As the name implies Hammer Bombs are Indestructible! I ran it over with my SUV & Truck. Couldn't crack it. Casted it into lava cliffs with sharp jagged rocks. Not even a surface pit. This video shows the many varieties Hammer Bombs are available in. Assorted colors to varying weights & different builds are available. I currently have a few dozen. Only lost 1 HB in over 4yrs. Thanks to Bill Newton for introducing Hawaii to his Hammer Bombs!

More interesting stuff thanks Chris! The hammer bombs seem similar to the Bombarda floats we use here in the UK. Very effective with a lure on a 3ft trace. I'll have a look and seeif it is possible to get some Hammer bombs here, but I fear, as usual, shipping from the USA could be prohibitive. Stay safe & well. 👍👍 EDIT: Just checked the website & no International shipping available. 😢😢

I'm in south Texas, Port Aransas area. We fish our flats with popping cork. Throws out well. Will visit your area one day.

You should try one. In that first part i took out execs from Okuma Fishing USA & Jeff Robles Associates and they loved it too! There's a link in the desc if you want to try one. In the 1st part we're using 12ft Rockaway Casting Rods w/4000 Blue Azores Reels w/20lb braid.

I really love them also. Lost 2 lead rigs in a row even starting the retrieve before the line it the water and they still hung up in about 4 ft of water. Switched to hammerbomb- have yet to snag it yet!

The lures i love to use are from CHL "Completely Hooked Lures" by Landon Yamamoto. They're at most tackle shops like POP & Charley's Fishing Supply. You can write them direct at- www.chlures.com/

Wassup with the white tape on the rods?
@ScubaChris
@ScubaChris 3 года назад
Light reflective tape. If you go at night it'll be easy to find your rod. Also marks it as yours if you're with others. For Med rated blanks how i place the tape strengthens the rod to a MH easily.

That things rip big holes in fish lips especially the small ones..

Most lures/jigs that uses J-styled hooks tend to make better hook-ups but yes it damages the fish more than circle styled hooks i've noticed.

It's worth trying. I personally love this product. I still use lead eggs in deeper depths and sand flats. On rough reef flats it's my best cast assist device!
