You probably know that soft-spoken, calm, polite, elegant, classy, and refined are traits that Japanese people highly value, whether in architecture, clothing, cuisine, design, or social interaction. Japan is not meant for everyone, but for those who can instinctively sense the comfort in the air will be a good match with Japan.
As a German after my first visit to Japan I liked it a lot more than Germany. Now after 8 visits I've got a better picture and see a lot of good and bad things in both countries. It's really about what you value in life. I'll move there next year and will see what life has in store for me there.
I’m from America, Visited Japan awhile ago, in my opinion Japan probably one of the best country to live in because it is so peaceful, they care about nature sense of high morale to society and many more. I am seriously love your channel because you shoot so many about nature scenes and I love nature very much can’t live without it. I am so desperate to live away from chaos society like the US. Have a good day.
The longer you live there the more hypocrisy you’ll see. The Japanese love their disposable chopsticks. And in order for them to have them Indonesian Rainforests are being mowed down to provide them. When you ask Japanese people why they don’t cut down their own trees to supply their disposable chopsticks they reply “But our forests are sacred!”
Thank you for the beautiful video. First and foremost, as a Japanese person, I would like to congratulate you on embarking on this significant journey in Japan. You mentioned cultural differences in your video. While Germans and Japanese are often said to share traits like discipline and rigidity, I believe there are significant differences, particularly in the culture of discussion and debate. Of course, as you mentioned, there are both positive and negative aspects to these cultural differences. Embracing and incorporating these differences might be challenging, but I sincerely hope that your dreams come true.
I’m not married nor divorced. I got very lucky with my home and I actually pay the same amount or even less of monthly rent than in an apartment in Germany. Hope that answered your question. :)
Thank you for sharing your journey… I have also been to Japan but just a very few times. It is such a great mixture of peacefulness but also urban culture ...thanks again.
You asked us to say something about ourself. I live in Colorado, USA. You remind me of myself when I was your age: idealistic, being self-conscious, meditating, valuing happiness, not focusing only on our job career, emphasis on organic foods and the environment. I have held on to all these values and at age 73 possess some wisdom in achieving some happiness, etc. You are doing a great job with your channel and I hope to help you achieve your goal of building community, supporting you and your subscribers.
I am Japanese, and really enjoyed your video! I am interested in living in another country, but when I saw your content, I realized that Japan is a good country to live in some aspects. Thanks for sharing your experiences!
You have made a great choice. Japan is marvelous and Kyoto brings us some kind of peace we can’t explain. I have been in Japan last week from a 15 day trip and Kyoto was my favorite place. I wish I could move there too since I have Japanese nationality, but was born and live in Brazil. Tks for this lovely and encouraging video.
Hi Nini, I just stumbled upon your RU-vid channel and I'm loving it! I’m in Tokyo now. I've always wanted to live in Japan too. Your calm and soft-spoken vibe is like a breath of fresh air-finally, someone on RU-vid who doesn’t sound like they’re powered by 10 cups of coffee! Keep doing you; you're awesome!
Hi!! I’m Japanese and I have lived in Australia since last July. I am so glad to you have lived in Japan. The video was so interesting for me. It’s Nice to study English .😌I’m gonna watch it other one
I really hope you go up and stay a night in the mountain side of Japan. I love country side in Nagano. Kinasa districts and Ogawa village the favorite. In autumn, mountains cap with white snow at the top, red color from kaede leaves in the middle and green thick forest at the bottom. It’s breathtaking scenery that I hope everyone to see🥰
@@NiniSunsWorld and good part is that not many people knows about this scenery. You can Google Ogawa village and Kinasa 鬼無里. You can find how the look like.
Thanks for sharing these thoughts! I am about to visit Japan for the first time for several weeks, and am looking forward to learning about how the culture and traditions encourage mindful living🙏
Great video guys. That's a lifestyle that everyone should experience at least once in a lifetime. For me, it looks like the way people were always meant to live: enjoy life, be peaceful, and always respect Flora and Fauna.
When I visited Japan for the first time in 2017, I felt the happiest I had ever been. Just being there made me feel at peace in a way that is hard to explain, and I have never felt that way since. Before my visit I was going through a hard time in my life that had been going on for a long time. I remember feeling more and more depressed as time went on and I remember feeling very lost in life. After I came back from Japan, I had a great desire to go back. So I decided to try to teach English in Japan. I spent the next three years finishing my AA and finding a teaching Job at a cram school. And then the next two years waiting for Covid to end so that I could enter the country. When I had finally reached Japan and settled in, I was at first happy because I achieved what I most desired. However, after a couple weeks my feelings started to change. I don’t fully understand why but I did not feel the same as I did when I first came to Japan. I became very lonely and depressed while I was there. I was hopeful that it would eventually go away as I met people, but it never did. I came back home after two years and now I don’t know what to do. I just wish I could feel the way I did when I first visited Japan.
I would love to visit Japan and spend some time in a traditional Japanese house - much like where you are staying. Japanese culture has the best sense of aesthetics and I find their art, architecture, garden design etc. breathtaking. As a Buddhist, I also like the fact there is a strong Buddhist influence in Japanese culture (although myself - as a meditator - I am more into the Thailand/Myanmar/Sri Lankan Theravadan). Looking forward to more videos of Japanese culture to inspire my next overseas travel perhaps? 🙂
why are people hating so much i ljust discovered your channel and i like your videos and the calm voice u have i personally am from austria and planning to visit tokyo the next year. I'm already practicing my japanese for the trip. Stay as u are and good luck.
You are so right. I have friends in both Japan and Germany and they are so different from each other. Your mindset will definitely lead you to a happy life. Man muss die Dinge nehmen, wie sie kommen. 😊
Please stop those dirty words. Essential workers of pure Japanese boys love Japanese culture and nature, and maintain natural mountains, rivers and seas with a low monthly salary. Even if there is an earthquake, it is a low monthly salary.
That cafe is so so peaceful. Inside in the back there's a print of Josef Albers, the one with yellow squares. He's also from Germany and also likes hanging out there :)
I am so proud of you to decide to live another country instead of the country where you were born, and I am so grad to hear you like Japan and chose to move to Japan
The question I asked myself was why a person would crack an egg directly in to the frying pan when it should be in a bowl first, that way, if there are broken egg shells, it is easy to get them out, not so easy when you are trying to get them out of the hot pan.
Hi! I think your room and the park where you were chilling are really peaceful. Now, I'm going to choose university in my country. I'm struggling with living in my country because of atmosphere here. After I watched your video, I decided to explore my country and culture more to make my life happier. Thank you for sharing your life in Japan and It's actually amazing!
You seem to have a beautiful soul and a person really close to nature. I would love one day to have discussions with you one day if i have the chance to meet you when i come live in Japan in September. It would be really cool and i dont know that much people like me. Thanks for this video ! I'm grateful for this gift 🙏
Hiyaaa, I'm from Brazil, and I really want to go to Japan someday, I hope I can go to Japan someday. And I love your video style, it's sooo cute and chill...
Very nice video, like a documentary. Maybe you can do more about how you can adapt and make friends with people there. And advice for those who want to move there!
It’s so fantastic filming and scenery ❣️ So beautiful and also Nini 👍 Nice comment and you ‼️✌️ I’d love to 🫶 By the way, best wishes for your success in your future in Japan ‼️🖐️✌️🎉
