Im a big fan of the gentlemens knife and definitely share your enthusiasm for the CEO. I have the Green micarta and copper liner version in D2. My detent and liner lock is flawless and the blade came delightfully centered. I just yesterday finished a feverishly meticulous 25 degree edge on it. Fine ceramic on one side and 220 grit on the other. Nano serrated is the new hot thing and on a D2 steel its pretty awesome. Its my edc for the next couple weeks and so far i love it. My favorite gentlemans edc though is the Spyderco Ikuchi.(S30V). If you have not held or used one i strongly suggest checking it out. Also the Steel Will mini Intrigue F45 in M390. I don't have a ton of knives but the research led me to these three gems. Peace homie 🤙
I love my CEO flipper, but once you get used to carrying it pretty much spoils other knives for you, you get used to that sleek and lightweight carry and you don't want nothing else in your pocket 😏
I have two, one works as promoted (green micarta scales) the other (bamboo scales) is impossible to open one-handed. My advice is to spend the additional $10 and get the Civivi Exarch.
The geometry of that knife and the smoothness of the opening and closing is a grand slam. I bought one last weekend at my local outdoor store. I was there for a few Case knives, and I saw this one on the shelf and decided to buy it in like 5 seconds. I'm surprised how much I love this knife. Every bit of it is super cool. How about that stainless steel flat pummel base!
Mine is on the way. Should look nice in my suit! CRKT makes a great number of affordable and interesting knives. The Pilar III is a personal favorite EDC.
I am not a knife nerd, so only one knife, I have ever had for edc is Boker Kwaiken Titanium Flipper. I like CEO flipper so much because of similiraty and lightness, I cant wait it will arrive today!
@@chevy4x466 CEO Flipper seems too lightweight and subtile to me, but my sister loves it. Its thin blade is perfect for paperwork, packages and food, but i would rather not to use it for anything more than that

I have liked and carried CRKT knives for many years. I have carried the flipper model for several months and I can not say enough good things about it. I chose it because I am left handed and thus the others do not work in the left hand.
Yeah. it can be difficult, but I have small fingers, so that's probably why it's not to hard for me. Try putting your thumb in the crack, where the thumb stud is, at a sideways angle. That's how i disengage it. Thank you for watching my video, and have a great day. 😀
i love the way it looks but there are a few things i don't like about it and so i looked for something similar and ended up buying a Böker Plus Kwaiken Air Jade G10 01BO343, Lucas Burnley design. and i love that knife!
Not sure if your into supreme at all but look up the supreme crkt that is releasing on Thursday very limited I'm sure especially if you are a collector it will be a nice one to add for sure
I took some sand paper and modified the handle a little bit to make it easier to flick the thumb stud if you didn’t know you’d never notice. Just go down a few grit sizes and clean up your work finishing with a polish like flitz cheers
Just got ceo compact. Do not like pocket clips, so I removed this one too. Is there a custom blank to put in the end where the clip was? Great knife, though!
can't you fix the green one by disassembling it and bending the locking metal thing towards the knife? Also I just got my CEO flipper today and I'd give it a 10 if it wasn't so hard to open.

I apologize. The CEOs are in my none use collection, so I haven't used it much, to confidently give you an accurate answer. But of what I did cut, it cut nicely. But Edge retention, I couldn't tell you. Thank you for the comment, and stay safe as well. 😁

Yeah. The black one is really nice. it took me a while to get it, because Blade HQ sell out quick when they get restocked. So if you see one, better grab it fast. I'm also looking forward to the blue micarta one, I will be making a video on it hopefully by next week.
Had mine for almost 2 years and I'm not really a fan. The action is just okay. I have average to large hands and deploying this knife just doesn't work for me.
@@kezpanel then it might need to be disassembled and cleaned out, but I'm pretty sure that will void the warranty. So you might want to send it to CRKT for repair.
They work very well. Solid lock up, No blade play. My green micarta one is the only one that has bad lock up, but that was definitely a Manufacturing mistake.
@@damascusthefox no problem i was going to say it might have been fake but AUS 8 is pretty much about the same in my opinion i love the pilars more than the CEO line up aus 8 a little stronger
I would love this knife to. But to many good Christian folks bought 20 at a time. God forbid anyone else have a CEO. My EDC would chew this thing to ribbons. I like it. I wanted one. But now when I see people bragging about all their ceo's I realize oh he's one of them got 25 ceo's. Kinda of a bunch o jerks. No disrespect. God bless. Enjoy your friends. I'm teasing bro.
