How did a show first made in 1969 still manage to be relevant to this day? What is the deeper meaning behind Scooby Doo Where Are You? Why do we love its characters so much? Let's deep dive into this overthinking.
Watching from Nepal. I didn't watched Scooby Doo as a child. But the way you explained everything reminds me of my childhood favorite cartoon, in fact every 90's Nepali kids favorite " MOOMIN BABA" .
Meanwhile Muslims....... 1️⃣Surah 3:151: "We shall cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve (all non-Muslims) 2️⃣“ To the Muslims, a Hindu is a Kaffir. A Kaffir is not worthy of respect. He is low-born and without status. That is why a country that is ruled by a Kaffir is Dar-ul-Harb to a Musalman ” ~ *AMBEDKAR* F*ck the Sickularism🤮🤮
The mannerisms that Oswald taught me is something that I have ingrained deep into my personality.I owe the courtesy to say thank you to the customer care executives after a phone call, pulling doors for elderly ones to enter the room "Oswald's legendary pehle aap" to the cartoons I watched as a kid that taught me to be polite and kind to others. Definitely the shows we watch as kids reflect in our personality. I'm so glad you brought up this topic. Really appreciate your content and your story telling skills.
Those last words from @9:35 with the inside out soundtrack in the the background gave me goosebumps... Thanks for the video... It definitely gave me insights ✨
I think the main reason we connected to Scooby Doo as kids because it was a mix of cartoon + ghost stories (which we used to hear a lot from our elders during those times).
Thanks for explaining real motive behind our old n gold cartoons they were such a emotional Rollercoaster Scooby doo was one of may fav show. Totally nostalgic felling
What we watch and what we choose to watch greatly impacts us. As children are mostly exposed to cartoons or so they were in 90's this show also portrayed gender equality. Anyway, your take on Scooby doo is so wholesome!!! Also your content is diversifying which is good for us, India in pixels followers..
Even to this day I am 25 yrs old. If I hear a new scooby doo movie is coming out I have to watch it. It has that nostalgia factor for me thats really pulls me in.
Really loved the insights you gave about the psychology behind this classic cartoon !! Its like a whole new perspective that I never noticed! Great video
Courage the cowardly dog Scooby Doo Pokemon Silver surfer, Dexter, Powerpuff girls, Beyblade,Oswald, Captain planet, HeMan, Hercules, All New Denis and menace, Roadrunner, Pink panther, Johnny Bravo, Dragon tales,Richie Rich, SpongeBob Sqauarepant, Ninja Turtles, X-Men, Fantastic Four, RoboCop, Arthur, Hey Arnold, The Sylvester & Tweety Mysteries, Dragon ball Z, Power rangers and many more I can't recall. All these shows shaped not only my childhood but the overall personality too.

Great video brother! Felt highly connected to the concept of Scooby doo characters giving wholesome emotional feast. But didn’t get how it was connected to American hippie movement 😛
A real fan of the cartoon will still get lost in the same manner even after knowing it's essence, btw my favourite was Dexter's Laboratory. Also I acknowledge ur work very much
Ashris bahiya splendid work as ever, very informative as well as structured with bits of humour here and there, and the analysis of scoob's and shaggy's personality was my favourite bit thanks for reminding me the fond memories I had related to this cartoon

Hi Ashris, Please can you post a video with your research on 'how exposing to multiple languages and cultures helps a child mind to grow better?' Waiting to listen to your rich content!
Over time, India in Pixels by Ashris is becoming the most relatable RU-vid channel to me. And I think most millennials will relate to this channel's content. Nostalgia and feeling that songs or movies of a particular time were better than the ones now or of other times, comes because those songs or those movies represent the best (or formative) phase of our lives. India in Pixels RU-vid channel will always have a niche audience in millennials like me.

I'm a Gen-Z and a Bengali too. I have watched Scooby doo much in my times, however, I was not a big fan. But there is a similar Bengali version of this cartoon named "Pandob Goenda" and this fictional detective series was loosely inspired by Enid Blyton's "The Famous Five" (which I'm a big fan of). I have always been fond of detective stories from the young age, I do wonder though, why didn't I like Scooby doo as much as the others...

Bro I swear you were srsly rich to have such interesting mind framing show N abhi ke shows me we hardly see any creative path leading to mind development 😔
Not completely true...i feel shows are getting more complex in today's time which too is necessary for brain development. Watch shows like TAWOG (Gumball ki atrangi duniya which only aired few episodes in hindi was a surreal BAFTA winning cartoon), Teen Titans Go! (It's a silly and sarcastic show which promotes logical thinking while still making us laugh), We bare bears (a wholesome show which teaches us how we can be different but still be together), Upin Ipin (recently started airing Malaysian cartoon which is cute as well as informative) ,etc. It's just these shows are not very popular among millennials but they are very interesting..you must try watching them...they make more sense than many movies. Terrible cartoons like motu patlu, shiva, vir the robot boy, etc are making new generation cartoons infamous. But since india is in its early stage of animation production (first major Indian cartoon was chota bheem released in 2007-8 just 15 years ago) it will surely improve with time and catch on with its peers in taking a realistic and creative approach. That's all. I also hope that classic shows remain off the radar of the new inclusive ideology (Shows like Velma which changed the race of Velma to an Indian girl from white are cringe worthy).
Some of my favorite childhood cartoons were: Courage the cowardly dog (It had such vivid and unexpected suspense and was quite scary too, it taught me that life is unexpected!) There was an Indian cartoon- Krish, Trish, and Baltiboy. Trust me it is so far the best Indian cartoon representing our culture and folktales. It shaped my character in a lot of ways through its practical and entertaining stories with incredible Indian-style animation! And there are many more to count💖(So lucky to born in early 2000s)
Oh man those were some great shows, Me and my grandma use to watch them, she and I loved Krish, Trish, and Baltiboy it's storytelling and style of animation and design was amazing
I still remember the morals from Krish Trish and Baltiboy, it was such a good show. When I see today's cartoon shows, it's just so silly and stupid, and containing neither any moral nor any knowledge.
Really laughed out loud when I heard "bakchodi" 😂😭 Though you have a very beautiful voice and maybe that's the reason curse words sounds really calming too. I just love your voice😭❤️

@@trueRationalThinker bro...... I never asked for this and anyways every religion has some bad things, that might seemed good at that time or to the writer or to that region. And i don't think most Indian muslims take pagan phrase too seriously that's just stupid phrase and might be the way of mohommad to unify Arabia which was polytheistic in pre-islamic arabia and wanted to make an empire to withstand Byzantine or whatever the fuck empire the region was enclosed with at that time
Scooby doo along with the shows like flinstones, jetsons and Popeye were the lifeline for 90s kids in india. Their animation and stories are still way better than 99% of today's indian animated shows.
For some reason many don't realize the profanity in that phrase. I also used to think it is a ...erm U-rated word. But then again I am a Telugu guy, so my understanding of hindi is not that nuanced.
Superb explanation. Dexter from Dexter's laboratory inspired me to be a scientist and I am a PhD now. Cartoons are not just TV shows, they mold our personalities from very first day.
Most of the old cartoon had a certain theme and plot that generate curiosity in children mind. I still remember there is one episode in courage the cowardly dog where Muriel stuck in hurricane and become 5 year old girl and courage search on computer about clockwise and anticlockwise hurricanes. They certainly try to explain here coriolis effect.
Scooby doo is very much underrated. It will be interesting to know what caused the start of Tom and Jerry and also anime for that matter. Thanks again for sparking one more nerve in our brains.
Scooby Doo is 1960s not 1990s. We Indians had it in the 1990s because that’s when the markets opened and private television channels began operations. Old syndicated cartoons were cheaper to buy broadcasting rights for.
*Golden age of cartoon and kid shows in india (2004-2012)* *Cartoon network* - Ben 10, Tom & Jerry, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Scooby-Doo, Power puff girls, Billy and Mandy, dragon tails, Dbz, bob the builder, Gali gali sim sim, Noddy, Horrid Henry, Popeye etc *Disney* - Art attack, Mickey mouse, Phineas and Ferb, Best of luck Nikki, The suite life of jack and Cody, Shararat *Jetix* - Kick batwaoski, Hero, Power rangers all series, Dino thunder *Disney xd* - Shaka laka boom boom, kid vs kat, gon the stone age boy, lucky man, ultra B, Vicky and veetal and Ryukendo, Choor police! *Hungama* - Doremon, kitretsu, Asari-chan, Shin chan, Are you afraid of the dark, Hagemaru, Pokemon, kochikame, Beyblade and detective Conan, Rantaro the Ninja boy *Nickelodeon* - Oggy and the cockroaches, Dora the explorer, ninja hatori, Ninja turtles, peppa pig and Shaun the sheep *Pogo* : Jungle Book, Mad, Pink panther, Oswald, Mr bean, Mr bean animated series, astro boy and Takeshi castle (Copied) Nowadays there's only some shitty cartoons like Fukrey Boys, Gadget guru Ganesha, Little Singham which has no moral value, no good script, nothing.
Fred and Daphney stan here ✋👽 I Love Shaggy *hope he shagged Velma * *coughs in uk English if ykykyk * Btw I soo want a cat or dog or any pet like Scooby doo to be my companion in ghost hunting, spying and just random adventures ufff if only I wasn't a 16 yo with so much stress. Btw Ashris also pls make a psychoanalysis on Krish and Trish and Baltiboy pweaseeee!!! 🥺
I loved Krish Trish baltiboy and Thomas and friends most Those were most memorable cartoons of my childhood as well they gave me a lot of moral lessons too
tysm for taking your time & effort to make this video ♡...purani yaade taza ho gayi...not a 90's kid but I definitely watched the 1969 version aur mai apne bhai ko bhi ye cheezbata rahi thi
Scooby Doo Richie Rich Thomas and his Friends Shin Chan Doraemon Tom and Jerry Oggy and the cockroaches Courage the cowardly dog Beyblade Power Rangers Pokemon Chota Bheem And tons more 🧡
I was born in the year 2002, watching this video I realized I began watching TV somewhere around 2005-06 and somehow it feels awkward (maybe because this is the first time I realized that I was alive those times). I know it's funny 😅😂 Well, jokes aside, I do have some faint memories of Scooby Doo, though I don't remember anything to be honest. My early childhood was spent watching Thomas & Friends, Tom and Jerry, Pink Panther, Courage the cowardly dog, Powerpuff girls, Chota Bheem, MAD and, Mr. Bean animated series. Later on I started watching Phineas and Ferb, Art Attack, FAQ, Kemon Ache, Oggy & the Cockroaches Doraemon and Shinchan. Selfie with Bajrangi is only the third and last Indian cartoon I remember watching after Chota Bheem and Kemon Ache. Bachpan ke din yaad aa gaye ❤❤
I can't help but let my mind go back to the OG show Courage the Cowardly dog because in that show while facing monsters who were way more powerful than him courage would scream, cry and do whatever he can to express his emotions and then later on would somehow gather himself up and would go out and face the monsters, find ways to save Muriel and Eustace. Why, because he knew he was Muriel and Eustace's last hope because if he gave up then no one's coming to save them that it'll all be over because there are no superheroes in his world that he is his own saviour his only hero. This simple little thought has stayed with me even in my adulthood, that's its completely alright to get scared, be afraid of something bigger, mightier than you because in the end we are all living beings afraid of something bigger than us and that expressing how you feel about it in whatever ways you like is completely alright and that, in the end actually gives us the strength to fight back for the things we actually care about. Thank You P.S. I know thoda zyada ho gaya but that's how I feel😊
One of my favorite show,I also like beyblade,Ben10 and generater rex, even though the template is the same I always wondered why I liked it so much, now I know
Don't know why but I related so deeply to Courage The Cowardly Dog in my childhood In my adult life it gave me the strength to have a solution to every problem
Ur videos are so enjoyable and fun to watch....and i love ur content so so ....much ❤️❤️❤️......i have suggestion why don't u start a podcast...i think it will be informative for us...also may be u will have fun....love form odisha
These shaped me: Oswald: kindness Doraemon: Scientific zest Popeye: I remember I asked mumma to cook spinach more often. 🤣STILL DO. Richie Rich: Chivalry Powerpuff girls: To stand against wrong Sabrina: The demeanor.
Was a "wow" moment for me when I first related Spectecool Productions , India in Pixels, you and KGP(a few years ago). As a freshman here, on campus - those Spectecool videos are damn relatable. You could have made a few more there :)
They don't make beautiful things like these fot children anymore. Children now grow up watching sigma edits and nibbi reels. Such a shallow generation we are going to have in future.
