Are you sure the chair on the left is the size B, because it looks a lot like the size A. You can check the correct size by placing your hand underneath the top of the backrest, and then feel how many dots there are.
I am 183cm and about 80kg and I had the B and C model at home to decide and I have to say that the C model felt so much more comfortable and less restrictive. Seat depth was not an issue for me with 88cm inner leg length. The B model felt too tight and and the seat depth was too short. During longer sessions it felt more like a kitchen chair. The C model suits me so much better. I think the HM chart is not really exact and should be taken with a grain of salt.
I had this issue. Give the Mirra 2 a try with the infused material on the back and the lumbar support. Feels very nice. Also add the waterfall adjustment in the seatpan. Amazing chair. Hoping Atlas releases the headrest for the Mirra 2.
When he sits in the Size C, he has the chair too high. Your feet have to be flat on the ground and firmly planted in order to relieve stress under your legs.
Similar issue here being 5'11 w the size C. I can make it work BUT I rather the seat pan have the waterfall like the new models in the front as it does hit it at times & I have to sit certain ways to avoid it. But for you also keep in mind your legs are just dangling & you're resting them on the wheels base which isn't good to do all the time sitting. When you plant them on the floor it also gives you more room in that area of your legs too since they are not just hanging down trying to fit on the wheels
Hi, I am 5'11 as well and have an Aeron Remastered incoming. is the plastic really bothersome for you? Can you still sit on the chair for extended amount of time with no complaints? or is the seat depth really that annoying?
@@slickgamer007 Initially when I got it it was kinda bothersome but you will get used to it when you adjust to the right height. Though I thought of something else, I bought the FOAMON Herman Miller Aeron Classic seat foam for $20 in Amazon, it maybe for the Classic but it still fits the remastered, I can say that overall this is better than no foam.
I have the same probelm between the Size A and Size B... I am a smaller person but with a long body. The size A provides amazing support for my lower back and the seat is perfect but the back is not tall enough. I have asked around and it seems you can not interchange the backs.... I hope Herman Miller gets the feedback and in their next iteration allow for a custom variation on the back... just like you can get a custom seat height.
I just bought an aeron and it is now shipping on the way. I have tried the b size on local store and it seems ok to me. Hope this problem wont happen on me after a long period of use. Thanks for your video
I bought one of these chairs size B, big mistake for me since my shoulder blades hurt when leaning back in this chair. I wish I had ordered the size C, making it a little taller for my back. I am always searching for any info. about the sizes but never see anything about it. Is there away I can exchange the size B-back for a size C back? Or is it all having to be the same size?
im 6´2 and had the same Problem went with a b anyway you only really notice the plastic back rim when your reclining hard other then that the b fits better, also you aren´t really supposed to sit that far back as long as your lower pars of your shoudler plates are supported your fine
yeah idk if its just my lanky build but the only real differenter between b and c is the seat width, i geuss it depents on your ass size lmao, i sat in both and went with b but you should really test them in person@@dwight2310
Did you return both the Aerons? It looks like you are sitting too high in the chair, if you lower the height and put your feet more firmly on the ground it should eliminate the seat pan aggravating your thighs. but maybe not, everyone is different.
:) Imperial measurements are a bit like counting in French: 5.10 foot means (5x12)+10 That would mean he is 177.8cm, bus as someone already pointed out somewhere above "approximately 5'10" probably means 5'8/5'9". So he is probably exactly 175cm
The Logitech Embody/Regular Embody is the best chair. It’s better than the Aeron. I have the LE and I bought my wife the Gaming Sayl. I’ve had my LE and the gaming Sayl for over 1yr and it’s the best chair I have ever sat in.
