This is a beautiful review for the show. Couldn't have said it better in my video lol. That moment with satsuki is a little out of place, but it didn't pull me out of the show at all. Overall, it's a work of art that I think more people should definitely watch! I'm glad you liked it!

I binge watched it because of a death battle episode. I didn’t expect it to be this good, they turned fan service into an actual really good plot. Great characters and good comedy, I haven’t laughed that hard in anime for a long time.

I wouldn't say they "overlewded" Satsuki with the later scenes, if people believe it was made to be lewd and had "literally no reason for it", then they missed the point. The point of the scenes were to make the viewer uncomfortable, to show a side of Ragyo that makes you resent and despise her. Not only that, but I believe the scenes are better understood if you take in the fact that characters like Aikuro Mikisugi and Tsumugu Kinagase embrace nudity in order to not be controlled by clothing, and Satsuki knows her goals as "utterly pure" while wearing Junketsu looking the way she does. Not wearing clothes is seen as freedom from the establishment. What Ragyo does is take advantage of it, what would be freedom and purity, she strips it away from Satsuki, making her feel uncomfortable and insecure in her own skin and making it impure by nature of those actions. Everything Ragyo does is for her own gain and pleasure, the core belief that everything is cut from the same cloth and that everything will become life fibres, she does all of this with the thought that the world will be consumed by the life fibres anyways. The fact people are disgusted by the scenes is good, of course there will always be weirdos who find it lewd because of their kinks, but that isn't the point. The scenes weren't made to satisfy those people, it was made to show the hypocrisy of nudist beach's ideals and Satsuki's purity through Ragyo's eyes. Again, it's not my favorite scene in the anime, and I'm not justifying the actions of Ragyo, I'm merely explaining a few reasons why they add to the show and aren't just pointless.

I get weird about fanservice but I don’t really mind Imaishi fanservice for some reason.

Yeah I’ve seen some people just say the show is bad without watching it because they have Ryuko in that costume. But I’m glad you loved the show! Love to hear it
