People get stuck on the reincarnated part where they view him as a 30 something man being ick all the time. The show has some blame for giving the inner monologue the voice. He is a new child in a new world though, despite having knowledge of another life, his emotions and reactions tend to make sense for the age he is at. @@lordturtle8735 the wn is more personal to the author and didn't go through the editors filters. the WN is the absolute ultimate way of experiencing mushoku tensei because unlike many other authors, author Rafujin writes with many details and nuances that may get lost after editing or downright removed to censor for public releases.
