Vainsz u are to lucky man the just sended u the laptop worth 1lakh 25thousand bro like i have a i3 4th gen pc that to i play fortnite on it in lag so can u plz tell me. The email where did u contact asus for sponsorship plz it would be pleasure ❤
I have one of these, not the exact same specs I have a 3060, very very good, good wifi card for better wifi, great hertz, best laptop out there in my opinion
@@DNF07should be on their website though I doubt you will get a response anyways. They don’t collab with small creators as yk, it costs them to send it and they lose money Yea that’s it, just find it on their website
The reason everyone doesn’t do this is cuz laptops like this cost like 3 grand while a PC with the same/similar specs that works just as good is like half the price or less. Also laptops have a lot of cooling issues and you can’t customize them or upgrade them most of the time
@@butflord3037no laptop keyboard will beat a good external mechanical keyboard and the small screen doesnt give you any advantage in gaming. Laptops may sound nice on the 1st time but after 3-4 years the battery will show its age and cooling will be horrible
@@zeronin4696 honestly this is outdated. Gaming laptops have improved greatly, especially the Lenovo Legion 7 series, those use Liquid Metal and vapor chambers. Never goes past 76C on CPU or GPU in my testing. It’s wild, and the 4090 in it is basically on par with a 4070 ti desktop. On Black Friday this laptop went on sale for $2099, which isn’t much different than a 4070 ti build would cost. Yes the PC is an easier upgrade path, but to be honest in 3-4 years the CPU will bottleneck a newer GPU anyway so you’d likely be stuck replacing both like I was with my rig (3700x to 14900K and from AMD VII to 4090). Ended up costing over $3500 since the RAM had to be changed too, motherboard, cpu cooler, and I had to get a new NVME SSD etc. For $2.1K you’d easily get a 4090 laptop that is on par with a 4070 ti desktop build.
The reason why you arent noticing a performance difference is most likely because you are doing cpu intensive tasks, and the things are not that demanding compared to more power consuming tasks or higher quality games that put a lot more demand on your components, but hey if it works for you thats all that matters!
ofc but laptops are so viable for pro players that are tier 2, they no longer need to carry a desktop when going to LAN events and a monitor easily fits on a medium size luggage. so for val and cs its so perfect. ofc if youre a tier 1 player u dont even need to take a pc since its all provided for but look at lan events like epic lan in the uk you need to take your own pc
Isn't doing insensive tasks on cpu the same as comsuming a lot of cpu power? It's just doesn't makes sense, but I can agree that trying to compare computers with Valorant is not the best idea.
this is amazing, i also have a laptop and have a little bag where i can put my keyboard mouse headset and ofc the laptop. Very convenient especially for what you do. Good luck!
As a guy who uses gaming laptop for both gaming and productivity, im starting to think that gaming laptops are almost preferrable over PCs. Sure you can get a cheaper price by building a PC, but you can't match the portabilty of laptops. I have an ASUS ROG Zephyrus G15 2020 with Ryen 9 5900x and RTX 3060 and it worked wonders for gaming and editing, plus i can take it anywhere if i want to. In conclusion, gaming laptops are more than just promising, it really works.
Ur right in terms of portability laptops are a Must buy but it terms of performance no where near even if u have the most expensive laptop in the universe 😂 Cuz think about it a pc needs a whole AIO or a thick ass cooler to just cool the cpu alone (if u have a high end cpu , most of them now need a decent cooler to prevent overheating or thermal throttling ) and the gpu has its own cooler as well How are u going to possibly get the same performance and cooling in a laptop thats the only issue that still keeps many gamers away from laptops but if ur filthy rich u might as well have both a laptop and a pc that would be great
it will always preform great at first, but after a year or two the preformace goes down horribly. its a normal occurance for laptops and it just isnt better than a pc
Well, if you don't treat it properly, that is. You can also break your desktop if you overclock it too much or don't clean it from time to time. If your laptop fails after a year it's usually only one-time case or a "you" problem. My AERO15X with GTX1070 can still handle games like Cyberpunk five years after I got it. The only thing that failed was a battery, but it's easily swappable and not that expensive.
Valorant is rendered via the cpu, so that is why you do not notice any performance dips. You will notice a performance dip once you use a gpu intensive task like playing a non esports title. I do not know if you play any other games, but you should see a 10fps or even higher performance difference between a laptop 4090 and a full 4090. Also another reason why your laptop lasts about an hour is because of the rtx 4090 and i9 13th gen. They require significantly more power, but the battery is not able to store so much energy without it basically become laptop from the early 2000's. In order to get the full performance from any gaming laptop you have to keep it plugged in which defeats the purpose of getting a laptop because of its mobility. Also laptops can get quite hot because you have to use the keyboard on the laptop, so you are essentially directly touching a 80c computer. Which is why I went from a laptop to a desktop to avoid having to touch it during the hot summer heat. Other ways you can solve it is by putting it on a fan which improves temperatures, but still makes it incredibly uncomfortable to use while hot. However, the best thing about laptops are definitely the mobility. While yes, having it plugged in to the wall constantly defeats the purpose of a laptop: mobil platform, being able to bring to another house is very convenient. Which is what I lost when I got a 4090 myself.
@@aydhin1833 Most people still play on their laptop keyboards, but yeah, that is what I did when i got my laptop. Though the laptop is broke, so now i am stuck with a desktop 4090.
A laptop 4090 and desktop 4090 will have 40% difference thats like 40 fps higher for the desktop easily. The power limits and memory bus width is wayy higher. A laptop 4090 faintly matches a 4080 desktop more in line with a 4070ti desktop.
@@Vin_Nair nah the 4090 laptop is between a 4090 and a 4080 in terms of performance still though it is impossible to get accurate performance metrics on a cpu intensive game like valorant because valorant doesn't stress the gpu, but I can tell you that between a laptop i9 13th gen and a desktop 7950x3d the 7950x3d gives about 50-100 fps more in valorant
@@allenliu8820 a 7950x should be compared to a 13980hx and i am pretty sure results will be closer. And as i said a 4070ti has more memory bandwidth, and considerable benchmarks scores than any laptop 4090.
ohhh this is why i havent seen you online in friends list for a while, I also travel a lot too and go to lans and got a lapto, not as over kill, got a lenovo LOQ 16 with rtx 4060 and a i7 13620H and i average around 450 fps with 1% lows of 380 which is plenty. I also got a travel monitor that is a little more affordable so im not affraid of breaking my main one. I got an omen X25f 240hz 25 inch tn one. its tn so super fast response times but pretty bad for content creation since its a tn panel and not very color accurate. im super happy and impressed with the performance since my old laptop that is around 4-5 years the ROG zephyrus 17GWR cant even hold a consistent 240 fps and drops to 150 sometimes. crazy to think that was a 3500$ laptop and the new lenovo one was 1400$, laptops are so so good for competitive shooters now perfect for people that travel or go to lans. Before i would have to carry my huge desktop and be affraid of damaging it in travel.
This is cool! Maybe if you're still looking for ways to bring your pc anywhere, try building an ITX pc 😅 that's my content recently. Anyway, awesome video as always!
I wasn't sure if you were trolling but when I heard that you were traveling. it made sense. What I'm worried about is the temperature over-time (with dust and general uses), the power consumption and the battery quality. because a tower is way easier to maintaine then a laptop so your parts wear out more quickly. It looks nice tho.
Gaming laptops are the cutting edge in mobile performance, but they are not professional looking and not really suitable for work environments. Companies like Dell make professional mobile workstations, but since they are targeted towards companies with unlimited computer budgets, the prices are jacked up even higher than consumer gaming laptops and they are missing features like high refresh rate displays. Dell does make the XPS line, which is supposed to be the sexy, professional high power laptop, but its slim design cripples its thermal performance as new high end components are running more hot and power hungry than ever. I wish there was good in between gaming laptop and professional mobile workstation laptops. The features and specs of gaming laptops with the design sense of professional engineers or business users.
I have a 4090 gaming desktop and just recently picked up a 4060 laptop for 900 great deal and plays most games at max at over 100 fps including cyberpunk which the laptop has given me time to go back try again
I am watching this video on a 60hz monitor and still i can feel the smoothness this new asus laptop is producing in valorant. And before i just had a doubt, but now i know for sure my pc sucks at handling valorant. Because, earlier it was just the input lag that bothered me in my gameplay because i am stuck with a vga monitor and my gpu has a hdmi output. So, i use a converter to get the display. But now my pc just straight of the bat does fps drops and add more input lag as i play matches again and again. It's a miserable experience. Although, i could only wish i had this laptop rn. I did be so happy!
Also some says that 1440p is the sweet spot for gaming and some says when you play at 4k you can never go back to the previous resolution tho a 3080 ti to 3090 desktop in laptop performance i would definitely take it if i could afford it without a doubt
laptops are alot better and affordable these days. but the downside to a laptop depending on the company, is you dont have the flexibility of changing out parts like a pc and i dont mean cpu or gpu, i mean ram and storage is starting to get soldered on instead to make the device more thin. but that has inconvenienced me in some cases. so do your research before just buying a random laptop. but i will never go over the top for a laptop. 1000 dollars would be the max i would spend. but i got mine for 600 new with a rtx 3050, 4 core 8 thread i5, and 256gb of storage which i expanded to 2 tb ssd. and 8gb of ram which i expanded to 16gb so probably closer to 700.
Honesly getting a mid ranged laptop and then replacing it with another mid range laptop down the line is better then buyimg 1 top of the laptop if you ask me
I have this laptop, and overall it’s been kind of a mid experience tbh😢. It has so much power and potential, but asus and nvidia are really dropping the ball on the driver side of things. A little tip with this laptop: when considering an external monitor, avoid hdmi and thunderbolt. Thunderbolt is basically useless due to using the integrated gpu to drive the monitor, and HDMI monitors with high specs are way more expensive than display port, with practically the same latency.
I made the switch from a desktop using this for work/gaming/streaming and its been a solid experience so far. HDMI 2.1 for primary display and caldigit dock for peripherals/secondary display works great. I really have no complaints outside of some issues with function keys depending on the GPU performance mode.
I have a laptop that can't even run Minecraft, valo,Fortnite, farlight etc etc it can only run roblox and im always getting 40 fps and 140+ ping i can never play any game i want except roblox it doesn't have a gfx card or a rtx card but i am grateful tho because i have something to play with rather then nothing to play with thanks to my mom and dad for the hard work they did to give me this laptop
Just answer my question. Do you always use power supply of the laptop on while working on your setup or you operate on your laptop's battery too . And what do you recommend to always keep on the power supply or use battery after charge is finished on your setup . because i also have the same exact setup you have . A secondary monitor, rgb keyboard, wireless rgb mouse and the same exact laptop . Please answer my question i would really appreciate it .
I got a cheaper laptop this Christmas after breaking my old MSI laptop. It's MSI Katana B12BVGK, it's over 600$ cheaper than this laptop. Spec- 12th gen i7 12650H, QHD 175Hz display, RTX 4070 version. But I think it's ok for the next 5 years lol. First time using QHD and loving it. I don't like desktops because I can take my laptop anywhere lol. Maybe there'll be a quantum computer in the next 5 years lol.
do not ever believe that a laptop can get closer to a PC, he has been paid to say that. I had laptops for many years, and I switched to a PC, OMG the difference is not just days years
Stop capping. I also own a 4090 laptop(razer) and 4090 pc. While the laptop is impressive and practically the most power you can get in a laptop it still pales in comparison to my 14900k 4090 rig in performance
This much power is a bit excessive for just playing valorant though isn't it? I have seen that game running on i5 10th gens with 100fps which is quite enough for playing smoothly
lots of story games, RDR2, hogwarts legacy, the witcher 3, mafia, diablo 4, cyberpunk, and many others to explore haha, those games I play purely for fun since playing valorant sometimes feel like I'm not playing you know. Keyboard builds, maybe yes maybe not, I notice the overall interest in the custom keyboard hobby is just way lower than it was, so might not worth the effort of making the video and not getting any traction. But yeah I do still have some unbuilt keyboards to complete still
Worst ideea ever, asus doesn't have a good cooling, Lenovo offers You what is the Best, good materials, good display with 240hz 1ms gsync hdr 500nits and good resplution, aluminium case, good cooling etc
