potential .. filipinos love foreigners living in the Philippines when they vlogging especially when its about the country.. and plus he is handsome..
I guess the reason why many foreigners are studying in the Philippines because first, the tuition fee is way cheaper compare to other Western countries. Low cost of living too. Second, there’s no communication barrier among locals (at least the basics). English is medium of instruction in most universities. I remember during my uni days, I’ve got Korean and Iranian classmates.
@@jimzg.c.7376 I'm surprised to know that Americans are also choosing to study in here! Are they full blooded or FIL-AM? Apart from cheaper cost of living and tuition fees is there any other reason why Americans would choose getting their diplomas in here? Do they really think that US Companies would honor their educations in our country? This is interesting to know from American's point of view 🤗
@@mikelawre6190 on my own experience i had 2 college classmates before who were us citizen they were FIL-AM but naturally born in US. Major reasons were the education cost, and trainings way more spoon fed. Education will be honor by the US of course because nursing education were based from american standards, books were from american authors and Americans were the one who introduced nursing in the Philippines. After they graduate, All they have to do is get a state board to practice their chosen profession.
A lot of foreigners are studying in the Philippines I dont know why? During my engineering and nursing course I have schoolmates from US, Europe, India, Middle East and other Asians. Thank you guys for choosing Philippines. Enjoy the fun here.
My first course is AB ECONOMICS in UST. I am proud of it. Took 18 education units, passed the board exam. And enjoyed teaching especially in refugee camp in Morong, Bataan. Retired last year in the public school.
You got so many friends now Miss Dorcas, both the locals and foreigners and I think that's blessings from God because you are a good person inside and outside.
He look like Pinoy if he speak tagalog you won't recognize him a Nepali.😍 Love you guys I hope I can visit your country and enjoy your culture too. Maybe I ca share it also on my vlog.
In Cebu, the biggest groups of international students studying English are Koreans, Chinese, Japanese, Russians, Easter Europeans (Ukraine, Estonia, Czech Republic, Slovak Republic, etc.), Middle easterners (UAE, KSA, Kuwait, Bahrain, Iran, etc), Vietnamese, Thais, and many of them end up pursuing their degree course in the university or college here in Cebu.
The number of Africans and Papuans studying in a Cebu is also gaining traction. Cebu is best place to study because we have everything here, good universities, laidback lifestyle, beautiful sceneries
i guess the two years he talks about in college in choosing a professional field was the senior high (grade 11-12) its a preparation for college and a compliance to k-12 program.
In the 60's Philippines was the top agricultural research universities UP Los Banos discovered the miracle rice that greatly improved the overall rice production of Asian rice producing countries such as Thailand, Vietnam and etc. Many foreign students were from those countries. Then in the 70's were the middle eastern students i.e. Saudis studied engineering. Nowadays it's the medical and nursing schools are filled with foreign students from allover; also English language schools attended by Koreans, Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese and other Asians.
I'm a Licensed Teacher major in BIOSCIENCES. Biology is all about reading, memorizing, familiarizing, observing and many practical activities. So you better think twice before you decide to take Biosciences related courses
Nepalese are really nice persons! They are respectful and kind. I said it because i have several experiences on nepalese co-workers when i was in Saudi, they really are kind and respectful.
I have worked in Afghanistan for 7 years. We had as our security Gurkhas, the famous soldiers from Nepal known for their bravery. I noticed that they look like Filipinos. Just like the Indonesians, we look so similar with each other.
Nepali is singular, Nepalese is plural in conversation. Nepali is present tense, Nepalese is present future tense. I’m a Filipino living in the uk and a graduate of the ATENEO university. So guys don’t worry, you’ll get there in due course and time.
A lot of foreigners get shock when they go to the philippines because they thought philippines is all about slums.. But when they get here they all shock to see how developed it is specially in educational system..
I wonder what school he is enrolled now. He looks like filipino though and has a good command of the english language so it would not be difficult for him. Goodluck to both of you and I wish you success in life.
Am a Filipino who studied Chemical Engineering in Saint Louis University. Coming to the US, worked in an Aerospace company as Materials and Process staff engineer. Unlike Civil engineering, Chemical engineering in the Phil is equivalent to Chemical engineering in the US.
@@peet225 i think he meant the level in job acceptance. Bcoz of the different climate and techniques/customs in infrastructure building civil engineers from Philippines might be not desirable in US where in Chemical engineering is somewhat universal. Im just guessing tho.
Thumbnail brought me here. Enjoy staying in my country and make a lot of Filipino/Filipina friends. I met two Nepalese in the university where I finished my college in Benguet State University and they are now doctors now, The name was Deepak Raj Josue and Bimal Regmi.
Study now pay later. A government agency for those students with high grades can not afford to go college, they offer that study now pay later.mind it that agency after u graduate they will help u find job.so u can pay them.😃😃😮
Both Filipinos and Nepalis have some Chinese blood running through their veins that is why We have some similarities. Both countries have a lot of Chinese migrants.
I'm amazed that you guys have managed to travel miles away just to study in our country while many Filipinos would like to travel abroad just to study! The good things that you've mentioned, we usually didn't notice it or we are taken it for granted as we are used to it already. 🤗 Good luck to both of you hope you guys will graduate with flying colors and could use what you've learned from here 👍
Welcome to the PHiLs. Its good to know to have choosen the Phils as your educational mentor to be a great architect in the future. Hope you'd had a great time studying here in the Philippines and make the most out of it while staying. Goodluck and God Bless
It's not that we don't have enough space, Philippines is almost 300k square kilometer in area. We have vast space, it's just that people want a city living. The country side has so many space. Fyi
I miss those times in college, He's right about skills, and practical applications. You have to have a lot of skills to survive in the "real world " after graduation. Best regards from Malaysia.
During our college days late 70s to early 80s at Admson U. i have a lot of foreign classmate specially Iranian, thailander, indonesian, Nigerians and americans.
Education standards in Europe especially USA now a days are becoming low due to many political divisions which also affects their studying programs. While in the Philippines it's definitely top notched, and many developed countries recognize us which increases the chances of being hired. Not only that living in the Philippines is cheap which helps foreigners save more and focus more in their studies, and lastly it's better to be with Filipinos than the Europeans honestly.
Thanks for choosing the Philippines. Studying in the Philippines is affordable & you get the best quality of Educations. Before, there are plenty of Iranians & Thais studying in the Philippines. Aside from studying, I believe you will love the environment & most especially her people & also our English educations. Thanks Dorcas & your Nepali friend or muchas gracias fr. Manila.
I enjoyed this video much more than your other videos...Collaboration obviously works you...most importantly you have done a great job as a host by being so gracious to the guest, focusing on him and not eclipsing him with your stories. Brilliant!! Ms. Dorcas.
Yes there are a lot of good universities outside Manila and Cebu come to Bacolod City, Baguio Davao and Cagayan de Oro alot more..... More cheaper than Manila...
although Philippines is a 3rd world country, it is very competitive in terms of Education especially in universities so how much more in International Schools.
@@SIMPLYCOOLVIBES we are indeed a developing country but we aren't there yet, we are still considered a third world country, go google it if you want proof. LOLs
@@HumanSagaVault mostly people used it in that way but recently as study shows we are on track as developing countries in asia alongside with Vietnam, thailand, Indonesia, Philippines etc. Thank you by the way for that info.
English is always a major factors why international students go abroad to study especially if they want to focus in their studies. Because if you study in Germany or Japan, you have to study and learn their local language first before you can actually enroll to make you more confident enough because the teachers/professor have little or no skill in English at all.
Hi girl, please regards to him. I want him to become a boyfriend because he looks like a handsome Filipino hehehe lande. I want to invite him for hiking and biking all over the Philippines hahaha
Our korean students before said that if they stay here in the Philippines even if they can't work they can provide their study but if they go to US or Australia they have to work to provide their study.
@@mikelawre6190 filipino engineers are very indemand too specially chemical engineers, Nautical engineers, civil engineers, electirical engineers and B.S. Accountancy! Specially 60% of Seamen in the world are coming from Philippines
@@angbabaenghot54 maybe you're referring to Middle East & Asian Countries? I agree for seafarers, any country might allow you to work immediately. However, for Europe & US you will be required to get additional requirements and pass their licensure exams in order for you to be recognized especially for Engineers, Accountants & Medical Professions.
Nepalese are pretty much the same as filipinos in feature, sorry to say but if we're docking in middle east especially in uae i'm always looking for a nepalese girls coz they have a huge resemblance to filipina girls and that's why i like.. i more preferred them than russian women..
Many good looking boys in Nepal even in far flung villages perhaps because of their Aryan descent pointed nose. I taught English and Computer as a volunteer in Nepal for almost 5 years now every 5-6 months but some schools can sponsor 2 years without pay you have to arrange sponsor to your upkeep. The good thing is you can explore business like in tourism and IT sector where big opportunities now in Nepal.
In the philippines not expenssive to studying and more freedom ,but little bit scarry if you trust to your bad impluence friends,it's up too you how you care yourself.if you want safe your self then find good friends only.
We hav 2 full-time Nepali bus drivers in our school here in Qatar, staying in the school's male accommodation. They have been here for more than 20 years, pioneers in our school, and they have adapted our Fil.culture already. Our school cleaners are Nepalis too and they are like brothers to us. They are respectful and hard working individuals.
Its like he is my twin brother. People from abroad whenever I go for vacation thought I was Nepalese. Nepalese would stop and ask me if I were Nepali. Filipinos would sometines look like nepalese.
Its only Nepalese. One time I was trying to talk in Tagalog to a girl who was ahead of me in line in Singapore. She told me she is Indonesian.I was shocked coz she looks like a Filipino. Then we chatted a lot on our way to Malaysia.
he or you must be2a descendants of or soldier from inda ir Sri lanka who choose to stay when the British occupied Manila 17th century...those descends r all found in Cainta manila, try to check our Philippine history.
I live here in Australia but I have a three stories house there in Philippines .. you study there come to Australia for your number one .. looked at me number one in the region .. good teacher I have when I studied there, bright teacher , bright student..
A lot a nigerian studied in Cebu im from Cebu living in USA my school Cebu Technical School i dont know if that still around what course you're studying????
May I ask a question for you both? 1. Why do you choose to study here in the Philippines? 2. After finishing college here, how easy it would be for you to find a job in your country? I hope you could enlighten me. I find your Q&A really fascinating. So happy to have foreigners like you who appreciate The Philippines and our people. 😊😊❤️🇵🇭
A video on why foreigners choose to study in the Philippines will be up tomorrow and that will answer your first question. 2.For me,after I finish my study here,I will have to take the board exam in my country to be licensed.I can then decide to work in my country or take the licensure exam to be able to work in other countries. For Bishal,I can’t say for him.I will have to ask him and reply again. Thanks so much for watching❤️❤️
The comment section is like 30% on topic about Philippine education etc.. 70% about how good-looking the Nepali guy ahahah btw I'm part of that 70%, cheers to both of you, and good luck with your studies!
